M/V Andaman liveaboard is a 26mtr/85ft long steel-hulled vessel operating in beautiful Thailand. It has 6 cabins, all with air conditioning, and can accommodate up to 20 guests. Four of the cabins are double with two featuring their own ensuite bathrooms. The other two doubles and two dorm-style cabins use shared bathroom facilities. All cabins are located on the lower deck but feature sea-view windows in each one. The dive deck, where divers store gear and get ready for dives, is also located at the stern of the lower deck. On the middle deck is a spacious dining & meeting area, perfect for meals, dive briefings, and playing games. The upper deck has an open-air sun deck with mattresses and bean bags, perfect for relaxing in the sunshine. For those who prefer some shade, there is a shaded canopy with table and seating areas beneath.

Best boat food to date!
Absolutely phenomenal trip. I recommend people go even if it's not peak season because the diving is still great. The guides were amazing and the chef was absolutely unparalleled. The only thing I would recommend is maybe a little bit of a softer mattress because those are pretty hard. Hoping it'd be a return customer that's for sure!

the best break
this trip has truly been an amazing experience. the schedule was relaxed and comfortable while allowing us to still be able to see so much. the dive guides were so much fun, especially my instructor pang that made me laugh so hard even while I was underwater. it was so lovely to put any stress aside and just wake up, dive, eat, nap and repeat for the whole day. would definitely recommend this trip to anyone seeking time away from a hectic lifestyle.

It was an amazing trip. Definitely the best food made by P Oil, every meal or snack was delicious. The boat crew and our guide (P Ton) were so kind and helpful. There wasn't a thing left behind. We have experienced amazing diving thanks to the choosen dive sites and our guide whom perfectly knew where to bring us! (He made sure to avoid the crowded divers spots, which wasnt really a thing during the liveaboard anyways) We were lucky to see a manta ray and had the pleasure to dive privately along with the manta for full 5 minutes, thanks to P Ton asking us to drop our group on another spot

An all-round great exchange experience
It was 7 great days for me. The 22 dives were so well timed that I didn't feel completely exhausted even after 4 dives in one day. There was a lot to see under water, both very small shrimps or snails but also turtles, moray eels, large schools of fish and corals in all colors. The cook brought excellent dishes to the table, people with food intolerances were also taken care of, and of course there were also vegetarian and vegan dishes.Lydia as a supervisor was always friendly and contributed a lot to the good atmosphere on board. My two dive guides Charm and Nin ensured calm, relaxed dives and showed you again and again what there was to see. It was my first liveaboard and completely convinced me.

An unforgettable diving trip with many great dives
Thank you very much for this unforgettable diving tour with the M/S Andaman and SeaDragon Dive (Khao Lak). From check-in to check-out, everything was super professionally organized, so you can see that the tour participants can rely on the 20 years of experience at SeaDragon. The transport to the boat was comfortable, short and relaxed. The stay on the M/S Andaman was from the first moment vacation as I had imagined it. The cabins/bunks were clean and comfortable and there was enough space to store your things properly. A huge thank you also goes to the entire 6-person boat crew who kept everything clean at all times (especially the washing and shower areas). Likewise, they have always made sure that no wish remains unfulfilled, fruit, drinks, refrigerators, etc. were permanently replenished so that they could access them at any time. Every single dive was highly professional and with a lot of fun are briefed and carried out with a lot of humor. Here, too, the Boots crew came into action and helped out a lot on the dive deck. A special thank you also goes to Lucinda who, as tour supervisor, was able to answer all questions extremely professionally, had the entire tour process and also one or the other challenge under control at all times and was a great guide and buddy for me for many great dives. I would also like to thank Karlos and Jess as a dive guide and buddy for the dives they completed with them, it was incredibly fun. The passengers on board came from a wide variety of regions of the world such as Canada, Mauritius, Germany, UK, NL, Australia, Croatia, Sweden, India, the USA and Mexico. This variety of different people has also enriched the trip very much. All in all, I am super happy to have chosen exactly this tour and will definitely dive with SeaDragon in Khao Lak again. The tour is highly recommended and memorable. Thank you and see you next time. 🤿

Excellent value for money
High school class trip vibes, in a very good sense – just the right balance of professionalism, reasonable limits, and plenty of fun. Seamless organization, great divers, excellent boat and crew. The food and really affordable drink options on board are worth a special mention too. Also really lucky with the lack of early season crowds and nice weather. Dive sites are not all world class but it's been a nice build up to the absolute highlight: Richelieu Rock.

