Meaning “Pearl of the Sea” in Indonesian. Mutiara Laut was carefully crafted based on a classic 18th-century North Atlantic Schooner with unique Indonesian touches. Seeing her two masts at full mast is a sight to behold and an experience of a lifetime. Its classic design features 7 well-appointed cabins, warm teak wood throughout, and ample indoor/outdoor space for guests to relax and enjoy Indonesia’s exotic beauty.
Mutiara Laut is a thoroughbred sailing liveaboard and was purposely designed and rigged to have true sailing capabilities. When all 7 sails are up, and the wind fills the 850m2 or 9,000 sq. ft. surface, Mutiara Laut will easily go close to 8 knots, allowing our guests to discover the natural beauty and splendor of even the remotest islands in safety and comfort at a smooth, leisurely pace.

Probably the best liveaboard I have done to date!
Water clarity was exceptional. The ever changing current made for some very interesting diving and the marine life was great. Proximity and multitude of mantas just fantastic. Local guides a necessity. The service and setup on the boat was phenomenal. This is not a 'dive crazy' boat although 4 dives a day is no problem. If you can afford it go for the master cabin - it is just lovely.

Wonderful boat with a wonderful crew
We spent the last part of our honeymoon on Mutiara Laut and it was our personal highlight. Thank you to Arie & the whole crew for making it such a memorable trip! We enjoyed everything from the activities (from diving to on-land excursions) to the food and the boat— and felt incredibly taken care of by the amazing crew. Hope to see you again soon!

We had a fabulous holiday sailing around Indonesia on the Mutiara Laut.
Snorkeling the Cathedral cave in southern Raja Ampat was awesome. The fish schools in Raja Ampat were just amazing and so many surprises, never seen a red anemone before! Wall diving, bommies, drift diving, sea monoliths, coral gardens...so much to see. Plus the food was really great and lots of it.

Amazing Experience
Our first proper liveaboard experience and we were not disappointed. Komodo was every bit as stunning as we had been told it was and sailing around it on a boat as beautiful as Mutiara Laut, with a Crew as brilliant as we had was an absolute pleasure. Could not recommend highly enough. Hopefully see you in Raja Ampat soon!

Our time aboard Mutiara Laut has exceeded all others to date - such a fantastic cruise around northern Raja Ampat.
There is nothing that would lead me to write anything remotely negative about our time on this cruise - 10/10. The snorkel locations were exceptionally well chosen and our guide Arie showed his vast experience both in and out of the water at all times. Even having to alter plans due to bad weather up north made no difference to the overall experience. Dining in or out was handled by the crew perfectly and any request to any of them never a problem. It goes without saying that we absolutely are looking forward to setting sail on Mutiara Laut again when time permits.
