Amazing Trip
Every day was different and amazing in its own way. Sooo many great memories. Night diving with sharks that sat in your lap was definitely a highlight. Swimming with mantas and whale-sharks, was a blast. Meeting such a wonderful crew and passengers will definitely be a lifelong memory.

Negative experience, cockroaches in cabin bed, skipped highlights of itinerary
The operator of the liveaboard skipped several highlights on the itinerary. They blamed it on bad weather although we had sunny skies and a smooth sea on the entire trip. We had COCKROACHES in our cabin and in our beds. No nitrox available. Our last day was supposed to be “island hopping.” The dive guides told us to go hop on Male island in the city. Very Disappointing experience!

Wonderful diving safari in the Maldives with fun guides
Was reunited with my delayed luggage (grateful to have been able to receive it 3 days into the trip) due to a guide who was able to keep in touch with the airport as we were sailing away, Mantas!!!, catered to my vegan diet, friendly guides and staff.

Great manta diving!
Really enjoyed a short getaway to the Maldives and the opportunity for some Manta diving and a "shark- fix". Definitely my best manta encounter so far - very curious mantas that would come and check us out and stay with us for quite a while at times. Great crew and dive guides, they really made the trip worthwhile. And I liked our cabin - one of the nicer ones I have had on a liveaboard and with a lot of storage opps. A few things to watch out for though: book your own domestic flights (a lot cheaper than via the operator); it's a very large boat - 24 divers is a bit much esp. when they only have 3 guides; you need nitrox to be able to do 3 dives a day - they charge quite a bit extra for the nitrox (112 US$ for 16 dives!) and then on most dives at least one of us didn't have a full 200 bars in our tank (this eventually got better); our standard cabin was very nice and had a lot of storage space but some of the main parts of the boat could do with maintenance (broken lounge chairs on the sundeck, some A/Cs not working); before you book it, check that it's the right season - we went end of Dec/Jan and still didn't have the right currents for the type of diving they advertise. Fuvahmulah wasn't worth it at all - no current, no sharks and very poor visibility on the baited shark dive (which also costs extra), Addu was nice actually but it's probably even better with the right type of current.

Very nice and helpful crew but a damn lot of trouble with the boats..
The compressor of the Dhoni was broken, the enginee of the Dhingi was broken, both electricity generators of the Horizon III were broken. We even need to sleep 1 night on a local island and could not do the trip we should. No light for whalesshark because no electricity... 2 missed dives, 1 discovery dive with nothing to see because of all the problems.. That was very disappointing.. But the crew was super nice, the rest of the dives were good and we really liked the food.

Great experience but unfortunately not so great boat
The dhoni broke twice during the week. At one point it was during storm with waves about 1.5-2 meters and some of us were on the water waiting for pick up for 40 mins. The air con at the main boat cabin slowly stopped being cold throughout the week, it started very cold. You have to pay 20 usd for the internet but most of the time the signal is really bad and only works when you’re on the lounge in the main deck.

