“This was my most awesome liveaboard to date! ”
Highlights
Custom-built for divers, the Nautilus Belle Amie ship is the largest of the Nautilus Liveaboards’ fleet. With amenities akin to a floating boutique hotel, and a reputation for offering high-level service on board, the Nautilus Belle Amie accommodates 32 guests in 17 en-suite staterooms and suites. On the lower deck are 8 twin staterooms plus one affordable triple occupancy stateroom. The main deck has 2 premium suites, and 6 superior suites are on the wheelhouse deck. Bedding in the suites can be converted to twins or doubles. All rooms also feature individually controlled air-conditioning.
On the main deck is a large salon and dining area, where a fusion of Mexican and West Coast North American food is served. All dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, food allergy options, and quasi-kosher, can be catered to with prior notice. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are buffet-style, and the evening meal is served plated buffet or family-style. There are two fully-stocked extensive bars on board, which include single malts, microbrews, and a large selection of wine. The large sun deck has space for everyone to enjoy lounging in the sun and a hot tub to warm up in-between dives or enjoy after diving with a drink and snack.
The heavy steel construction with stabilization of the Nautilus Belle Amie liveaboard means she was perfectly designed for ocean crossings to get divers to the world-class dive sites of the Socorro Islands or over to Guadalupe for up-close encounters with great white sharks. From November - June, the Socorro Islands are open to offering some of the best diving in the world. Friendly mantas, dolphins, humpback whales, pilot whales, and up to 10 species of shark are just some of the marine encounters the Socorro Islands offer. Or for those who want to get up close with great white sharks, the Guadalupe season offers from July - November each year. The large dive deck, onboard nitrox, and 3 large dive skiffs ensure an easy diving experience.

Fantastic week, diving with amazing wildlife in Socorro, on board a great ship
I have never been on a live aboard before - so was a little anxious as to whether I would like it. The Nautilus Belle Amie is an amazing ship, perfectly set up for diving, but also a wonderful ship on which to spend a week. Sure, it isn't cheap, but you get what you pay for, and I thoroughly recommend this ship

Great trip!
I really enjoyed the enthusiasm of the divemasters-Stein, Carlos, Nico, and Jaime were all excellent. We saw five or six mantas, hammerheads, and dolphins on one dive. The divemasters could spot them well before they came into view, and they were just as excited as we were when they found something good. Lovely trip

Very good
In the end it was possible to confirm a group of friends with the divers and a good atmosphere with the crew, dive guides and theCapital taking maximum care of our safety.

A dream come true.
I am a lover of sharks (especially great white sharks). I was thrilled by the moment on the last dive of the last day when a whale shark appeared that was with us along with the great white sharks.

The best dive and crew experience I’ve had
Virtually unlimited underwater time, multiple sharks on every dive that come right up to the cages, and a crew that makes you feel like family. I did this trip solo, and always felt included, valued, and looked after. It was the best travel and dive experience, and hopefully more than a once in a lifetime trip. Kudos to the Bella Amie team!

By far the best liveaboard experience to date!
Diving was easy, not rushed and the team adjusted the dive schedule according to the water conditions. Dive guides were always amenable and eager to help. The chef and stewardesses were top-notch, making everyone feel at home.

Absolutely Amazing!
We saw white sharks on every dive. The boat offers 5 cages so you never feel like you’re doing the same thing twice. Each night was a special event on the sun deck, including a complimentary wine tasting. The crew was top notch, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would definitely do this trip again!

Magical mantas
3 trip with Naulitus in a year! Love the company. This is the biggest vessel yet. 32 divers was A LOT but everything systematically managed by groups so diving worked out just fine. Super nice boat that made the crossing so much smoother/easier. Very experienced, safety first and passionate crew especially guides and their energy underwater shows. Love love love them. Great diving. Life was abundant. Mexican animals are friendly just like the people. Magical manta encounters that (almost) beat my eye to eye orca interactions haha. Food was super yummy too.
