Highlights
Built with divers' needs in mind, M/Y Black Pearl offers week-long itineraries to Palau, one of the world's top diving destinations. There are 11 guest cabins that cater to 22 guests. Each cabin features twin beds, ensuite bathrooms, AC, and a safety deposit box. The new 200x210cm latex mattresses with 300-thread count Egyptian will submerge guests in luxury and comfort.
Social areas include a large sun deck with beach beds, tanning benches, and a 6-person jacuzzi. The outdoor terrace located at the back of the boat is ideal for a sundowner and to reflect on the day’s adventures.
The M/Y Black Pearl features a comfortable dive deck fitted with anti-slip flooring, a designated camera maintenance area with a low-pressure air gun and work table, and 2 fully-kitted diving skiffs. Palau is known for having some of the best diving in the world, with a huge variety of marine life, deep drop-offs, wrecks, and cave systems. Itineraries visit some of the most notable dive sites in Palau, including Blue Holes and Blue Corner. The cruise also includes the visit to the stunning Jellyfish Lake for a memorable snorkeling session among hundreds of harmless jellyfish. The Black Pearl doesn't require a high number of logged dives, however, to join this trip, divers should be comfortable diving in current as these can be unpredictable and quite strong in some divesites. Inexperienced and beginner-level divers may find some dives quite challenging and may be asked by the Cruise Director to skip dives that are unsuitable for their diving experience level.

Fantastic week on the Black Pearl
The highlight of our trip was probably the early morning Bumphead parrotfish new moon spawning in Palau. We had never seen anything like this before. But many dives were truly outstanding. Free nitrox allowed us to use it for every dive. It would be easy to gain weight on this trip because the food is terrific and there’s a lot of it! Most importantly the dive team and the boat crew were wonderful. We highly recommend The Black Pearl.

Good trip and enjoyed it.
Beautiful water and land. Wonderful boat. good service. The food was less than average. Breakfast was ok, dinner below average. Lunch ok. The bed was hard like a Prison bed, awful. Again, loved the boat itself. Food choices were limited. Pre breakfast did not exist (toast).

Great ship .
The extra days some of us stayed . We ha d only three divers plus the D.M. we did three dives they were all good including Ulong Channel again with better visibility . This time around we saw more of everything .

The experience was average.
There were very few highlights. The mattress was hard. Only 3 dives a day. Instead of staying out and doing two tank dives, we went back and forth on the rough seas doing one tank dives at a time. The trip was below expectations.

Best birthday ever
I was so lucky to spend my birthday vacation at Black Pearl liveaboard. The crew treated me very special. The food quality was good. Excellent level of cleanness. Beautiful rooms and I was able to work out cause they have a rower and a bicycle. Dive sites were wonderful.

Nice Dive Experience but some services need improvement
Blue Corner, Ulong Channel and German Channel Dives, the latter for Manta Rays. There are a few areas for improvement: 1) Food quality is average for a cruise in that price range; 2) Coffee machine was broken; 3) Draft beer was not available. In a nutshell, the boat is in some need of maintenance. However, both cruise directors were nice and very professional and the crew provided excellent client service.

Great diving week
Very friendly staff, dives were good. Food was good but could even be better. The visit to Jelly fish lake is not needed if there are no more golden jelly fishes. Some cool extra diving activity or experience could be better organized. Overall I would definitely recommend.
