The 32m M/V Ambai liveaboard schedules year-round diving cruises to the amazing bio-diverse areas of Halmahera, Triton Bay, Banda Sea, The Forgotten Islands, and Raja Ampat. An experienced crew of 16 is on hand to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction both in and out of the water. Ambai can accommodate up to 16 guests in 8 deluxe cabins. Each cabin features individual climate control and a private bathroom with a shower. Guests can relax in the air-conditioned lounge, on the shadow deck, and on the sun deck. Each offers stylish, comfortable seating and serene surroundings.
Dive amenities onboard Ambai include a large dive deck, three dive tenders, Nitrox, and 4 dive guides. Ambai takes pride in offering hassle-free diving, and the staff will assist scuba divers to guarantee a successful diving safari. Underwater photographers will also be thrilled with the dedicated camera room. Share photos and videos of the day’s spectacular dives on a large screen in the lounge. Great diving - macro, mantas, something for everyone. Expert dive guides and super helpful crew. Delicious food, very comfortable cabins, nice space to relax onboard. Fun excursions to see more of Raja Ampat.

Amazing experience 10/10
I had the pleasure of doing a 13 day trip covering South Raja and Triton Bay. Everything was smoothly organised and ran well from the cruise director, the dive leads, chefs and support staff. The dive sites themselves were incredible and the dive leads were great at pointing out macro subjects. Just a superb experience.

Wonderful diving. Best crew ever.
Nice ship, very clean and confortable. Everything was perfectly organized. Marco (the dive cruise director) and all the crew were awesome, working hard 24/7 just to keep us happy and very friendly with us. Very good dives, beautiful coral gardens. Crew always keeping an eye on you, everything was always rechecked and seems to feel more safe. Food was nice. I would book again with Ambai for sure.

The Ambai really took good care of their guests & really made it a memorable trip to RJ.
Diving in Raja Ampat (of course!), hiking to some look out points and the beautiful beach BBQ the crew prepared for New Year.

Great vessel & crew to support an incredible experience
The Ambai was perfect for 11 nights around Raja Ampat. Comfortable boat, spacious enough with great area for lounging in the sun. Decent healthy food, awesome friendly crew. Honestly I'm sure you could pay way more for some extra little luxuries but I found the Ambai delivered on expectations and I didn't want for anything, except maybe to upgrade the choice of whisky on offer (recommend JW Black Label or something.) Compared to the other options I feel like this was good value for money and a wonderful experience.
