Good Mix of Diving and Cruising
We had an amazing time on the Situju7. The diving was as good as expected, with mostly healthy reefs and incredibly diverse marine life. Also, two excellent manta dives and plenty of sharks. This is a very laid-back experience with fewer dives than many liveaboards (just 2-3 per day) but lots of time to relax on the boat and enjoy the scenery. Snacks and beer on the top deck for sunset was a daily ritual and there were just enough excursions to mix things up a bit (Piaynemo viewpoint, a beach, snorkelling, lagoon trip). It isn't a luxurious boat but it was still very comfortable (A/C and showers in every room) and excellent value compared to many of the trips in this area.

Spectacular in every way!
Each day you could look forward to. Our accommodations very nice, the food was very delicious, and everyone on the boat made in stay so enjoyable. Our divres were always enjoyable with amazing sea life, and views that where spectacular, I feel we actually believe we experienced so much more than what we could emagine. The crew on the Situju7 really make your say enjoyable, and go the extra efforts to make each excursion rememberable.👍

Great diving with a good group of people. Boat has a few issues
Overall a really good diving week aboard Situju7, with a lovely group of people. Raja Ampat really delivered on its promises thanks to good dive guides, especially Manu who made every effort to find multiple pygmy seashorses and other tiny critters. Diving gear was adequate. Food was okay and the boat was clean though we had smells of diesel fumes in our room (Sumba) on several nights and the AC was a bit tempremental and not that cold.

One of the best!
This was one of my favourite trips I’ve ever been on. The crew were friendly & went above & beyond to ensure I was enjoying myself. The boat & cabin were very spacious, comfortable & had all I needed. The food was fresh & delicious! Above all every day was filled with beautiful scenery, exploring islands and marine life that is next to none! I cannot recommend this trip enough :)

The crew were very friendly and always happy to help or have a chat. Always knew where to take us and when, so it wasn’t crowded on the water. Boat was clean and food was served with large portions. Highly recommend. Best way to see Indonesia

Great experience
First of all, it should be said that it was our first liveaboard liveaboard and therefore we cannot compare. Overall, we liked it very much. The boat was really nice. We were able to sleep well in our bed below deck. The food was great, I got delicious vegetarian alternatives on request. The highlight was of course the diving and we explored great dive spots and were always in the best hands of the guides. The equipment (we borrowed everything except masks) was also good.Small adjustments to the daily routines / spots were also possible in consultation between guides and group. The crew was very nice overall (even though only the 3 guides spoke English) and the trips to lagoons and islands were a great change.

All round great diving tour: recommended
Had a great trip on Situju7. Lots of amazing dives and great time chilling on the boat in between. When we saw most of the other boats we felt very lucky to be on Sutuju.
Recommended for
The boat itself was really nice with good sunloungers and nice cabins. Our dive guide Ronny was very experienced and know where to find the best fish and also keep us safe. The food was good quality and varied.

Such a wonderful time. Ito and Vigi were phenomenal. I had our 6ur old with us and the crew was so accommodating. We didn't and would never ask anyone watch him so we swapped dives so we could stay with him. That said, the crew would still play with him and even let him steer the small dingy during our snorkeling. I hope I get to sail with them again in the future. 1000/10 recommend.

Great Crew and Spacious
The Raja Ampat tour on Situju was a great trip overall. The crew and dive masters were excellent- Vighy ran the boat and dive planning very well, Ricky was knowledgeable and friendly with all the guests and Manu’s local expertise combined to make a fantastic dive team. The boat crew are all super helpful and good was filling. While the Situju 7 is a little less luxurious than some of the other operators, the small number of guests relative to the size of the boat makes for a comfortable experience above deck. Our trip was great value for money and I would go again with Situju on another trip.

Highlight of our holiday!
This trip was a highlight of our holiday! There was incredible diving, helpful staff and it didn’t feel crowded. It was well planned, and we felt in capable hands. Shout out to Vigi and Ito for ensuring we went to some great dive sites.

Raja Ampat is a divers paradise. The reefs are very healthy and diverse. The fish are abundant. The guides were great at finding seahorses, nudibranchs, sharks, etc. The crew managed all the gear. The trekking outings were fun. The food was good.

An unforgettable liveaboard experience with incredible diving, a wonderful crew, great food, and a beautiful atmosphere that already has us planning our next trip.
Overall, the experience was truly wonderful and memorable. We had an amazing group onboard, from the crew members to the other passengers, which made the trip even more special. The dive sites were absolutely beautiful, and the dive guides were fantastic. They were incredibly skilled at spotting interesting marine life (and some of the smallest nudibranchs I've ever seen!). The food was also much better than expected, with plenty of variety and options for different tastes and dietary preferences. There was usually a vegetarian option along with two additional protein choices at each meal. If I could change one small thing, I would have loved a bit more water pressure in the shower. But honestly, when you’re living on a beautiful boat in such a picturesque location, it’s hard to complain about much at all. My husband and I are already talking about booking another liveaboard trip, and we would absolutely choose this same boat again to explore Raja Ampat.