Great crew but they should socialize a bit more with the guests
It's a nice trip to explore the less known south of the Maldives. Boat: The cabins are spacious, with a sundeck, big dining room and even a lounge area so there's loads of space to relax. Although the boat would need some improvement: Aircon in my room was leaking, half of the sun loungers on the deck were broken, the aircon in the lounge area has been turned off all the time and a couple had to change rooms due to loud noises in the morning hours. Having to pay for WiFi these days is something I didn't experience for a while (20$ a week) but what's really annoying is that it's basically just working on the main deck and not the cabins let alone the sun deck. Organization: Communication with the operator upfront took loads of time with sometimes no answer. Domestic flights they organized were more expensive than they were online and have been organized to a time that I had to leave the boat in the middle of the night at the end of the trip to catch it. Even though it was the flight operator having troubles I expect at least an email saying that they didn't forget about my inquiry and they're coming back to me as soon as possible. Even already at the boat I still had no flight number or time so I couldn't book a connecting flight. Diving: You'll see loads of manta rays at cleaning stations and reef sharks. At tiger zoo you'll get the experience to dive with tiger sharks as well. I personally didn't enjoy this one as there's loads of current pushing u against rocks and other people as everyone has been seated tight next to each other. Got a few bruises after the dive and due to sandy bottom the visability was quite bad. Still impressive animals these tiger sharks and we got a marine biologist coming to the boat to explain more which was really interesting. We experienced quite some current in our dives and even a really bad down current which caused a few people to skip dives to this special dive site as it was really challenging and frightening. We've been wreck diving as well... No visibility, poor fish live and not allowed to penetrate this was not the best dive. The dive dhoni was quite spacious and you could rent any equipment you want. Wetsuits are just shorties, my SMB was quite bad and totally entangled but I got a new one after one dive. They mounted my first stage wrong the first dive (two people including me didn't see it while buddy check). Had to deal with it under water and breathe through my octo but at least they fixed it once I got back. What the dhoni or the boat really lacked was somewhere to wash the wetsuits and therefore at the end of the week they've been smelling really bad as everyone kept hanging them just outside without rinsing. Crew: The crew was really friendly and amazing. Especially the guys working in the kitchen and behind the bar were always in a good mood and even took care of special wishes and diets as for example Soy milk or extra chillies for me. The dive guides were quite young and some if them new to the boat. They've been really nice and knew the area. All of them were local and could tell a bit more about the Maldives and the surrounding. What I was missing here was a bit more socializing with the guests. Most of them vanished after a dive and we wouldn't see them until the next dive briefing. A bit more talking to us would have been nice. For example just double check if everything is alright before a dive, check with the group if it works with the buddy checks, ask around after a dive if everything's good and talk about what we saw and how we experienced it. All in all it was a great week of diving in a nice boat with friendly people. I personally liked the north and central maldives more and I'd like to give the advice to train the guides and crew more in communication with guests to make the liveaboard even more attractive.

Wonderful crew, great food, beautiful dives, some technical glitches
Was on a 7 nights trip of the central atolls. All in all a truly wonderful experience. All the crew- from the bartender to the divemasters- were extremely kind and helpful. The dives were also exquisite, and the diving team very proffesional. The rooms were quite spacious for a boat this size, and the room was cleaned on a daily basis. The common areas of the boat were also nice. The jacuzzi was not working, which I peraonally did not mind. On the downside- we were informed on arrival that there would be no nitrox, as the designated compressor is broken. Without Nitrox, we found ourselves truly edging the borders of NDL with 3 deep dives a day. Also, they had a technical issue with the dinghi, causing them to postpone the third dive of the second day to the day after. All in all, we had a great vacation and I would hearfuly recommend this boat to my friends were the nitrox compressor to be fixed.

Varied and exciting diving
Professional run dive organisation , staff helpful with gear set up etc, knowledgeable guide and in depth briefing provided on all dive sites. Boat crew could not have been more accommodating, food varied and plentiful... lots of tuna! Cabins tidied and cleaned twice daily with clean towels, Drinks very expensive but to be expected. On a down side , boat needs maintenance, no water initially, when fixed we mostly had luke warm showers at best mostly cold. Air con in downstairs cabins broke and was unable to be repaired leaving rooms stifling hot for sleeping in. Also very bad smell in downstairs corridor.

Great Diving
Diving : good selection of sites with good timing to see the big things; sharks mantas, octopus and so on the guides well aware about the locations and dive plans and they take good care of divers The Boat the crew very helpful the boat organized it was not very crowded trip food very nice except the drinks BBQ night was very nice the WiFi service is very bad in general the rooms and bathrooms need more service the boot is more like 3 stars not very fancy , found bugs and corkroach the provided towels was not cleaned properly they have only one trip to transfer you from airport to the boat so better ot align your flight with it otherwise you will be stuck in the airport for nothing
