Barefoot luxury is the theme behind Mikumba Dua (of lost paradise charters) liveaboard Indonesia, having undergone an extensive renovation giving a contemporary twist to this traditional wooden boutique style phinisi. Mikumba Dua boasts the largest outdoor space found on any vessel in her class, spanning over 4 decks, allowing guests to indulge in alfresco dining under the stars while sipping away at their favorite drink or perhaps getting involved in some sunrise/sunset yoga or just lounging around on beanbags with a book. There are 2 Master cabins on the upper deck, both en-suite and with their own private balcony, with a further 3 double/twin cabins on the lower deck sharing 2 bathrooms. Pygmy seahorse and mantas and sick north komodo dive sites !!!
amazing memorable experience super comfortable boat, crew is amazing and talented to find all the rarest fish. saw pygmy seahorse, frog fish, pipefish, and mantas in abundance !!

One of the best dive experience!
First of all I would like to thank the whole crew for an amazing trip and an experience. Everyone was very attentive, respectful, and very fun to be around! I have always felt safe during our dives as dive master was very attentive. Some of the dives for me was bit challenging, but the dive master, Willy, always had a positive attitude and supported me as well as others during our dives to have the best experience possible. And needless to say the food during the 5 day trip was amazing. I think it was the most delicious food I had including Bali and Labuan Bajo. The trip was very organized and flexible to make sure we were having a best time while maintaining safety. If opportunity arises, I would love to and hope to join them again for an other trips!! Also all the people we met were all so friendly and fun! Which was a blessing and made our stay even better.

Absolutely Fabulous
Mikumba Dua was one of the best liveaboards I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The entire crew was absolutely fantastic and made me feel welcome and safe. They always seemed ready to laugh and smile and made the trip really fun, from meals to karaoke to tubing behind the dingy. The dive masters were extremely professional and made each dive fun and safe despite some gnarly currents - they were excellent at spotting wildlife both big and small. The food was absolutely top notch and I also enjoyed all of the land excursions in between dives to explore the islands. 10/10 would recommend!

Indescribable moments
The service was absolutely top notch and the crew incredibly familiar – you immediately feel welcome. The dive sites were fantastic, and the experienced dive masters knew exactly where to find which animals. I was able to gain a lot of experience for my own diving skills and received valuable tips from the dive masters. The food on board was also delicious and rounded off the experience perfectly. Despite two rainy days, the tour was flexibly adapted and the best of it was made. The highlight for me was the dive at Manta Point – meeting the majestic giant manta rays so close was an unforgettable experience.

Atemberaubende Tauchspots mit "strong but very nice current"
We had a five-day liveaboard in the Komodo National Park, where we saw beautiful dive sites with very healthy flora and lots of fish. In addition to manta rays and sharks, our dive guide Saldy also showed us many tiny animals such as ghostpipefishes, nudibranches and flatworms. He was considerate of all divers and also taught the experienced of us a lot of new things. Even while snorkeling, we were able to observe a manta ray extensively at a cleaning station. All three dive guides were great. There was a great crew, great guests and the food was delicious, so we give it a 10 out of 10 overall. It was a very memorable liveaboard!

Amazing experience!
Fabulous trip! Jem and his crew are so kind and welcoming and made the trip so comfortable. Great mixture of diving and trekking with dive guides who are fish! Felt so safe with them. Epic dives especially with the mantas! Exceeded my expectations and highly recommend 😊
