Highlights
The Galapagos Sky yacht was built with divers needs in mind to offer year-round world-class diving in the Galapagos Islands. The luxury yacht has been offering dive liveaboard trips in the Galapagos since 2001, and the captain and crew are some of the most experienced in the region. Onboard, 16 passengers are catered to in eight private en-suite guest cabins, each one with two twin or one king-size bed, wardrobe, mirrored cabinet and marine-safe toiletries. The Galapagos Sky liveaboard is fully air-conditioned throughout and offers ample space for rest and relaxation. The main salon features an audio/video entertainment centre and there is a separate dining area where Ecuadorian and international cuisine is served. Dining service is ‘fine’ plated and beverages, including beer and wine with dinner, are included. The top deck is home to loungers for relaxing in between dives or star-gazing in the evening.
Galapagos dive itineraries are 7-nights long and include up to 19 dives - weather dependent. Dives at Wolf and Darwin are the highlight of the trip and 3 days will be spent here with the chance to see whale sharks, mantas and schooling hammerhead sharks. There are also land excursions included to truly experience everything the Galapagos Islands have to offer. The dive deck has warm fresh-water showers and hot towels are offered after every dive. Diving from tenders makes getting to and from the dive site hassle-free.

Amazing
This trip was a wonderful experience from an awesome crew that took care of all our needs by going well above was is expected from a crew and dive guides.

The crew was just amazing
Nature provided warmer than usual waters, not bery strong currents, so visibility was affected and some of the pelagics and animals were hard to see. Still it was amazing and probably my best trip so far, diving with hammer head sharks, lots of tortules, sea lions and fish. The dive with the marine iguanas is so unique that it blew my mind. And all with the best service ever, with people that were always one step ahead and made our experience very enjoyable.

A truely fabulous dive experience!
The crew were fantastic and really looked after you above and below the water. Their safety was excellent, which was reassuring considering how challenging the diving was. We saw loads of hammerheads, about six whale-sharks, an enormous tiger shark (up close and personal!), sea lions, dolphins.....the list goes on. The wildlife was awesome, but the diving is extremely challenging at times with absolutely incredible currents-onlyfor experienced, confident divers.

The Galapagos Islands lives up to it's reputation for pristine beauty and is teeming with life!!
The Islands are teeming with life, more than I've seen anywhere else in the world. After about the fiftieth turtle sighting in the first 5 dives I stopped taking pics and just tried to enjoy the experience for future memories. The hammerheads were as the pictures in the brochures and they just kept on coming. There were many onboard that have tried to see whale sharks at other world hotspots for whale sharks, but up to this trip were unsuccessful. Although at the end of the sighting season our two groups actually saw whale sharks five out of seven dives at Darwin Island. Other than these examples the Island were just bursting with life of other kinds, Sea Lions, Giant Green Morrey Eels, Boobies, Penguins, Iguanas, Dolphins, other species of Galapagos resident sharks all stood up to be counted. Mola molas, and just millions of fish, Jacks, Rays all just seemed to be there to be seen and to be check off on your ultimate dive trip checklist, the checklist was almost complete except for the great Manta Ray. The Islands were "all that!" The Galapagos Sky is a very nice old girl who is very nicely maintained and well equipped for it's role as an ambassador of the region, however she is a little tired, having made uncountable numbers of open ocean crossings to reach the farrest reaches of the island chain in often extreme weather conditions. The crew is very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, and never did any of the crew ever fall short on effort to try to please the passengers. This was a very good crew however the crew was much larger with ten crew members than other motor yachts of similar size that I have been on recently. The only setback was the cost of the trip was considerably more than any other popular liveaboard destination out there and was more than double the cost of either of my two other 2018 dive destinations. Everything is remote so I guess you can justify the high cost to provide a quality product. With relatively little competition out there the Sky cost more than all other Galapagos destination providers, but after all is said and done I have had very little dislike about this trip other than the cost so I guess I will just have to dig just a little deeper into my pockets if I would ever want to return and I probally would like to return one day.