Great time, great value
We had a great time on board. The food was good, our dive instructor and crew were great, and the diving (especially Richelieu Rock) was amazing. The quarters were a bit cramped, but it encouraged everyone to go to the common area and interact, have fun with each other, and relax. In the future, improving the bedding could be one easy improvement that we thought would go a long way. The boat was very well-organized and had plenty planned to keep you busy most of the time - including beach trips, on-board BBQs, and board games. It's worth noting that although this listing says free internet, that's only if you have a cell phone with service -- there is no WiFi on-board. This isn't a "luxury" boat for sure, but if you want good diving, good staff, and a ton of fun, it's an amazing value -- my wife and I both considered our 3-day trip on the Andaman to be one of the best experiences of our 2-week Thailand vacation.

Incredibly fun experience with some great diving, great people and great food
I had an incredible time on the 4D 4N liveaboard on the MV Andaman. There are way too many positives and pretty much no negatives. Pros: 1) Amazing dive guides 2) Fun and friendly atmosphere on the boat 3) Very spacious boat with several spots to lounge around 4) Extremely helpful boat crew providing almost white-glove service 5) Delicious, large portions of food and free soft drinks! You aren’t left wanting for anything 6) Amazing diving. Sea Dragon is the oldest dive center in the area (30+ years) so know the sites like the back it their hand 7) Super inexpensive Cons: 1) You’d hate leaving the boat and feel the blues for several weeks afterwards :)

An exceptional experience from start to finish! The dives were absolutely beautiful, with varied sites and stunning marine life. Spent 11 day aboard the Andaman, which is actually three separate trips, 4 day, 3 day, and 4 day. I spent most of my time with a single guide, Aiden, extremely knowledgeable and worked very hard in trying to find what our group stated we wished to see (macro). My other guide Enya was just the same always looking to make the guests time diving as enjoyable as possible. The boat supervisors I encountered, Lucinda and Leon, were both extremely organized and knowledgeable about all the happenings and procedures of the boat, including the diving (they also were acting as guides when needed). Most dive groups were a maximum of 4 or 5 per guide. Boat crew were extremely professional and helpful in any and all capacity from helping with assembling dive gear, putting on dive gear, helping fix dive gear as needed, cleaning the boat/living areas, and any other tasks. Diving conditions were spectacular, coral life was mostly healthy with a few spots of bleaching/dead, but there was still an extreme abundance of life. Most dives had a current however due to most sites locations and layout drift diving was not an option meaning when currents shifted you had to fight the current. The one 4 star in cabin comfort comes from the beds as they are quite quite firm, I elected to sleep on the top deck most nights in a hammock. Food was mostly western style in the mornings, and Thai for lunch/dinner and was always prepared well with more than enough for the entire boat to not go hungry. Dakota S

Beside the amazing staff and the people onboard we saw a lot of corals and different colorful fish and slogs. We will definitely do a Liveaboard in the Similan islands again!

The staff from Sea Dragon was beyond amazing and we had the best group with such lovely different people from all over the world. The best thing though was the cook Pi Oi 🩷 She cooked the most delicious food and was so funny at the barbecue (which became an actual party).

Beautiful Thailand
The dive sites were new and interesting. I particularly like Tachai Reef and Bat fish rock where we were encircled by a funnel of barracuda and trevaly for about 20 minutes. A very unique experience.
