With 5 air-conditioned cabins with en-suite bathrooms, the Moana Liveaboard caters to 10 divers, ensuring small groups and personal attention. On the upper deck of the KLM Moana Liveaboard is an air-conditioned salon and a large deck area to relax in between diving. Blankets are also available for outdoor lovers who want to sleep outside under the stars. The KLM Moana takes pride in the cuisine offered, and the food is sourced fresh. The fruit and vegetables are from organic farmers around the hills of Labuan Bajo/Flores, and the fish is fresh from local markets. Top-quality meat is flown in from Bali on departure days, and the KLM Moana chefs pride themselves on meals being free from MSG and other additives.
The KLM Moana Liveaboard was custom-built for divers and will take you to the best of the Komodo National Park and some unknown and pristine dive sites. Around Komodo, there are over 50 sites to choose from and have areas to suit every level of experience, whether you have just completed your Open Water course or have years of challenging dives behind you.

Just perfect
Just finished a week aboard Moana. Absolutely perfect. Mario and crew are absolute pros; they know the sites, know the weather and really take care of the guests. Excellent food, a/c in the rooms. We can't wait to go on another trip with Moana.

Fantastic experience on board Moana
Just finished trip on board Moana and had an amazing time. The boat is beautiful and with only 10 guests, is very relaxed. The daily schedule is amended based on the changing currents and conditions to ensure every dive is fun, with so much life to see. The guides are great at spotting all the small things! As vegetarian food can be low point for me on liveaboards but here I was treated to great variety of tasty meals, similar to rest of the guests. Would highly recommend taking a trip on the Moana in Komodo!

Wonderful cruise around Komodo
The cruise was just perfect. Everything well organized, we dived in amazing spots (beautiful coral gardens, a lot of marine life, reef sharks, turtles, mantas, stingrays, snakes). The crew was extremely friendly and helpful, and very familiar with the region. In most of the spots we were alone, no other boats. Moana boat is very comfortable, with a lot of space to chill out. The food is delicious.

Great Trip
Everything was great. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Mel and Lucas, and the entire crew were great. Food is delightful - no Bali belly to worry about here. The people, boat, diving, and islands were all fantastic. Nicely done would recommend.

Wonderful experience, amazing crew that made us feel pampered and spoiled.
Mantas, abundant sea life, healthy corals, nice scenery everywhere, and the food was amazing everyday, to to extent of calling it gourmet. Mario runs a very good crew, everyone was friendly and seemed happy to be working on Moana. There are many options for liveboards out there, but going with Moana was the right choice for us, and will recommend it to others. Also the staff at liveaboard.com has been extremely helpful and supportive throughout the whole process. Thanks to all of you for answering our many, many questions, and for being so helpful! Olivia

Nice cruise in the nice atmosphere on the beautiful sites
Good visibility, the water between 28° and 30°. The sites are beautiful. I loved Batu Bolong and Tatawa Kecil. The guides are very professional and friendly. Good mix of safety and fun.

Excellent scuba trip on the Moana
We enjoyed a six-day scuba trip on Moana in Sep 2024. Highlights were Mantas, shark, rich fish life, current, and healthy corals. Many delicious Indonesian meals. The crew took excellent care of us both below and above water.

Flawless experience aboard Moana
The diversity in Komodo must be seen to be believed. Moana is the perfect boat for the experience, because Mario and the crew leverage their 15+ years of experience diving locally to create an itinerary that perfectly combines the tides, currents, crowds, etc., making each dive spectacular. I'm planning to go back and do the trip again, aboard Moana.
