The 50m Scubaspa Yang liveaboard is the sister vessel to the Scubaspa Ying, which offers year-round diving holidays in the Maldives. Winner of multiple awards, the Scubaspa Yang provides a truly luxurious diving experience in the Maldives. Up to 36 guests can be accommodated in 17 guest cabins (5 Manta Suites, 3 Dolphin Suites, 1 Cowrie Suite, 8 Sea Star Cabins). One suite and one cabin can be converted into a triple to accommodate 3 guests. All cabins feature en-suite bathrooms and individually controlled air conditioning. The 8 suites located on the main deck all offer panoramic sea views.
The restaurant is located on the main deck and serves three buffet-style meals, plus an à la carte menu. There are live cooking stations, and internationally qualified chefs cater to all dietary needs. There is also an alfresco dining area at the rear of the main deck, and there will be the opportunity to enjoy a BBQ on a deserted island during your stay. The onboard spa spans 300 m² and features 4 treatment rooms, including a double room designed for couples.
Diving from the Scubaspa Yang takes place from the accompanying dive dhoni, which carries all the necessary equipment, including air compressors, a nitrox filling station, rinse tanks, and dive equipment storage. Experienced multi-lingual dive instructors and divemasters can cater to all diving levels and abilities. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, a variety of courses, from beginner to advanced, can be taken on board. Itineraries cover the ‘Best of Maldives’, which includes the Male Atolls, Ari Atolls, and Rasdhoo & Vaavu Atoll, and is available all year, except for February & March when the Scubaspa yacht travels to the ‘Deep South’ for more remote diving suited to more experienced divers.

Great Experience!
Diving/Snorkeling - it was great that we (a diver and a non-diver) could both do what we wanted, see so much of the Maldives and still spend time together! The spa was fantastic! The staff and food on Scubaspa Yang were spectacular. We would definitely travel with Scubaspa again!

Superb boat, fantastic diving and lovely crew
One of us dives and one doesn't but on Scubaspa we each had an equally great holiday. Think of a floating five star boutique hotel with an award winning spa and the best staff you could hope for. Add to it top quality diving that just kept giving with attentive and knowledgeable guides. Throw in some super travelling companions great food and lots of fun and you have a trip aboard the Scubaspa Yang. I must also thank Liveaboard.com for making sure everything worked smoothly and all requests were looked after.

First liveaboard experience, let's just say the standard has been put through the ceiling.
Meeting 17 other like minded people who are all open and happy to be there. We created a lovely bond amongst others which totally enhanced the trip. The night dive to the jetty was the most amazing dive yet for us. To have sting rays, reef shark and fish swimming around you, on and through you in qty was exhilarating. The food that was prepared by the chefs was really diverse and catered for everyone at the highest standard even though it was buffet style. So delicious, so many courses and delicious flavours.
