The 32m M/V Ambai liveaboard schedules year-round diving cruises to the amazing bio-diverse areas of Halmahera, Triton Bay, Banda Sea, The Forgotten Islands, and Raja Ampat. An experienced crew of 16 is on hand to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction both in and out of the water. Ambai can accommodate up to 16 guests in 8 deluxe cabins. Each cabin features individual climate control and a private bathroom with a shower. Guests can relax in the air-conditioned lounge, on the shadow deck, and on the sun deck. Dive amenities onboard Ambai include a large dive deck, three dive tenders, Nitrox, and 4 dive guides. Comfortable, friendly experience.
Well designed boat, very helpful crew. Dive master very good, dive guides very young, some pay attention to divers, others just lead away expect you to keep up, which is fine until you hit a big current.

The Ambai really took good care of their guests & really made it a memorable trip to RJ.
Diving in Raja Ampat (of course!), hiking to some look out points and the beautiful beach BBQ the crew prepared for New Year.

Probably the best diving overall in my 30 years of diving.
Diving in a huge ball of fish as Mobula Rays darted in and out feeding. The incredibly beautiful soft corals. The sheer volume of marine life.

It was worth every hour spent on the plane ride to experience all that Ambai had to offer.
The cruise director bent over backwards to accomodate my groups needs. My two sons needed some special attention to be properly prepared for the diving conditions. He helped then get their nitrox and advanced certifications in a manner where they had fun while learning. The currents presented challenges but the guides helped in every respect so we felt safe & prepared for each dive.

The diving is amazing, the visit to the cave and the Wayag humbeling, the space of the cabin and common areas luxurious, but most of all the hospitality of Jerome and the crew is unforgettable!
