Highlights
The Bunmee 4 is a 29-meter/95-foot-long liveaboard in Thailand taking 20 guests in 10 cabins divided into two categories: 8 double or twin cabins on the main deck, with private shower and toilet, and 2 double or twin cabins on the upper deck, sharing a shower and toilet located on the main deck. All cabins are equipped with individual air conditioning. Cabins are cleaned daily, and towels are changed regularly. The upper deck has a dining area, a mini-bar, video and multimedia space, and an observation zone at the bow. A spacious half-shaded sundeck above the upper deck offers a location for relaxing during the day and stargazing at night.
Entertainment and education are integral to the voyage, with a dive library, games, music, and video screenings available onboard. Meal time brings an array of Asian flavors, with à la carte breakfasts, buffet-style lunches, and dinners. The menu includes Thai specialties abundant in fresh seafood, crustaceans, fish, vegetables, and local fruits. The dive deck on the main deck's rear is highly convenient, with ample space for equipment setup, and the dive platform is optimized for swift entries and exits via two ladders. A dinghy remains on standby for safety during drift dives and water exits while also providing access to islands and beaches when feasible.

Peaceful, quiet, and wonderful liveaboard trip
Overall the South Andaman is much better than North Andaman (Similan, Richelieu) - much less crowded, and wider variety of dive sites. There are plenty of dive sites with small caves or wrecks, and almost with no other people as well. The dive briefings with drawings of the dive sites are also a highlight, giving us a clear idea of what we should expect under the water.

Well Organised - Very Efficient - Great Diving
I was very impressed with the Organisational Skills of the Bunmee 4 Team (especially the Dive Director Marien) This was further demonstrated at the Welcome meeting, whereby everyone was made to feel welcome and were given full details of the planned activities for the coming days. The most important aspect was the adherence to good diving practices No Decompression Dives Respect for the Reefs Respect for Fellow Divers Respect for the Crew of Bunmee 4

Awesome trip overall but boat needs repairs.
The crew set the tone for the trip - they were high energy, responsive, and kind. The food was amazing, the chefs came up with creative dishes each day that made meals something to look forward to. I saw the boat staff buy fresh fish from a nearby fishing vessel, the chef seasoned it really well and we had it that night for dinner - it was delicious. The only negative on this trip was that on the first night, we were given a room (room 6) with very loud creaking/rattling noises inside the wall. I could hear it through my earplugs and it was rough. We were unable to sleep the entire night and I had to sleep on the open deck. Because of the lack of sleep, diving four times the next day was a real struggle. The staff found another room for us the next day. It still had some rattling noises but it wasn't as loud, and we were able to sleep better. I love the crew and the people working on the boat. But that first night was really rough. I hope they fix it!

Just Fabulous
I loved everything about this trip. Firstly 16 divers only so more of a personal experience. The boat crew were just fabulous. From the captain to the dive deck crew … there was 100% attention to diver safety and comfort. Dive briefings were detailed and dive groups focussed on diver skills. Food was plentiful and delicious. Cabins were comfortable. Would I do it again ? In a heartbeat

Overall it was on of my best diving for the past 15 years of my diving, I felt myself amazing.
I recently had the pleasure of diving with the Andaman Scuba Dive Center, and it was an unforgettable experience. We explored stunning dive sites filled with vibrant coral reefs and were surrounded by incredible schools of fish—it felt like stepping into an underwater paradise. The crew went above and beyond to ensure the best experience possible. They were all incredibly kind, attentive, and highly professional. The food onboard was sensational, offering both Thai and continental dishes with fresh fruits at every meal.
