The 32m M/V Ambai liveaboard schedules year-round diving cruises to the amazing bio-diverse areas of Halmahera, Triton Bay, Banda Sea, The Forgotten Islands, and Raja Ampat. An experienced crew of 16 is on hand to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction both in and out of the water. Ambai can accommodate up to 16 guests in 8 deluxe cabins. Each cabin features individual climate control and a private bathroom with a shower. Guests can relax in the air-conditioned lounge, on the shadow deck, and on the sun deck. Dive amenities onboard Ambai include a large dive deck, three dive tenders, Nitrox, and 4 dive guides. Great liveaboard
Great diving - macro, mantas, something for everyone. Expert dive guides and super helpful crew. Delicious food, very comfortable cabins, nice space to relax onboard. Fun excursions to see more of Raja Ampat.

A very well managed trip in one of the best dive locations in the world.
The dive sites were varied and amazing. The dive experience was very well managed and the crew took on the heavy work of moving gear to and from the diving skiff. There was always a support boat in the vicinity of the dive site which speaks to the crews focus on safety and support.

Amazing experience 10/10
I had the pleasure of doing a 13 day trip covering South Raja and Triton Bay. Everything was smoothly organised and ran well from the cruise director, the dive leads, chefs and support staff. The dive sites themselves were incredible and the dive leads were great at pointing out macro subjects. Just a superb experience.

Spectacular
Absolutely spectacular. The crew was very attentive, and hour-to-hour itinerary was well planned. Wake up at 7, dive, nap, breakfast, dive again, lunch, nap, dive, nap, night dive, dinner, repeat. I liked the camera room (fully stocked with batteries and extra gear) and the plan of getting to the dive sites. It was overall very efficient, and the dive guides are great. I would definitely take the Ambai again.

Amazing combination trip around Indonesia
Amazing crew, very friendly and helpful. Dive without nobody around in Halamera is delighted. Raja Ampat never disappointed with mantas and sharks. Muk diving in Ambon is mind blogging.

Excellent Liveaboard !!!
Definitely worth taking the big tour going to Misool and Raja Ampat north.Shadow Reef is a must !!! Lots of variety in the diving sites. Excellent staff and good guides. Ambai is a nice boat, very well rigged for diving and comfort. Diving deck (in the shade) and 2 relaxing decks with sofas and bean bags. Very good food as well, and in quantity. Thanks to Akim, the competent cruise director, the atmosphere is relaxed, yet very rigorous in safety and very efficient in the way diving is organized. On our trip, the majority of the customers were French. Thanks to Liveaboard as well, who traded this trip for us very professionally.
