A Very Special Experience
We had a great time aboard the Almonda. From the airport pickup to the drop-off, we felt we were in good hands. As there were few of us on the boat, we all had private cabins, an unexpected treat. We arrived late and the next day was an early one, so most of us were tired but glad to get into the tropical waters. The early morning dives were wonderful, a great way to start the day and the best possibility of seeing big fish. The dive director was well experienced from around the world so a source of excellence and knowledge. The food was good, not the best I've had but satisfying. The crew bent over backwards to consider special requests. We did not see any other boats or divers the entire trip, which made it very unique.

Great alternative in the Red Sea to the usual Egyptian places. Very quiet and relaxing being the only boat for a week.
Very nice being the only boat from Saudi in the Red Sea so you just see no-one else for a week. The diving was great, reefs generally in pretty good condition (albeit with a LOT of fishing wires) and we saw hammerheads and grey reef sharks (amongst the usual Red Sea wildlife).

A magnificent liveaboard
The dive guide worked hard to get us to see a lot of life on the dives and they were long dives. The staff were very friendly, they made us have a very good week. Beautiful dives with areas of well-preserved coral and lots of life.

Super reefs
Everything about the trip exceeded expectations. The reef diving was excellent, and devoid of the usual features associated with overdiving.

- Professional, safety focused guides and crew.. Excellent and varied reef diving. Also lovely Wreck,Iona.. As no other liveaboard or dayboats at the dive sites, the sites were quiet, with undisturbed life..

Great food, nice boat, great staff and good guides
Anemoon reef (Five Corals) which is a nemo-paradise with walls full with anemons. Great divespot! Hamerheads up close. Relaxed diving with water temp of 30 degrees (08-23). The food is great. The staff really helpfull. Good value for money as snacks and drinks (non alcoholic) are provided. We could not go to 7 sisters. But 5 corals was really good.

The trip restored my interest and confidence in Red Sea diving; none of the crowds that characterise diving in Egyptian waters.
The trip was excellent, for the reasons outlined. Although Saudi is more difficult to get to than Egypt, it was definitely worth the extra effort
