The 50m Scubaspa Yang liveaboard is the sister vessel to the Scubaspa Ying, which offers year-round diving holidays in the Maldives. Winner of multiple awards, the Scubaspa Yang provides a truly luxurious diving experience in the Maldives. Up to 36 guests can be accommodated in 17 guest cabins (5 Manta Suites, 3 Dolphin Suites, 1 Cowrie Suite, 8 Sea Star Cabins). One suite and one cabin can be converted into a triple to accommodate 3 guests. All cabins feature en-suite bathrooms and individually controlled air conditioning. The 8 suites located on the main deck all offer panoramic sea views.
The restaurant is located on the main deck and serves three buffet-style meals, plus an à la carte menu. There are live cooking stations, and internationally qualified chefs cater to all dietary needs. There is also an alfresco dining area at the rear of the main deck, and there will be the opportunity to enjoy a BBQ on a deserted island during your stay. The onboard spa spans 300 m² and features 4 treatment rooms, including a double room designed for couples.
Diving from the Scubaspa Yang takes place from the accompanying dive dhoni, which carries all the necessary equipment, including air compressors, a nitrox filling station, rinse tanks, and dive equipment storage. Experienced multi-lingual dive instructors and divemasters can cater to all diving levels and abilities. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, a variety of courses, from beginner to advanced, can be taken on board. Itineraries cover the ‘Best of Maldives’, which includes the Male Atolls, Ari Atolls, and Rasdhoo & Vaavu Atoll, and is available all year, except for February & March when the Scubaspa yacht travels to the ‘Deep South’ for more remote diving suited to more experienced divers.

Tiger sharks in the deep south
We had an amazing trip down south. The crew was amazing and so friendly. The highlight was Fuvamula, a spot famous in the world for close encounters with tiger sharks. And it held up to all expectations.

Cant get any better
Epic week and best experience of our lives so far. Everything was perfect from the boat itself all the way to the crew. Delicious and lots of varieties of food everyday. EXCELLENT diving, big thanks to TOKEN our dive guide, tick every boxes. 100% planning to repeat. Boat was 10/10 but crew 12/10 and what made the experience really amazing and an ever lasting memory! We'd Do It Again!
Great crew - very personable and caring. Dive sites were very good. Condition of boat was very good, and dining and spa facilities were first class. Felt like we were on a high class yacht at a much lower cost and with very amiable casual atmosphere. Had lots of fun dancing and relaxing on a couple of nights when we weren't going diving early the next day.

Awesome diving experience in perfect ambience
Beautiful boat and awesome crew. Simon, Laura and Tristan were the perfect Boat directors and very interested in our safety and personal well-being. We felt very welcome all the time and always had someone around for a nice chat. The dive teachers Mox and Wishoo are very experienced and know every dive spot by heart. We had a stunning trip and loved every minute of it. The highlights were the BBQ on a private island - so beautiful! So as the night dive surrounded by hundreds of sharks. Also the diving spots were well chosen, every single one had its own speciality. Food and service were amazing too, we could ask for everything anytime. We do definitely recommend the Scubaspa Ying experience and will come back for our next diving adventure! Thanks to the whole crew for the great trip!

Stunning
Our cabin (#14) was on the main deck had so much space and was central to everything. The food was outstanding, every meal had so much choice. Island trips were organised so well and everything ran like clock work. The staff were always pleasent and happy and our dive guide new all the good spots to take us.

Floating 5-star hotel
The boat was like a true 5-star hotel on water. Excellent food of high quality with great selection and variety. Special events like BBQ on the beach and sunset cocktail on a deserted island was great add-ons to an already packed and exciting program. The dive crew was great and delivered spectacular dives. I would recommend to go in Dec-Mar, where you have higher visibility in the water and better weather.

Best liveaboard experience!!
Do not think twice about choosing ScubaSpa as your provider for a live aboard trip in the Maldives. The boats are huge, new and beautifully crafted. Enough space for everyone to find their own place to relax in-between dives but also to hang out and mingle if that's what you're feeling. The food was always plentiful and delicious with a different theme each day. The diving was first class, made even more enjoyable by the happy, friendly and fun dive guides. Cannot speak highly enough of our experience only to say that we will be going back to do another trip and that certainly says something as we are usually a 'don't do it twice' type people.

Fantastic diving and liveaboard experience
Seeing our dive team rescue a Manta that was tangled up on fishing lines. They were able to help her and the Manta was so calm asking for help. Never have I seen this before
