The M/Y Aqua liveaboard in the Galapagos offers the choice of 7-night diving itineraries or 3, 4 or 5-night naturalist itineraries. Nine cabins spread over 3 decks cater to 16 guests onboard and a choice of twin or matrimonial bedding. Each room features a private en-suite bathroom, individually controlled air-conditioning, and storage space. Main and upper deck cabins also have picture windows to offer sea views. Social areas dotted around the yacht include a shaded outside lounge, sun deck, indoor lounge, and library and dining area. The cuisine served on board combines local Ecuadorian and international cuisine.
A wide range of activities is included in all itineraries, giving guests a chance to get up close and experience the unique wildlife of the Galapagos Islands. Naturalist cruises include guided hikes, bird-watching, and incredible photography opportunities. Divers will be blown away by the amazing marine biodiversity, with the chance to see whale sharks, schooling hammerheads, and even Mola Mola. A spacious dive deck has plenty of room for kitting up and gear storage. Two diving tenders make diving from the MY Aqua a comfortable experience, and enriched air nitrox is available for those certified. Divers will also receive a personal marine rescue GPS, a storm whistle, a diving beacon, and a surface marker tube for added safety and peace of mind.
Note: 50 logged dives is the minimum required experience for the Aqua, due to the more advanced conditions of certain dive sites.

The dive sites and the people I met made this experience amazing!! Boat comfortable and great food!
Diving the Galapagos is absolutely amazing and the itinerary on this boat is varied and allows you to see diversity. It’s one of the lower costs boats yet it exceeded my expectations with respect to the cabin comfort, cleanliness, and good food. There was 12 crew members for 16 divers so there was always someone around. I liked their covered deck and top deck, however no shade at the top. There were only 2 guides for 16 divers which doesn’t feel like enough, and makes the groups big. One of the guides was wonderful! Yet the other one in my opinion, was not great. He was honestly mean to people and didn’t seem to like doing the dives, with sometimes wanting to finish a dive too early for no reason. We learned later when he apologized that he wasn’t feeling well, which maybe if there were other guides, they could have swapped or something, so that we could all feel comfortable.

Nitrox should have been included in the price, since it us almost compulsiry to use it in this kind of diving trip. For the rest, all very good and pleasant. Extraordinary dive masters

Diving the Galapagos was a bucket list item. This trip crossed it off and then immediately put it right back on again. Daniel and Jesus were brilliant dive guides and ensured we saw everything there was. The crew are brilliant too and work well together. They operate like ninjas where tasks are done without you even seeing or asking. Well oiled machine!

Incredible experience with a great company!
Easy to book, beautiful and clean boat, loved the eating and hanging out areas, comfortable bed, and incredible scenery. More wildlife than I could have dreamed! Food was plentiful and so many options. Delicious every day!

Good value for money for Galapagos liveaboard. I hope this becomes a “twice in a lifetime experience”
Amazing liveaboard experience in the Galapagos. The crew was very friendly and helpful, the boat was well maintained, great value for money overall in that part of the world. I had my own equipment so cannot comment on the quality of rental equipment. Plenty of food, various options always available. We were lucky to also have a great group of divers and had good times on board as well as underwater

Great adventure
It was an incredible getaway. The islands have their own energy as does the ocean and its inhabitants. You will have the chance to see great things - but best is to go with no expectations. The ocean shows you what it wants to show you - in my case a whale shark, two sunfishes and a sea turtle threesome

Amazing itinerary and guiding, wonderful staff - highly recommended!
This cruise exceeded all my expectations! The itinerary is undoubtedly the best you can get for a week, tailormade for exploring all the most amazing endemic species of Galapagos. Thanks to our guides (Christian "Cocarocha" and Christian Garcia) we encountered whale sharks, eagle rays, giant manta, other stingrays and peruvian torpedo rays, octopus, red-lipped batfish, mola-mola (moon fish), marine iguanas, sea lions, Galapagos sharks, hundreds of hammerheads and turtles. The friendly and helpful staff made it as effortless as a liveaboard cruise with 19 dives in a week can possibly be. And hey - the Chef: Totally awesome! New dishes each day with local food (a lot from the sea), neatly arranged on our plates. Apetizers and dessert. In practice, two dinners per day. Undoubtedly, the trip of our lifetime!

Great diving
Aqua is a comfortable boat with a wonderful crew. Food, drinks, and facilities were excellent. Rental gear is in very good shape and the crew maintains the boats and equipment very well. The crew and dive guides prioritize safe diving. They were also very flexible and rearranged the itinerary to fit the conditions as best as possible. The diving was great - all kinds of sharks, rays and mola mola, etc. Plus, unlike other dive boats, Aqua’s dive guides are also naturalists and were able to lead panga visits to islands so we could learn about and photograph wildlife above the water between dives. Great trip, we highly recommend it!
