Absolutely Fantastic!
Manta rays and sharks, sharks, sharks and a whale shark too. So many fish and sea life. Many different types of dives and dive conditions. Great Dive Masters and boat crew, fantastic food, daily stops to deserted islands. I had such a good time, can't wait to book again.

Awesome adventure!
Excellent. Should note however this is a predominantly Italian boat so be prepared if not an Italian speaker (although all guides speak English too). Food is all Italian - would be nice to have some local Maldivian food on occasion too. Other than this, trip was perfect, diving awesome. Great crew on board, Super welcoming and friendly, very well organised. I'd go back in a heartbeat!

Very good, esp. if your an italian!!
Pros and cons... Pros 1) Food was awesome, delicious italian cuisine in the middle of the ocean every single day!! 2) Large rooms!! 3) Friendly and helpful staff, accomodated all our needs!! 4) WHALE SHARKS (more than one) and DOLPHINS!!! Cons... If you're from italy, or are fluent in italian(which I'm not), then definitely recommended. If not, some consideration may be needed, as most of the guides are italian and are not completely fluent in english (except Ali, who is a native and speaks english well enough). Overall, we had a great time!!

Wonderful week aboard with amazing dives
Princess Dhonkamana is a comfortable boat. The crew is working very hard to make your stay aboard unforgettable. Diving was amazing, unique interactions with mantas and sharks. Did not really like the food, not because it was Italian but it did not appear very healthy to me. Not recommended if you are vegetarian. Most of the guests and guides are Italian, but no problem with that.

Fabulous trip, highly recommend the crew
Marco & Valter run a tight professional ship, very well organised. They make all feel very welcome. We love how excited they get about their mama's pasta:) The focus was on the best dive spots and diving, which was perfect for completing our AOW.

Great liveaboard experience
We really enjoyed our liveaboard week with the Princess Dhonkanama travelling as a group of 3 people. The cabins and the boat itself was super nice - we loved the sun decks. the food was a standout with really delicious, multi course meals. We also loved the diving! However, we had some issues in the initial few days with the rental dive equipment (most people seem to bring their own equipment). The group seemed better set up for more experienced divers - we had a few dives which were difficult for beginners/ less experienced divers. On the whole a wonderful trip that we would highly recommend.

Amazing food
Great value for money. Great food. Diving was fantastic following a sublet itinerary as every other live aboard. A couple of things to mention. They use steel tanks which are heavy if you're used to Aluminium. They use 28% nitrox, which is fine but I would rather more. We often got close to our NDC limits.

Good value for experienced divers
Never seen so many eagle rays in one place (Kandooma). Only eight divers on a boat that can take 20 - four divers per dive guide. This also meant I had a spacious cabin to myself.

- Good value at 1. £830+€75 fuel supplement per person 2. Some exciting dives with mantas, eagle rays and plenty of sharks 3. Very good diving dhoni
Best Diving of Maldives
I love the dives, on this trip, I gained more extra experience in diving. We have seen a massive group of Gray Reef Sharks at the channel dive, which is for me a mega highlight. Mantas at cleaning station ..Mantas again at night just at the back side of the boat .. Alimatha Nurse Sharks at night dive. 2 Octopuses in one dive, 2 Hawkbill Turtles in the same area. Our boat is always alone and never mixes with another liveaboard boat. We have every time all dive sites for ourselves. This boat is really know when and where to go because we have exactly see many things underwater in the right time , right place.

Dream trip of life time
First: The boat is very beautiful, I have been on many Liveaboard and this one for the first time makes me feel really HOME. The wooden bed is in a twin cabin and I do feel super private in my own bed with a real mattress. Hot warm water for a shower after dive, a refrigerator that works very well in my cabin. A/C is work prefect also in the cabin. Second: The Food is just amazing every meal as we have three courses..starter main and dessert or fresh fruits. The food on this boat is truly excellent. Third: The Dive ..all I can say is just Wow ! our week is under the best weather in the Maldives, zero rain, best visibility underwater. I have seen the best version of diving in the Maldives on this trip I will forever remember manta madness hovering above my head at the cleaning station .. Sharks, baby sharks.. turtles .. countless blue line snappers, whale sharks, 20+ eagle rays at once schooling playing with the current. Giant moray eels of all kinds and giant sting rays etc. Forth: The Crews are the best all of them Team. Start from pick up and drop off, on the boat or during the dives. I can't thanks them the Team enough for offering me best experience of diving in Maldives. Thank you so much.
