The Carpe Diem liveaboard is well-known for having a focus on superior service and quality. There are 10 cabins onboard spread over 3 decks with the choice of cabin standards, each with en-suite bathrooms and AC. On the lower deck are 6 standard cabins, 4 of which have 2 single beds which can be converted to doubles and the other 2 each have one single bed and one semi bunk bed. On the main deck are two double cabins with queen size beds and the upper deck has 1 deluxe cabin with a queen bed and 1 suite with a king bed. All main and upper deck cabins feature a smart TV and stunning sea views. Social areas are spread out over 3 decks and encompass an indoor salon, outdoor terrace and dining area, and sundeck with comfortable loungers.
Dive itineraries aboard the MV Carpe Diem liveaboard are 7 or 10-nights long and explore some of the best dive sites in the Maldives, including Kudarah Thila, Manta Point, Maaya Thila, Fish Head, and Machafushi wreck. Get up close with mantas, whale sharks, nurse sharks, reef sharks, turtles, and huge schools of fish in the stunning Indian Ocean. The incredibly experienced dive crew is on hand to ensure the perfect Maldives liveaboard experience. Diving takes place from the dedicated diving Dhoni, where there is plenty of room for gear storage, rinsing, and kitting up. Free nitrox is also available for those certified.

High standard of care, high quality of service and an excellent overall experience
The crew take care of literally everything from the moment you board, always people to carry this or that, fetch whatever you desire (within their power) and will help you if you're not feeling well. Good safety standards. The dive boat (little one pictured) includes hot showers, so by the time you're back on the main boat (done every dive) you're ready to go relax or eat or whatever. Dive guides know the sites very well and assist you with things like dive hook attachment when they're needed.

My first time
Despite ropey weather (extending shoulder season), the trip was amazing, saw everything I wanted, safely and efficiently. Great team. Food was really good, and much better than I expected. Worth knowing you get into Male on Friday pm 1600, might have done other things as Male is not the best part of the (amazing) Maldives

Again an phantastic Divesafaritrip with Carpe (Diem&Vita)
This Trip was again a Highlight for Safaricruises in the maledives. Excellence helpful Crew and Instructors, bevor, during and after the dives. Vessel is a little bit older but good in shape and technical top. Highlights: i‘ve enjoyed all offered 25dives. We have had chopy water conditions in the north of maledives, so they changed the route. This was absolutly no problem for me, because the have orderd a Inland flight for me from Male to Dharavandhoo. Great Trip

Amazing trip - great dives - great people
We saw so many different sharks and their was practically no other divers it was amazing. First time diving with Nitrox and all worked perfectly. Very professional crew. Not the last time I go on a liveaboard :-)

One of the best liveaboard experience
The staffs were always friendly and ready to help. No matter what you need and what you want, they are there to help. Open communication, smiling faces, we are more than happy to spend the last few days with the crews. Dives were also perfect managed, one of the most memorial experiences.

Ideal live-aboard dive holiday
Mid day snacks and all meals were excellent. The made local traditional food as well as typical western food. They even shared recipes with us. Everyone on the boat was very attentive to our needs. The dive guides were very professional and had great pre-dive briefings. Even the bar keeper was super friendly helping me stop dolphins. Book any trip with the Carpe Maldives company and you will be more than satisfied.

A week in heaven on the Carpe Diem
Our first time on a week long liveaboard. Fabulous! The Carpe Diem was kept clean and well run. The dive lead Munkko was excellent at keeping everyone informed. All the crew was friendly and attentive and all the dive guides were helpful and pleasant. Munkko was our private guide for the week and was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to work on improving skills with my 16 year old and helped me obtain my advanced certification. The dive sites were carefully picked daily. Of course wildlife doesn’t always comply. We checked many reef shark cleaning stations with great rewards but the mantas were elusive until we were snorkeling on the last day. They found tons of macro life. We also went diving at a spot with large sharks in Male by the marina and enjoyed lemon, tiger and bull sharks along with giant rays. Incredible. The beach bar b que night was a night shore break at a beautiful location under the stars. Fabulous operation. Smoothly run. Great crew. Beautiful part of the world.
