The 34m KLM Sea Safari 8 Liveaboard is built in the traditional Indonesian Phinisi design, providing a comfortable adventure diving into the Indonesian archipelago. The KLM Sea Safari 8 Liveaboard has 12 air-conditioned guest cabins, each with an en-suite bathroom and TV. The KLM Sea Safari 8 Liveaboard boasts a large air-conditioned restaurant with a TV and DVD player, camera maintenance, and a setting up area.
Upstairs is a spacious and comfortable indoor lounge with a 42” LCD TV and entertainment system, leading to a beautiful outside bar area where you can enjoy stunning views, sunsets, and starry skies. This then leads to a spacious sun deck for relaxation between dives.

Couldn't have gone better!
From the pickup at the hotel to the drop-off at the airport, the crew made it as easy and fun as they could. The dives at 'Mayhem' and 'Melissa's Garden' were spectacular, as the others. Smooth sailing the entire week, total fun experience!

I had a great time onboard the Sea Safari 8, the boat is very spacious, the crew is lovely and the food is amazing. My dive guide Rekhi was really nice and knowledgeable, you could really feel he enjoyed being in the water and admire the beautiful sites of Raja.

Stunning place for a honeymoon
The range of diving was excellent and included a range of dives that allowed time to search for the small critters as well as the sharks, manta's and abundant fish life. The crew of Sea Safari were excellent and made it a really fun experience, whilst maintaining the focus on safety during the dives and any boat transfers. The food was abundant, and of a very very high quality. Fresh fish, crab, lobster all served across the journey in addition to some of the Indo staples.

Unforgettable experience. I would repeat.
Very well organized liveaboard. There was no Nitrox available on any dive. Except for this problem, the rest of the cruise was memorable: dive sites, guide, friendliness of the crew, etc.

Beautiful boat, amazing dive sites, hospitality and food!
We very much enjoyed our liveaboard experience. Special thanks to Chris for all he did to make things perfect, special thanks to Andre for amazing dives and to Yuan for his hospitality. Compliments to the chef! We did have a few issues with the diving equipment. I urge the owner to take a good look and update what's needed.

Great Crew & Service
From the minute we arrived on the boat, the crew and service were outstanding! There were so many good dive spots! We did 4 dives a day, which included a night dive each night. Even though April is the beginning of the rainy season, we had beautiful skies and weather the entire trip. The cabins are small but nice. AC works great. Lots of room on the boat for gathering after diving and eating to relax, play games, read or sunbathe. We had one snorkeler on the boat and nine divers. The snorkeler had a personal guide every day and was so pleased with how much and the variety of what she saw. Food was plentiful and good, mostly Indonesian style. All in all, this was a great trip and matched our expectation from the last time we visited (on a different boat) in March 2012. Visibility may have been a little better in March 2012 but our April 2018 visibility was still great. Thanks to the Sea Safari 8 team for excellent service and to the Liveaboard folks for helping us through the painless and efficient booking process!
