The 50m Scubaspa Yang liveaboard is the sister vessel to the Scubaspa Ying, which offers year-round diving holidays in the Maldives. Winner of multiple awards, the Scubaspa Yang provides a truly luxurious diving experience in the Maldives. Up to 36 guests can be accommodated in 17 guest cabins (5 Manta Suites, 3 Dolphin Suites, 1 Cowrie Suite, 8 Sea Star Cabins). One suite and one cabin can be converted into a triple to accommodate 3 guests. All cabins feature en-suite bathrooms and individually controlled air conditioning. The 8 suites located on the main deck all offer panoramic sea views.
The restaurant is located on the main deck and serves three buffet-style meals, plus an à la carte menu. There are live cooking stations, and internationally qualified chefs cater to all dietary needs. There is also an alfresco dining area at the rear of the main deck, and there will be the opportunity to enjoy a BBQ on a deserted island during your stay. The onboard spa spans 300 m² and features 4 treatment rooms, including a double room designed for couples.
Diving from the Scubaspa Yang takes place from the accompanying dive dhoni, which carries all the necessary equipment, including air compressors, a nitrox filling station, rinse tanks, and dive equipment storage. Experienced multi-lingual dive instructors and divemasters can cater to all diving levels and abilities. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, a variety of courses, from beginner to advanced, can be taken on board. Itineraries cover the ‘Best of Maldives’, which includes the Male Atolls, Ari Atolls, and Rasdhoo & Vaavu Atoll, and is available all year, except for February & March when the Scubaspa yacht travels to the ‘Deep South’ for more remote diving suited to more experienced divers.

From the moment we stepped aboard until our reluctant departure, our liveaboard trip was, quite simply, the best dive vacation we have ever taken. This is more than a dive boat; it’s a floating haven where luxury, world-class diving, and impeccable service converge. If you are looking for the ultimate adventure delivered with genuine warmth and attention to detail, book this trip immediately. World-Class Encounters Under the Waves: The diving was nothing short of extraordinary. The crew consistently put us on world-class sites, delivering the kind of marine life encounters that most divers only dream of. Every single dive felt like a page out of a documentary. We were spoiled with multiple, up-close encounters with majestic manta rays, breathtaking sightings of a whale shark, and exhilarating dives surrounded by various species of sharks and dozens of graceful eagle rays. Combined with the stunning health of the reefs—vibrant, beautiful, and teeming with life—it was a truly unforgettable underwater spectacle. Service, Comfort, and Those Perfect Details: The professionalism and friendliness of the crew were outstanding. They managed to be highly professional and safety-conscious while making us feel like family. Beyond the diving, the ship itself felt like a boutique hotel. Our cabins were spacious and incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect retreat after a long day of diving. But it was the little details that elevated the experience into pure luxury. From the beautifully set dining tables at every meal to the charming whaleshark drawn in the foam of our morning cappuccino, the crew's dedication to guest happiness shone through in every interaction. A Culinary Revelation for Vegans: As vegans, dining on a liveaboard can often be challenging, but the kitchen staff here delivered an absolutely fabulous culinary experience. They made the biggest effort to ensure we had varied, delicious, and exciting food for every single meal. We didn't just get a side salad; we were treated to creative, flavorful dishes that rivaled top-tier restaurants. Their dedication went far beyond expectation, making the food a true highlight of the entire trip. Final Verdict: This liveaboard sets the gold standard for dive travel. Perfect 4 days
From the welcome at the airport, to the food, yoga, diving spots to the staff, it was a great experience. The dive sites were always well explained and the dive guides all made a very good impression. Ours was definitely very good. (We have already experienced this differently)

Diving in a lap of luxury!
Loved it!! The diving was amazing and crew were so helpful. The Dhoni made it really easy to set out gear and get ready. The food was fabulous. I loved the massage that I could sneak it. Incredible sunsets. My husband, who doesnt dive, joined me to snorkel. He enjoyed being taken to isolated islands for nice lovely snorkels everyday. It was the ultimate in luxury and fun diving!!!

A most wonderful vacation with 17 diverse dives in pure luxury
so many things about this trip were just perfect, and I wish I could do it at least once a year and for at least 2 weeks. The natural setting combined with this exquisite boat and the excellent staff was just amazing. Fellow divers reminded me that there are lots of other beautiful dive spots to discover and great options in terms of liveaboards and resorts, but I can't imagine any will live up to the combination of awesomeness that I experienced on the ScubaSpa Yang.

Scubaspa Maldives has been, without question, the best liveaboard I have ever been on. From the moment you step on board, you feel welcomed, cared for, and completely spoiled. The staff is unbelievably friendly—every single person goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable, memorable, and effortless. The boat itself is pure luxury. Everything is impeccably clean, beautifully maintained, and designed to make you feel like you’re on a floating boutique hotel rather than a traditional liveaboard. The common areas, the rooms, the spa, the decks… all flawless. The food deserves its own mention. There is a wide variety at every meal, and the quality is honestly exquisite. Fresh, flavourful, and prepared with so much care—you look forward to every single menu. As for the diving: exceptional. The dive guides are extremely experienced, capable, and attentive. You always feel safe and supported, whether it’s your first time in the Maldives or your hundredth. Their knowledge of the dive sites and currents is impressive, and every briefing is thorough and reassuring. Tivemos dias incríveis com o Scubaspa ying. Toda a tripulação é fantástica, cordial e atenciosa. Os instrutores de mergulho são muito bem preparados, inclusive para dar todo o suporte para os iniciantes. A programação é perfeita, com mergulhos e atrações na medida certa. Muito melhor do que se hospedar em qualquer resort da região.
