Join the Discovery II liveaboard for a dive trip to remember in the Red Sea. Completely renovated in 2018, she offers bright, modern living space for up to 22 divers in 11 cabins. There are 6 standard cabins with twin side-by-side beds on the lower deck along with 1 Honeymoon Suite, and a further 4 Honeymoon Suites are on the upper deck. All cabins feature ensuite bathrooms, AC, and storage space, and the Honeymoon Suites are also fitted with a minibar, entertainment system, and large beds. On the main are an airconditioned bright and modern dining room and salon. The upper deck is home to the outdoor lounge and bar area, the perfect place to mingle and swap fish tales at the end of the day. The top deck has a large partially shaded sun deck with loungers.
Itineraries aboard the Discovery II are generally 7 nights, and visit the best dive areas in Egypt. Red Sea diving is available year-round, and dive areas visited include the Straits of Tiran, Brothers, Ras Mohammed, Thistlegorm, Abu Nuhas, Brothers, Daedalus & Elphinstone. The large dive deck at the back of the boat make gearing up easy, and 2 dive tenders are on hand for dive site drop off and pick up. Nitrox is also available for those certified.

Tolle Crew, super Safari, einfach eine perfekte Woche!
Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche mit tollen Taucherlebnissen und einer guten Zeit an Board. Es ist bemerkenswert, was man in einer so kleinen Boardküche an köstlichen Gerichten zaubern kann! Die Crew war jederzeit bemüht die Zeit am Boot und während den Tauchgängen so angenehm und erlebnisreich wie möglich zu gestalten, mit viel Freundlichkeit und Humor. Würden wir definitiv genau so wieder buchen!

Décevante, promesse non tenue.
Quelles déception par rapport à la promesse annoncée sur le site: - les photos ne correspondent vraiment pas à la réalité, le bateau est beaucoup plus abîmé, les salles de bains des cabines inférieures vétustes (robinetterie rouillée, cassée, défectueuses),... - 19 plongées annoncées, 17 de faites - très peu de collations entre les plongées (+/- 1 jour sur 2) - 10 plongées minimum requises (et donc peut d'expérience exigée) mais très peu (voir aucun) encadrement / conseils / explications / aides des "débutants". - seulement 2 guides de plongée pour 22 participants (conforme à la loi égyptienne mais nettement insuffisant pour encadrer correctement des débutants) ce qui crée une frustration (voire inquiétudes) chez les plongeurs non expérimentés et une frustration des plongeurs expérimentés d'être logés à la même enseigne que les autres. Toutes ces frustration ont fortement impacté l'ambiance générale à bord, dommage. Ensuite, les plongées ont été un peu décevantes et nous avons quelques fois été "lâchés" au mauvais endroit. De plus, nous avons eu du matériel de plongée défectueux qui aurait pu avoir des conséquences graves: manomètre qui indique encore 50 bars alors que la bombonne est complètement vide! Heureusement, le guide a très bien géré la situation et je me suis sentie en sécurité mais c'était plutôt flippant de se retrouver sans air sous l'eau... Enfin, le concept de la croisière en mer et pouvoir plonger directement depuis le bateau fut une super découverte et une magnifique expérience mais malheureusement, la croisière n'était pas du tout à la hauteur de nos espérances. Au moins, on retiendra la leçon et on sait maintenant quels critères prendre en considération au moment de la réservation.

geweldige crew en gidsen voor een geweldige ervaring
Mooie boottocht. Gidsen doen hun best om haaien te zien maar houden zich zeer strikt aan veiligheidsregels en aan respect voor hun koraalrif.

Of het nu in het begin is, tijdens of het allerlaatste moment van de reis nadat alles reeds betaald is, ze blijven hun best doen. Het eten was ook echt de moeite. We hadden extra eten en drinken mee maar deze hebben we nauwelijks aangeraakt.

Es war einfach nur atemberaubend und spektakulär!!!
Die Crew war toll, das Essen einfach wirklich super lecker, das Schiff und der Kapität sehr souverän und toll, die Tachplätze wunderbar! Alles einfach nur perfekt!!!

Tauchsafari war durchorganisiert und ein tolles Erlebnis - jederzeit wieder !!!
Eindeutig die Hammerhaie und die wunderschönen Farben der Korallen. Crew und Guides super motiviert und gut drauf. Topverlass auf den Kapitän - er hat das Schiff perfekt im Griff !!
