Everything from start to finish was excellent- from quality of rental equipment to the lovely post dive drinks (juices or teas depending on weather). The crew were super nice and so helpful. Food was plentiful and excellent - bowls of fresh fruit available all the time.

Magic above and below
A diving holiday unforgettable for me with dives, sometimes a bit challenging, in places as remote as they are beautiful. Splendid pearls set in an emerald sea. Wonderful corals in excellent health, for now, refuge for an indescribable amount of fish.

- Boat crew - friendly, funny, always helpful but still 100% professionals with top-expertise in local diving. Quite clever selection of dive locations to cover best of available in region. Land excursions to see a bit from top-side too.

Marvelous diving, friendly and competent crew, pretty boat, and surprisingly good food!
Our nine-night itinerary allowed more diving and relaxation than typical seven-night trips. The boat schedule was good, with dives at 7:00, 11:00, and 15:00. We found many fantastic macro creatures during daytime dives, including pygmy seahorses, and both night dives were outstanding. A few dives had higher current, which challenged some on our boat, and the water was a bit colder in the southern part of Komodo National Park - we were happy to have brought 5 mm wetsuits in addition to our thinner ones. The two land adventures were fun, as were the mealtimes, including special steak night, burger lunch, and hot pot dinner. The best part was the super-friendly and competent crew, especially our dive guide Pablo and the hilarious cruise director Tony. It was absolutely worth it - highly recommended!

A beautiful boat in a beautiful location
We visited a variety of sites, enjoying both macro life and pelagics like mantas and sharks. When we were in south Komodo, we were virtually alone; only one other dive boat was in the area. The reefs were so healthy with brilliant colors and abundant life. Our divemasters, Sophie and Flo, were wonderful hosts and guides. I enjoyed our shore excursions, hiking a tall peak for a great view and also seeing the Komodo dragons in the park. My week, we only had 7 divers out of the 12 possible, so we got very individualized service (and I had my own cabin!).

Wonderful trip on a boat with a lot of charm and comfort and sumptuous dives. Unforgettable 🥰
Wonderful holiday interlude on a dream shooner. Well appointed and comfortable with family (adults). Unforgettable dives on preserved places where an organization and quotas restrict access for the benefit of the underwater fauna and flora but also of the divers🥰. The crew is very well organized. Everything went smoothly, in a good mood, in complete safety and comfort on wonderful places. Congratulations and thank you all. I recommend and will repeat the experience if possible.

An Unforgettable First Liveaboard Experience on the Emperor Raja Laut
My first liveaboard experience aboard the Emperor Raja Laut was nothing short of incredible. This beautiful wooden schooner provided the perfect setting for my first dives in Raja Ampat, a destination that truly lives up to its reputation as a diver’s paradise. As a relatively new diver with less than 100 dives as compared to the others divers, my dive master was incredibly attentive, ensuring I felt safe and confident throughout. The crew and cruise director put in a visible effort to find the most challenging and diverse dive sites in the northern and central regions of Raja Ampat, making each dive an adventure. From vibrant coral gardens to thrilling drift dives, every site offered something unique. By the end of the trip, I was completely hooked on liveaboard diving. The combination of world-class diving, expert guidance, and the charm of the Emperor Raja Laut made this an unforgettable experience. I can't wait for my next liveaboard adventure!

Forget everything and enjoy yourself at the Emperor Raja Laut
If you have doubts, don't worry. If you want a family and comfortable boat for diving, the Raja Laut is your place. Not fancy, but very comfortable and family-friendly. Nihed and all the staff will do what they can to make you enjoy. They will not assure you of seeing mantas or sharks, but they will do the impossible so that you can see them. Safe dives, first aid kit and extraordinary first aid. Very correct meals, you will not go hungry. And Komodo, an aquarium. Maybe some fslle diving, as in all trips but, in general, beautiful. Looking forward to returning. Thank you Nihed and thank you Raja Laut team, a luxury.

- The all-ship team with Nihed, cruise director, at the helm. Exceptional, they do everything in their power to make you look your best. Magnificent!. The boat, Raja Laut, better than in the photos. Very familiar, you feel at home.. Dives, Komodo looks like an aquarium, although as always, there may be some looser ones.
