Trip of a Lifetime
From the moment we landed, everything was top notch. The cabins, crew, and itinerary were AWESOME. We were able to spend 3 days at Darwin and Wolf, and saw scores of Hammerheads, Galapagos Sharks, Turtles, Eagle Rays, and even 3 Juvenile Whale Sharks. The crew and our dive guides were all amazing, always cracking jokes and dropping knowledge about what we were seeing above and below. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Felt like a dream.
We had a wonderful time on the Calipso. The crew and dive guides were fabulous and the diving was spectacular. We got to see everything we had hoped to see including a mola mola and whale sharks. We were a bit unprepared for how cold the water was, and the rental wetsuits weren't warm enough for us. Luckily we had great fellow divers who offered up extra layers for us.

Most beautiful Liveaboard I've been on
I loved loved loved the sea lions. I didn't expect to be so impressed with them. I was going to see all the hammerheads, hoping to see Mola Molas, and Whale Sharks. We could tick off everything on the list, except seeing a penguin swimming in the water. I was in awe at the numbers of hammers, but the vis-being not that great-makes me want to come back again to see this again. The marine iguanas were also really cool.

Excellent!
Whale sharks in abundance! Mola mola in abundance! One of the guides was absolutely knowledgeable on many useful subjects. Some crew members went above and beyond including doing my laundry on the last night. Thank you

Beyond expectations
This was my third liveaboard trip and this trip was out of this world. The 8 days went too quick. Everyone on the boat was very nice and really fun to be around. A lot of laughs. Unlike other trips we’re people tend to sit at the same table and mingle this group was very social. Make for a far superior trip. Dive guides were very knowledgeable not just on what was underwater but above also. We we especially lucky since we saw everything imaginable even swam with killer whales. The boat was very nice my room had a nice big window we’re I could watch the sunset while laying down. I could go on and on but then may come across as a paid review. Lol.

Seeing the diversity of species in the Galapagos always has you waiting for the next exciting moment! Every day was fantastic! The crew went above and beyond to help us in every way, from diving, to cooking, to cabin cleaning and all the little things inbetween. Couldn't have been happier with our amazing trip!

Amazing Crew & Wildlife
This was my first Liveaboard and did not know what to expect. Everything felt very professional and the entire crew was amazing. Our favorites were the dive guides and our panga driver! We were able to see all the wildlife we expected to including hundreds of Galapagos & Hammerhead sharks, Whale shark, Sunfish and marine iguanas. My 40th birthday celebration was also very special while on the Calipso - we hope to return in the future!

- The Galapagos really delivers the best in diving - pristine, so many animals, a truly special place. The Calipso was well suited for scuba diving; the hot towels and hot showers on the dive deck hit the spot after each dive. The crew was engaging and fun.
Needs to improve
Recent boat which has to improve many details, especially “before trip support & info”, and service details in crew. Diving is guided by official national park divemasters, supposed to be a plus, but this is not the case. Boat needs to improve its navigation capacities: unconfortable even with calm weather in hot season. Overall a nice dive trip for the unforgettable nature and diving spots, boat and needs to improve for worthing the money they took. Thank you

Awesome trip in the best liveaboard I've been
One day at Darwin, while being surrounded of hammerheads and galapagos sharks as usual, a group of silky sharks decided to surround us feeling curious, we were so excited to have such an experience, when a massive Whale Shark appeared from the deep blowing our minds. Believe what they tell you about the Galapagos, and if you go with this really big and comfortable boat full of details with a crew that enjoys their job, you will be in the perfect hands. (I've been in 3 other liveaboards around the world, so I can compare, this one was the best).

Great dives
The guides I had are great. One is really knowledge about the islands. The other took plenty of photos of the animals and everyone and made a movie for us at the end. The food is amazing for a liveaboard. Rooms are spacious and bright. Water is frigid. They will tell you average water temperature is 23 oC in December. That is the warmest water we encountered. Half the dives had a temperature between 16 and 19. Bring some shorties in addition to the 7mm

Great trip!
Diving with hammerheads, whalesharks, sea lions, and iguanas. Penguins and mola mola at the end. Area for improvements: selection of diving sites regardless of conditions; rushing during some dives; last day schedule.

Very nice boat, well set up with a comfort room with an amazing view. The staff was incredibly helpful and always willing to do that little bit extra to make it the best experience possible. Darwin and Wolf are definitely the highlights of the trip with all the shark action you could ask for.

What a great experience!
I saw so many things that I had never seen before (having 1000+ dives): Iguana, "walls" of hammer heads sharks, sealions playing with us ... Other things I had seen before, but just not in this obliviance, like turtles, sharks in general, big, big schools of fish, great variety of fish. Also: a very nice and helpful crew. They have the right to a certain amount of tips, so no need to go a long way to assist the guests. But still they do, they are just super people!

Perfection on the Ocean
Absolutely stunning boat and amazing crew! There's no better boat in the Galapagos : huge super comfy cabins with panoramic windows, very good and diverse food, and a crew with a very very big heart who takes good care of every one! Our trip was a really exceptional human experience. Thanks again Calipso and her crew. The diving was as expected in the Galapagos : one of the best in the world! We saw so many sharks, rays, sealions and dolphins on our dives that we thought we were dreaming. If I have a chance to come back to the Galapagos, I'd like to go on Calipso again for sure. Everything was so perfect!

Exceptional experience!!!
So many highlights I can’t even begin to describe them. The boat and crew were simply incredible. I would recommend medication for sea sickness as in august the Galapagos is choppy water. I would also suggest you have the necessary diving experience required to take this challenge on. Thank you Calipso for the trip of my life!!!!

Excellent trip
Excellent boat with very friendly and helpful crew and professional diving instructors. Good food and fantastic dives. We were on the Darwin and Wolf route and now I can confirm that this is truly the sharkiest spot on our planet! Tens of hammerheads and Galapagos sharks were passing by in front of us a few meters away! Additionally, there were also orcas swimming near our zodiac boat! Everything was (almost) perfect! I have only a small remark to headquarters (not the crew) where they were, without any explanation, trying to change the category of our cabin on the arrival day.

Good but not as much as I expected
I generally enjoined the trip, however Galapagos is slowly becoming overadvertised and overpriced tourist trap. I should have gone 10 years ago. The diving rules are unnecessarily strict specially for more experienced divers and it stops you from seeing more hammerheads. And recommended tip of 10 % of trip value is a bad joke provided the amount you already paid, on Antarctica cruise they suggest just 10$ a day for much better services.
