Newly built in 2015, the traditional sailing phinisi Cajoma IV offers epic liveaboard dive trips in Komodo from April - December each year. Cruises are 3-nights/4-days long, and explore the diverse area of this National Park. The itineraries have been planned with divers needs in mind, and the maximum amount of dives is on offer whilst keeping group sizes small (4:1 ratio). The schedules cover some of Komodo's best dive sites, including Manta Point and Castle Rock to see mantas and sharks, as well as incredible muck dives to see amazing critters. Add to that a land visit to see Komodo Dragons and flying foxes, and you have the perfect short Komodo dive trip.
Topside the modern 30m Cajoma IV liveaboard caters to just 8 guests in 4 en-suite cabins. There is a master cabin with private balcony located on the main deck, and 2 x doubles and 1 x twin cabin located on the lower deck. All cabins have en-suite bathrooms and air-conditioning. Social areas include a large sun deck, jacuzzi, outdoor dining area and indoor lounge, bar and kitchen. Fresh meals are provided with a wide variety of local Indonesian cuisine and western dishes on offer.
The friendly, passionate and experienced crew of the Cajoma IV liveaboard are ready and waiting to help you experience a Komodo dive liveaboard to remember. Call us or book online today to reserve your space.

Great Diving but strong currents
Seeing the many mantas, the hike to viewpoint for sunset and all the great diving. Would do this trip again on the same boat.

Incredible experience, would recommend to everyone
- Top notch diving equipment (most of it brand new), really really improved the diving experience - Guides were super helpful and knowledgeable, and really made the trip memorable - Boat had everything we could ask for in terms of comfort, good food, etc. Only negative: They allow novice open water divers on the same trip. We had a person in my group who didn't even know how to put on a BCD, and could not descend properly, maintain buoyancy, ascend properly, etc. and was just overall clueless. The divemaster was super helpful, but every so often we had to cut dives short/avoid areas because of this (Komodo has some nice dives with strong currents that we avoided), and it became a little tiring towards the end because something or the other was always going wrong...

- Incredible guides, great food, top notch equipment
Excellent diving and incredible food.
Manta rays, sea horses, and cuttlefish. Water was warm, and currents were strong but managable. Cabins were comfortable and more than roomy enough. Note that they don't pick you up from the airport, but they do pick you up from the hotel to bring you to the docks. Taxis are cheap and easy to find at the airport.

The best diving trip in my whole 25+ years diving carrier !
All the dive sites we went to, were just amazing and with the help of our experienced dive instuctor we could even handle and enjoy the extreme drift dives. All the very delicious meals the crew served us 3 times a day were so tasty and well choosen. The warm shower we were able to take in our own cabin after all the fantastic dives were really welcome.

Amazing diving!
We really enjoyed the sunset hike and surface intervals relaxing on the boat. The diving was amazing - so many sharks, turtles and tropical fish! Two of the dive sites were very unique drift dives that I hadn't done before - the divemasters were great at helping us in the current. The food was good - you won't get hungry!