So happy we chose situju7!
We did the 6N/7D liveaboard in Raja Ampat, and it was absolutely incredible. We were a little nervous as we're fairly newly certified divers but we felt safe and taken care of with Vhigy and Manu and all the dive spots were magical. The reefs in Raja Ampat are so alive with so so many fish, mantas, sharks, and macro life. The food was really great, crew super friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed the Bali suite with plenty of windows and amazing sunsets from our huge private deck. The excursions were also so much fun - to the Piaynemo viewpoint, jellyfish lagoon, and to see the red birds of paradise. The only caveat is that they didn't always follow the schedule they told us and communications could've been a bit clearer but that didn't really impact our positive experience.

Great diving experience, with flaws
Diving and especially Manta Ridge were sensational, the dive guides were very knowledgeable, the food great and all the staff very friendly.Unfortunately, not all described excursions were carried out, the boat was not in great condition (generator was broken and often off during the day, a lot of vermin also in the bed, exhaust fumes often disturbing) and the staff was very overloaded, as they never have even a day break and no beds to sleep on.

Incredible Diving, Great Crew – Some Comfort Trade-Offs
Here’s your revised 4-star review: ⸻ We recently did a 7-day liveaboard trip in Raja Ampat on the Situju 7, and overall it was a great experience with a few notable downsides. First, the positives: the diving was absolutely incredible. Raja Ampat truly lives up to its reputation, with stunning reefs, amazing marine life, and unforgettable dive sites. The crew was fantastic – very friendly, attentive, and always doing their best to make everyone feel comfortable. The food on board was also a big highlight: delicious, varied, and more than enough throughout the trip. That said, there are some areas that need improvement. The condition of the cabins was not ideal – there was a noticeable smell of diesel and sewage, which made it less comfortable than expected. We also encountered a few cockroaches on board, which shouldn’t happen at this price point. Additionally, the generator noise was quite loud and could be heard 24/7, which made it harder to fully relax, especially at night. Overall, despite these issues, we had an amazing time thanks to the world-class diving, great crew, and excellent food. With some improvements to maintenance, cleanliness, and noise levels, this could easily be a 5-star experience.

Underwater wow, but above water average
The underwater world of Raja Ampat is beautiful, the water is clear & warm and the marine life is glorious. The live aboard idea is great, but the reality is noisier, dirtier and less tantalising than we’d hoped. Everything was adequate and nothing was extraordinary. The crew did their best with the basic provisions and training provided and were (for the most part) friendly and helpful.

Good trip but unavailable cruise director and lacking boat upkeep
The trip was great, with fantastic diving in Komodo and a sufficiently comfortable boat. I believe it could have even better, however, had the cruise director taken his job seriously and the operator invested in basic maintenance and upkeep of the boat: the cruise director was only around just before the dives for the briefing, didn’t check in with guests, and did not organize the cruise and activities. Hence we were constantly behind schedule, and some points on the program, e.g. beach excursions etc., did not take place. It was also unsatisfying for the guests to wait around quite a lot for the cruise director and crew to get ready, as they took long time after the briefing to get ready. The boat was lacking in basic upkeep, and even after alerting the crew that there is no hot water in the shower it wasn’t fixed; the AC in another cabin didn’t work during the trip; the dinghies were very worn-out. Finally, when one diver felt unwell after a dive and needed oxygen, it took quite some time to set up the equipment, and the crew didn’t seem confident in their operations of it. Also food was average at best - for a liveaboard in Indonesia one would have expected more fresh seafood and Sambal. The crew overall were nice and friendly, and our dive guide Manu was amazing, adjusting the level of the dives to our abilities and being as excited about the diving as we were.

All in all, the trip was really nice, of course the dives were the highlights and the big beautiful suite we had booked.We only had the problem that the engine or a generator was running continuously and that directly under the room, so it was really very loud at night and the vibrations were also very strong. The food was delicious, we would have liked a bit more variety. Overall, everything was still a bit disorganized. There was no fixed plan when there was food, there was no spare equipment on board in case something didn't fit or should break, and the plan of the day was explained to us rather on request. But the whole crew was really nice and accommodating and we would go back on the boat and do the liveaboard.

Fabulous, wish we could have stayed longer.
The counters where you ate lunch were too far from the seating. The food however was excellent. There was only beer on board. We expected alcohol like wine with dinner. Our room Flores 4 was very comfortable however we did not have hot water in the shower at all throughout the trip. The father a daughter who had the on-deck cabin really struggled with diesel fumes and smoke from the generators coming into their cabin.

Basic snorkeling in Raja Ampat
We've just returned from a seven-day tour through Raja Ampat on the Situju7. The diving area is, of course, excellent. We snorkelers were also very well looked after, with a different spot chosen and expertly guided each day. The crew is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, communication in English was only possible sporadically. It would have been nice to get to know the crew better. Consequently, the briefings and debriefings were rather basic. The food was okay. We didn't get sick. The ship's equipment is also basic, far from luxury. Most things work, but some doors don't close properly. The air conditioning is a bit temperamental, and unfortunately, the noise from the generator and engine in our cabin was quite intense. On top of that, there was the diesel fumes. This could definitely be improved. Over the course of the week, the insect infestation with beetles and cockroaches worsened considerably. A thorough disinfection and insect extermination are definitely needed. This is, of course, a common problem in Asia.
