Highlights
The Amelie Safari liveaboard offers a more intimate Red Sea dive experience with just 12 guests onboard. There are 6 comfortable cabins located on the lower deck, each with twin bunk beds, storage space, charging area, and port-hole windows. There are also 2 shared bathrooms with freshwater showers. Social areas include the cosy indoor saloon, dining room, and drinks station, where freshly prepared Egyptian cuisine will be served buffet-style. The whole top deck is an open area with an outdoor covered lounge. Sun -lovers have the choice of 3 areas to sunbathe, including the front deck and high deck which have comfy mattresses to lounge on in-between dives.
Amelie Safari is perfect for a short Red Sea adventure with 3-night itineraries available for those short on time, or longer 7-night itineraries for those that want to enjoy a full week of diving in the Red Sea. There is a large dive deck at the back of the boat with more than enough room for divers to get ready, and Nitrox is also included in the trip price for those certified. Amelie Safari can also be hired out for private charter, perfect for small groups of friends and family.

My first ever liveaboard experience couldn't have been better!
We had the best experience on the Amelie. We were only 3 people on board, so it felt like a very private trip. My highlights: 1) The friendliness and hospitality of the crew, which made our four days at Amelie truly amazing. We always received help with preparing and putting up our equipment, and with everything we needed. 2) The dive sites. Every site was chosen very carefully by our guide, Hashim, to avoid diver/tourist crowds. He has 30+ years of experience in the area, and he took us to the most amazing sites. He also pays attention to animals' well-being, which was another +. 3) The food. We had the best local, homemade dishes on the boat during our trip in Egypt – better than at 5* hotels. We always had something nice to eat or snack on, and received nice juices or hot chocolate after every dive. We loved the experience, and we will be back for sure! Thank you to the crew for making this one of my most memorable vacations.

As Arnold said: I'll be back
It's great enough to find an octopus, but if it's a boxer and he shows it right under your nose and you can record it, it's priceless. Special mention for the dolphin who came to see us one of the last days, the experience of seeing some of his gigantic moray eels hunting at night and the beautiful white moray eels that I only saw in one place and they were beautiful. Apart from those special moments, it's like he's stuck in a fish tank with visibility that's incredible.

Incredible Service and diving
The other people on the tour were great as was the atmosphere. The food was incredible, we were so often surprised with cake, fruit bowls and strawberry milk. The diving was incredible and the hot shower afterwards wonderful. Thank you for an breathtaking trip.

It was my third time on the Amelie and once again wonderful. The crew and guides are super warm and helpful, the Red Sea is a dream for diving, you are a small group that quickly becomes familiar, the food is world class. I highly recommend it to everyone, both the mini safari and the longer tour. The tour is also suitable for diving beginners, the crew and guides (this time Mostafa, Khaled and Mohamed) support where they can and take care of everyone. You can also do other courses (aowd, nitrox). Would have preferred to stay on the boat again. Recommendation 10/10.

Fantastic safari!
Everyone in the boat made the trip feel unique as they adapted it to our requests and needs. We chose the dives we wanted and we got to swim with wild dolphins after one of the dives! It was amazing!
