Highlights
The Carpe Novo is the largest yacht of the Carpe Diem fleet offering year-round diving in the Maldives. 12 comfortable cabins spread over 3 decks cater to 22 guests onboard. The Junior Suites, located on the upper deck, have double or twin beds and ocean views. The 6 standard cabins located on the lower deck have either one queen-size bed and a single bed or two single beds. There are also two single suites located on the main deck, ideal for solo travelers. Also on the main deck is the large air-conditioned salon with panoramic views, flat screen TV, entertainment system and library. The upper deck serves freshly prepared dishes at the al-fresco dining table so guests can enjoy the stunning views and sea air. The sun deck has plenty of padded loungers and a partially shaded seating area for tanning in between dives or enjoying a sunset cocktail.
Itineraries on Carpe Novo cover some of the Maldives' best dive sites. The classical routes are 7-10 nights long and explore the Male, Ari, Vaavu and Rasdhoo atolls to name a few. The Deep South trips are for more experienced divers who will be rewarded with hammerhead encounters and thrilling channel diving. Diving takes place from the dedicated dive dhoni (boat) which is fully equipped to give divers all the space they need for kitting up, gear storage, and rinsing. There is also a dedicated camera room with charging ports and a dry area for changing batteries and memory cards, so you don't miss out on the action.

A great diving trip. I signed up last minute and had an experience exceeding expectation. Met wonderful fellow divers and the dive guides are also very professional and helpful. Everything is well organized and the room is quiet spacious for a boat.

Great for first live-aboard 101 experience
The dive guides were extremely professional and attentive. They truly focused on finding big marine life while also adjusting the itinerary flexibly to ensure the best possible experience for the guests. The food on board was surprisingly good — much better than expected. The menu was thoughtfully planned based on the nationalities of the guests on board, and we even had freshly caught fish from sea fishing, prepared into delicious seafood dishes. The overall experience was excellent. The newly added Starlink internet was also a huge plus and worked amazingly well. If I ever come back to the Deep South route again, Carpe Novo will definitely be my first choice.

Amazing trip
What an amazing trip! Maldives is always the best, and Carpe Novo was best choice for me. There are very well experienced guides and friendly crews on the board👍they are all Madivians, so they know the ocean of Maldives really well, guess this is so important fact to take a trip with Deep south in Maldives. Foods were so nice. I will choose Carpe series again for next Maldive trip.

Excellent Liveaboard
This was a the Deep South Itinerary which was a truly memorable experience. Numerous Shark, Manta and Turtle encounters. Carpe Novo is an excellent boat which really feels spacious. I had a standard bedroom which was huge and had an equally large bathroom. The crew really make the trip special. A variety of delicious food with lots to choose from including an island BBQ on one of the nights. The dive guides are very knowledgeable and take you to the best spots. All in all a truly memorable week and I will return.

Great liveaboard
The "Best of Maldives Tour" was great. We saw a lot of sharks, had a night dive with manta rays and one with nurse sharks and other animals. There were only ten divers on board, so we had a lot of space. The food was fantastic, very varied and extremely tasty.
