Highlights
The Carpe Novo is the largest yacht of the Carpe Diem fleet offering year-round diving in the Maldives. 12 comfortable cabins spread over 3 decks cater to 22 guests onboard. The Junior Suites, located on the upper deck, have double or twin beds and ocean views. The 6 standard cabins located on the lower deck have either one queen-size bed and a single bed or two single beds. There are also two single suites located on the main deck, ideal for solo travelers. Also on the main deck is the large air-conditioned salon with panoramic views, flat screen TV, entertainment system and library. The upper deck serves freshly prepared dishes at the al-fresco dining table so guests can enjoy the stunning views and sea air. The sun deck has plenty of padded loungers and a partially shaded seating area for tanning in between dives or enjoying a sunset cocktail.
Itineraries on Carpe Novo cover some of the Maldives' best dive sites. The classical routes are 7-10 nights long and explore the Male, Ari, Vaavu and Rasdhoo atolls to name a few. The Deep South trips are for more experienced divers who will be rewarded with hammerhead encounters and thrilling channel diving. Diving takes place from the dedicated dive dhoni (boat) which is fully equipped to give divers all the space they need for kitting up, gear storage, and rinsing. There is also a dedicated camera room with charging ports and a dry area for changing batteries and memory cards, so you don't miss out on the action.

Great for first live-aboard 101 experience
The dive guides were extremely professional and attentive. They truly focused on finding big marine life while also adjusting the itinerary flexibly to ensure the best possible experience for the guests. The food on board was surprisingly good — much better than expected. The menu was thoughtfully planned based on the nationalities of the guests on board, and we even had freshly caught fish from sea fishing, prepared into delicious seafood dishes. The overall experience was excellent. The newly added Starlink internet was also a huge plus and worked amazingly well. If I ever come back to the Deep South route again, Carpe Novo will definitely be my first choice.

A great diving trip. I signed up last minute and had an experience exceeding expectation. Met wonderful fellow divers and the dive guides are also very professional and helpful. Everything is well organized and the room is quiet spacious for a boat.

Best dive trip
I enjoyed my second trip on Carpe Novo very much, this was my very best dive trip at all up to now. The tour motto „Manta Madness“ did not disappoint, we saw a lot of Mantas. My dive guide Naveen was very experienced, engaged and caring.

Awesome dive trip on Carpe Novo!
We did the 7 days Male-Male cruise and had such a great time on Carpe Novo with awesome dives! Our dive guide Maazin was brilliant and also the whole crew on board! We highly recommend to go on Carpe Novo, it was perfect!

Excellent from beginning to end!
The crew went out of their way to make this a great experience. The food was excellent and plentiful and always ready when we were hungry from diving. The dive crew made sure we had great dives. We had a comfortable and well equipped boat for the diving.

Great diving holiday
Had a wonderful week of diving on Carpe Novo at end of March and the beginning of April 2022. Fantastic diving in the central atolls, with great company, beautiful weather, and top-notch service onboard the Carpe Novo. Our very professional dive guides showed us some of the best dive sites in the central atolls, with plenty of sharks, mantas, eagle-rays, turtles, and much more! I clearly recommend this trip and hope to come back one day soon!
