Highlights
Join the All Star Blackbeard's Sea Explorer to dive into the crystal-clear waters of the Bahamas. Perfect for single travelers on a budget, the All Star Blackbeard's Sea Explorer, the identical twin sister of All Star Blackbeard's Morning Star, a member of the All Star Liveaboards Fleet, offers 3 dormitory-style cabin areas with 18 bunks and 3 shared bathrooms. Each cabin area has AC, and all are sectioned off with privacy curtains, similar to a sleeper cabin on a train. There is a choice of double or single bunks. Buffet meals with picnic-style dining are served in the air-conditioned salon, and all meals, snacks, and drinks, including beer, wine, and rum punch, are included during your stay.
All Star Blackbeard's Sea Explorer trips include diving with sharks, exhilarating drift diving, beautiful walls, and blue holes around the Exuma Cays. There is no set itinerary aboard the All Star Blackbeard's Sea Explorer; the captain and crew will take the boat where the conditions and weather are best. Plenty of non-diving activities are on offer, so your time above the water will be just as memorable as below.
Book online to reserve your space aboard All Star Blackbeard's Sea Explorer.
Please note: All Star Blackbear's Morning Star and All Star Blackbeard's Sea Explorer are identical twin ships and may be used interchangeably. While we can take requests for specific bunks, they are not guaranteed, and the rate is per person, not per bunk.
This boat is part of the All Star Liveaboards fleet.

Great value for the money liveaboard with excellent crew, instructors, food and briefings
This was a great overall liveaboard experience. The crew was excellent, helpful, empathetic and very professional and they delivered some of the best briefings I ever had. The fact that they actvely tried to prepare you to be a better diver is an extra that I had never had before and will look for from now on. The food on the sea explorer was some of the best I had in Nassau. You'll see this in many reviews and trust me, it is a highlight. There's also downsides that you need to be ready for: the Sea Explorer is a 2-level sailboat so the "living" space is limited. We spent most of the trip on the top deck, the weather was fantastic, and sharing stories with the crew and rest of the divers. The cabins are shared and they are bunk beds. Also the "storage space" is extremely limited so be ready to limit the amount of clothes you'll pack (you'll be on vacation on a boat, you will not need so much :) ). The crew also organized some "side activities" to enjoy the Bahamas while strictly keeping the 4-dives-a-day schedule. Great value for the money.

The diving, food and people were all amazing! I would recommend Blackbeards to anyone.
It was my first time on a liveaboard and I loved it! The staff and other passengers were great, and the shark diving was absolutely incredible. The blue hole was the coolest dive site I’ve ever done.

First time diving leading to a life changing experience
My first time diving after getting certified at a lake! An easy, yet exciting destination if you've done well with the basics. It was an awesome adventure, I learned a lot about myself and what I wanted out of life. Had amazing memories with the most interesting and kind people. Saw insane wildlife that I thought I'd never see in my life. It was surreal at times. I got AOW certified by Candela Ferrara and she was a great teacher, I felt like I really improved my buoyancy because of her. I can't wait for another journey like this. I'll be going on one again soon!

Don't wait BOOK IT now!
This was the dive trip I've needed for a long time! Capt. Steven ran a tight ship and put us on the best dive sites available. The DM/instructors Ty and Kristen were friendly, knowledgeable, and took time to make sure you were comfortable in the water. Between dives, Chief Chris kept us fed with amazing meals and snacks from around the world. His meals were thoughtfully planned and he was able to accommodate everyone's dietary requirements without sacrificing flavor. Last but not least, our engineer Olivia kept every aspect of the floating city running in tip top shape. My fellow guests were from across the globe. Each was friendly and welcoming. The comradely we felt by the end of the trip worth ticket price alone. I can't wait to come back and experience the amazing diving, incredible crew hospitality, and friendly guests.

The best trip of my life.
This was my first Liveaboard, and the promise was delivered and exceeded! It was an amazing experience. Made so many new friends and can't wait to go back again! The crew was fantastic. The one thing I would suggest is to have guides for the dives, especially in the dives where you are supposed to find dive thrus. This would enhance the experience, not everybody excels at navigation skills, and some ended up missing the best parts in some of the dives. Definitely, I'll go back soon.

Time of my life, I will be returning. Thank you Cpt. Chris!!
The crew were phenomenal at their jobs above and below the water (Annie's smile lights up the room and shes so knowledgeable, Barry is so kind and a great dive instructor, Carson's laugh was contagious, Eli is filled with such positive energy and always willing to help out, Gunnar toiled away tirelessly in the gally making unbelievably delicous food every day, and Cpt. Chris is a salty dog with a heart of gold who made us all feel at ease). All of the crew were very approachable and they all tell great stories, the food was spectacular (thank you Gunnar), the music was on point setting the mood at every time of day, the epic dive sites were well chosen and incredibly fun and easy to dive, the accommodation are close to what you'd expect from a hostle but way better (bunk beds, small/medium size shared dining room/kitchen/lounge inside, open deck for socializing and music and relaxation, delicious rum punch nightly and even a beer tap and wine options), the cleanliness was immaculate and the ship was well maintained. Did I mention that all inside rooms have air conditioning?

An unparalelled way to dive The Bahamas
It was amazing to get away from it all with nothing to do but the sport I love on a boat staffed and filled with people who share that passion. Could not imaging a more perfect way to spend a week. Great photos, videos and memories. The food was even better than expected, always hot and ready. The staff was responsive and accommodating and even made sure that the last night on land was memorable. Will definitely recommend and return.

Impossible to get more on a trip!
The crew on Blackbeards Sea Explorer were phenomenal! Brian did great briefings. Iain took us to amazing spots with our safety always in mind. Justing gave us the VIP treatment with great stories, Elayna was a joy to be around, and Chris was a blast and worked hard to keep everything running. Also, Gladys cooked amazing food and was a ton of fun to be around! Only thing I could recommend in the future would be a Margarita machine but that's it. Can't wait to come back!
