The 27m Duyung Baru is a traditional Indonesian Phinisi scheduling year-round dive trips to the iconic dive areas of Komodo National Park, South Sulawesi and Wakatobi. With only 3 cabins on board to cater to a maximum of 6 guests, the Duyung Baru Liveaboard offers a personalised and intimate trip. Each tastefully decorated cabin has air-conditioning and a private en-suite bathroom. Guests can relax on comfortable sun loungers on the sun deck, or in the salon/dining area. The heart of the Duyung Baru lies in the ‘Yannies Kitchen’, where fresh food is being prepared all day. With an Indonesian theme and hints of western flavours, hungry guests can enjoy freshly prepared meals and snacks throughout the day.
The dive deck offers plenty of space for gear storage and kitting up. The experienced and knowledgeable dive guides of the Duyung Baru will delight in showing divers the underwater treasures in this diverse region. From schools of Manta Rays and sharks in Komodo National Park, to cool critters in the untouched waters of Wakatobi, where nearly 1000 fish species have been recorded.

A great time in great places!
The Mandarin Fish dives, the dolphins, and the Spanish Dancers just scratched the surface of the great diving we had on this trip. Yani and her cooking were outstanding, and I would love to join them again for another adventure!

Mantas, sharks, turtles, the awesome boat, amazing crew and the food was just great. We also had the chance to see the komodo dragons and had a great sunset from the top of a hill. The tour was just perfect and had a good variety of adventures for us.
