Highlights
The Ocean Lovers is a 45-meter/148-foot-long liveaboard with 5 decks taking 32 guests on dive safaris in the Red Sea. There are 10 double cabins and 6 suites with views, all air-conditioned and equipped with private showers and toilets. The saloon and dining area on the main deck is perfect for relaxing. Entertainment options include a 65-inch LCD TV, a DVD player, and a sound system. In addition, the Ocean Lovers offers free Wi-Fi throughout the ship as long as a mobile signal is available. The Ocean Lover's 2 sun decks are spacious, with sun loungers, lazy bags, hammock swing chairs, and a hammock swing. Ideal for relaxing between dives, reading a book, or enjoying the sunset. Part of the sun deck is shaded, so guests always have a choice of whether they prefer the sun or protection from the heat.
The Ocean Lovers offers the chance to explore the famous Red Sea wrecks and reefs, including the Tiran diving area, composed of four main reefs that form an underwater bridge near the Gulf of Aqaba. Named after British cartographers (Jackson, Woodhouse, Thomas, and Gordon), these reefs are famous for their coral life and large pelagic fish. Expect a combination of wreck and reef diving, with the Northern Red Sea boasting impressive wrecks like the SS Thistlegorm. Other sites include Abu Nuhas, the "Ships Graveyard," and the Brothers Islands, with their thriving marine life and colorful corals. Anticipate encounters with reef sharks, eagle rays, oceanic white tip sharks, Napoleon fish, thresher sharks, hammerhead sharks, grey reef sharks, and more.

Great experience
Some memorable dives with excellent staff and a fantastic group of guest. We had the opportunity to swim with dolphins in the wild between dives, thanks to Alaa. Hammerheads, Thistlegorm and octopus were all very part of highlights. The food was excellent and plentiful. One area that needs improvement is to have more dive guides. Two guide for 18 divers is a bit tight.

Exceeded Expectations
It was my first liveaboard and I wasn't quite sure what to expect but I knew my expectations for the food on board was low. Ocean Lovers served amazing meals everyday and they were all made out of fresh ingredients and tasted very delicious and satisfying! The crews were above and beyond trying to make us feel welcomed and comfortable on the boat. The boat itself is very well maintained and well cleaned! Nice interior. My favorite dive guide was Karim, he was very patient with all divers on board with varying diving skills. Ocean Lovers definitely set up a really high standard for my next liveaboard adventures.

La comida fue fantástica. Los guías muy atentos, profesionales y buscando el mayor disfrute posible de los buceadores. La tripulación igualmente muy atenta y amable. En cuanto a las inmersiones, espectaculares, fondos llenos de vida, si bien es cierto que no creo que difiera de otros cruceros puesto que los puntos de inmersión son los que son.

La experiencia ha sido muy buena. Hay que entender que es un buceo de safari, respetuoso, donde no se ceba animales para que aparezcan. Así que la naturaleza es caprichosa y no hemos visto todos los tiburones que nos hubiera gustado. El personal es muy atento y acogedor. Tiene muchas inmersiones en el azul esperando el paso de grandes pelágicos. Hubo un problema con el Transfer del primer día, y estuvimos varias horas esperando la recogida. La comida es buena, bien preparada y muy abundante, pero más de medio pasaje tuvo problemas gástricos que comenzaron allí.

Awesome week with Ocean Lovers
This was first real liveaboard. The boat is excellent and the crew and guides, first class. Very professional, but friendly team with a great sense of humour. The diving was great too with hammerheads, Mantas, and lots more. Special recognition to Suliman who is one of the best guides I have met in several years and Mohammed for his constant smile! I would thoroughly recommend a trip with Ocean Lovers.

Great experience in the Red Sea
Seeing the hammerheads in Big Brother and Little Brother was an amazing experience! Also the Salem Express dive was very exciting and interesting.

The best liveaboard experience I could imagine!
This was my first liveaboard experience and the bar has definitely been set high! The crew onboard are so attentive, friendly and helpful. They love their job and really made the experience for me. They go above and beyond to look after you and you can tell they really love their job. Tamer, who ran the meal service was my hero! I’m vegan and he made sure I had plenty to eat, often bringing me specially prepared options from the chef, Mustafa. The food was delicious and plenty of options to choose from too. Moman was great as well, willing to help with anything I needed. I was sick one morning and he offered to bring me a plate of breakfast to my room, which was kind! The dive guide Karim was great and gave me some tips to help improve my diving skills, which I really appreciated! Damosh was also great! A really happy and energetic character. Always smiling and up for a laugh! The boat is beautiful! Really spacious, comfy and modern. The view of the sea from my room was breathtaking. The rooms also have air-con and are cleaned regularly. We didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub, but managed to do lots of relaxing in the sun between dives. The diving itself was spectacular!! I saw dolphins, turtles, moray eels, octopus and hundreds of fish. The Red Sea really is one of the best places in the world for diving! Ras Mohamed was definitely a highlight and not like anything I’d seen before. I would’ve liked to of had a couple more dives there. The wrecks were brilliant too, especially on the night dives. Every dive started with a thorough briefing, which was helpful! The WiFi onboard is a bit hit and miss, depending on the location of the boat. So next time, I’ll definitely buy an Egyptian SIM card at the airport, as a back up. My only constructive feedback would be to have a map or list of the dives we do each day, to make filling out our logbooks easier. Unless you write them down during the pre-dive briefing, it’s easier to forget! Otherwise, I have no complaints and will definitely be booking another trip with Ocean Lovers again in the near future!

Amazing trip!
Our trip was simply amazing! The comfort of the boat: cabins, sundeck, lounge were so comfortable and even the boat was packed, there was so much space to sit, chill and relax between the dives. Also the dive deck was large enough for everyone! Dive guides and even more the crew did everything to make our lives as easy as possible, both during and between the dives.. Goes without saying that the dive sites were awesome, with the 3 dives at the thislegorm the highlight of the trip. There is not much what could be done better, but if I have to name something then that I missed fresh coffee on board. Drinking this instant "coffee" for 7 days was torture for an coffee addict like myself. Would definately recommend the boat and hope to come back one day!

Amazing trip aboard the Ocean Lovers.
Excellent trip. The staff made us feel confortable, just like home aboard the Ocean Lovers. That is our highlight! Obviously, diving was great and the dive guides are always there to attend our needs. Definately recommend them. Already planning a group for 2026!
