The crew made my first time live aboard experience a great one.
It was my first live aboard experience and because of the good time and the great service from the crew it will not be my last.

- The service from the crew was first class, the food was excellent and the boat was great to dive from
Great food, mediocre diving, and yet a truly blissful vacation.
Overall it was a good trip, the staff were cordial but not overly friendly or prone to take an interest in guests, the diving was ok, it was very repetitive and little novelty in terms of what we saw from one site to the next. The food was very good and plentiful.

Couldn't have asked for a better first liveaboard.
-Captain + company were hilarious -Nitrox + night diving -Safe environment for me to take my buddy (pretty new diver) -Prepping and cleaning up gear was SUPER easy. Cabin Comfort - only thing that was uncomfortable was the difference in temperature between top and bottom bunks. It ended up being too cold on bottom or a little warm up top. Value for money - we lost a day of diving due to the weather. Otherwise, great.

Hurricane delayed dive trip
My wife and I just returned from our first live aboard dive trip and our conclusion was, awesome. This is one of the few dive operations i have seen that put safety first and foremost so evident by the Captain's decision to stay in port. We were delayed two days from leaving port due to high winds and rough sea state. The captain assessed the situation daily with safety number one, kept us informed, and made the most of poor weather. Island tours were provided by the crew for the guests which were very informative and enjoyable. When we finally were able to get underway diving became the focus. We went to as many sites as we could in the given time frame. Dived the Kittywake, fed stingrays, and saw abundant sea life. When guest equipment problems happened the crew was attentive and solved problems efficiently so all could continue to dive. Food was top notch prepared by an excellent chef. During non-diving time crew and guest were sharing experiences and crew answered questions about Grand Cayman. All in all the trip was a success and a high light of our dive career. Several days after we returned home, to our surprise, Aggressor issued vouchers generously covering the missed days of diving. We have already booked a return trip to the Cayman Aggressor IV and looking forward to that trip.

Our experience was great food and Service with below average diving
-Poor weather with minimal dive locations -Crew was always concerned with safety and our enjoyment -wonderfully creative food menu -uncomfortable bed with top buck unsleepable -request for extra items response was immediate -intimacy of dining salon made for large family togetherness -hot shower on swim deck was awesome -Aubrie’s attention to detail was first rate -All crew worked non stop to make our stay memorable -extremely disappointed with not achieving advertised itinerary (little Cayman and Cayman Brac) -unfortunate chain of events on the last day because of commotion caused by new boat (Basically ignored most of Friday because crew was focused elsewhere) -despite all adversity we look forward to our next Aggressor Liveaboard (dates to be determined)

A decent week spent diving in the Grand Cayman Islands
The boat overall was in very good shape due to its most recent overhaul. The furniture and linens were almost brand new and that was nice since the majority of Aggressors I have been on have been well used and had weathered linens and towels. Little tweaks need to be made to get boat ship shape. The furniture was spartan and basic with many rough edges, but very adequate for Liveaboard use. The only serious flaw was that the beds in the standard cabins were about 1/4” too long and if the bed shifted at all the bed near the cabin door would obstruct the door from opening. If there was a emergency to reach occupants, this many be a serious problem. The crew worked well together and were quite cheerful and helpful at all times. In regards to the diving, although the Aggressor literature and information about this trip advised over 36 dive sites, we dove approximately 10 different sites, many we dove multiple times. The dive sites we dove and Grand Cayman in general had marvelous topography and decent coral growth, however large Pelagics were mostly absent. In 22 completed dives I saw only 1 medium sized Eagle Ray, 3 medium/large (8 foot) reef sharks, a small nurse shark (5 foot), and 1 medium sized green Morrey (5 foot). I believe it was due to the choice of dive sites. It was explained to me that the ability of most of the divers onboard eliminated the better dives sites such as the East End due to weather. Also the captain advised that the weather would be too rough to safely traverse to Cayman Brac And back, thus eliminating the Russian Destroyer (weather the entire week was calm, and the ocean was flat with no real winds or rain). Having dove limited sites, not sailing to Cayman Brac, and being moored 80% of the time I was surprised that the management still charged the fuel surcharge of USD $150.00. My review may sound rough, but all in all I had a mostly decent trip and had an enjoyable time onboard the Cayman Aggressor.
