The Carpe Diem liveaboard is well-known for having a focus on superior service and quality. There are 10 cabins onboard spread over 3 decks with the choice of cabin standards, each with en-suite bathrooms and AC. On the lower deck are 6 standard cabins, 4 of which have 2 single beds which can be converted to doubles and the other 2 each have one single bed and one semi bunk bed. On the main deck are two double cabins with queen size beds and the upper deck has 1 deluxe cabin with a queen bed and 1 suite with a king bed. All main and upper deck cabins feature a smart TV and stunning sea views. Social areas are spread out over 3 decks and encompass an indoor salon, outdoor terrace and dining area, and sundeck with comfortable loungers.
Dive itineraries aboard the MV Carpe Diem liveaboard are 7 or 10-nights long and explore some of the best dive sites in the Maldives, including Kudarah Thila, Manta Point, Maaya Thila, Fish Head, and Machafushi wreck. Get up close with mantas, whale sharks, nurse sharks, reef sharks, turtles, and huge schools of fish in the stunning Indian Ocean. The incredibly experienced dive crew is on hand to ensure the perfect Maldives liveaboard experience. Diving takes place from the dedicated diving Dhoni, where there is plenty of room for gear storage, rinsing, and kitting up. Free nitrox is also available for those certified.

Amazing crew along with fantastic dives to make the a perfect dive vacation.
What a fantastic trip we had! The crew does everything in their might to make this liveaboard a perfect cruise. Underwater, we saw sharks on 95% of our dives, plenty of mantas, along with other rays and giants schools of fish. The food was also a highlight with the chef keeping us full between dives :)

Excellent boat and a great week of diving
Carpe Diem is a very large & well laid out boat. The standard twin cabin was very large and well appointed. Food and drinks were excellent, one of the best menus I have experienced on a liveaboard trip. Daily fresh towels were provided for after the dives. Dive Briefings were well run & the organisation of the boat, dives, briefing, safety was all to a very high standard.

Again an phantastic Divesafaritrip with Carpe (Diem&Vita)
This Trip was again a Highlight for Safaricruises in the maledives. Excellence helpful Crew and Instructors, bevor, during and after the dives. Vessel is a little bit older but good in shape and technical top. Highlights: i‘ve enjoyed all offered 25dives. We have had chopy water conditions in the north of maledives, so they changed the route. This was absolutly no problem for me, because the have orderd a Inland flight for me from Male to Dharavandhoo. Great Trip

The Magnificent Maldives on Carpe Diem!
This was my first liveabord experience and it was fantastic! The knowledge of the dive team, the locations we set out to were amazing. Thanks you Munkko, Saaz and Wathey. There pre dive briefings were very informative and set the tone for the dives. The rooms were very comfortable and always well maintained by our smiling friend Subuj! Our meals were delicious and well balanced thanks to our chef and bartender: Nilanka and Mahey! Special note of gratitude to Captain Issey and engineer Adam for getting me to some awesome reefs! And Koko and the rest of the crew for their hard work in making this trip a flawless experience. I cannot wait to share this with my friends and return. With gratitude, Susan

Excellent Maldives liveaboard
Review of Carpe Diem Cruises Maldives My second trip on this vessel and it was just as excellent as the first one 2 years ago. The staff are so important on a Liveaboard as they have such an influence on the experience and the Carpe Diem crew are truly outstanding from the Captain down . Everyone is so friendly and professional even during Ramadan. The food is amazing. The bar is very well stocked and I loved the Margaritas. This is one of the few boats that have ice cold Lion Lager on tap…. so refreshing after a long day of diving and very reasonable prices. Seriously, you need look no further. Air conditioned spacious ensuite cabins, good internet and fresh dive towels everyday. Free Nitrox which, in my experience, is exceptional. I will be booking a 3rd trip with this company. They have 3 boats to choose from: Carpe Diem, Carpe Nova and Carpe Vita. Enjoy.

Good times cruising the Southern Maldives
The scenery while cruising around the Maldivian Atolls is stunning. The Diving was good and water’s warm, even though the highlight dives are artificial. The Boat was comfortable and the Crew were accommodating.

Feel very priviledged to have seen such beauty above & below the water
The boat was terrific with attentive staff for every need, food was superb. Diving was awesome & to watch the Manta's I was in awe of such grace & beauty. Night dive with the Nurse Sharks was mind blowing.

Very nice diving holidays
We spent one week on board of Carpe Diem. The boat is usually occupied by 22 divers and we were only 13 so there was more than enough space on the boat. Our main deck cabin was small yet very nice. The food was amazing. The bartender Shawn prepares delicious cocktails. The sundeck is large with several sunbeds. Diving was average for the region and the dives were not very demanding. There are in average 3 dives a day: around 7 am, 10 am and afternoon. Only one dive was with some stronger current. The entire boat crew is really wonderful: professional, dive guides know the area, attentive and very nice. We have spent a really nice diving holiday.
