Highlights
The Mandarin Queen 9 (Jovanna) is a 37.5-meter/123-foot-long liveaboard, offering diving adventures across the Andaman Sea. It features 13 spacious cabins—8 on the upper deck and 5 on the lower deck—accommodating 26 guests. The master cabins on both decks come with queen-size beds and en-suite bathrooms. The twin cabins also offer en-suite bathrooms, with the upper deck cabins boasting sea views. Each cabin has air conditioning, a television, a closet, and amenities like towels, a hair dryer, and bottled water.
Guests will enjoy 4 expansive decks, including a sun deck with a hot tub and sunbathing area. The camera room has five workstations, rinse tanks, and a dive platform. The vessel provides free Nitrox for up to 15 dives, and there's a saloon with entertainment options like PlayStation 5 and Nintendo. Four buffet-style meals are served daily, featuring Thai and Western cuisine, with vegetarian and vegan options available upon request.
The Mandarin Queen 9 offers 4-day, 4-night liveaboard trips to some of the Andaman Sea’s most iconic dive sites. Guests can explore the Similan Islands, Surin Islands, and Richelieu Rock in the North Andaman. At the same time, the South Andaman itinerary covers Koh Haa, Hin Muang, Hin Daeng, and Phi Phi Islands.

An unforgettable liveaboard experience – absolutely outstanding!
I had an incredible time on this liveaboard. Everything was perfectly organized, the Queen Mandarin 9 was in excellent condition, and both the diving and the life on board exceeded all expectations. The equipment provided was high-quality, well-maintained, and the lovely crew took care of absolutely everything: helping with entering and exiting the water, setting up and removing equipment, carrying and cleaning gear, and always being there with a smile. The cabins were clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned, making the stay even more relaxing. We were spoiled with delicious food around the clock – several warm buffet-style meals a day, plenty of snacks like chips and instant dishes, and even an ice cream machine. A special shout-out goes to the kitchen and cleaning staff, who worked tirelessly in the background to make this smooth and enjoyable experience possible. Between dives, there was never a dull moment: a big TV with a wide media library, two massage chairs, a PS5, a Nintendo Switch, and lots of cozy spaces to relax or find privacy. Truly the perfect setup for comfort and entertainment. The dive sites were spectacular, with highlights like Koh Bon and Richelieu Rock, offering an incredible variety of marine life – from schooling fish and vibrant reefs to breathtaking macro sightings. Another major highlight: during the dives, the dive masters captured professional photos and videos, giving everyone unforgettable memories to take home. The group itself was a wonderful mix of ages and nationalities, creating a warm, friendly, and fun atmosphere where everyone connected and shared experiences. In short: a beautifully organized, welcoming, and absolutely unforgettable liveaboard adventure. I can recommend it 100%, and I would return in a heartbeat.

Luxury Ship
The Mandarin Queen is a very beautiful ship, she offers a lot of luxury. Only the cabin was not very clean and the shower needed a renovation. Otherwise everything is great! The two dive boats are also great and the dive service was perfect. The bath towels are always ready after diving and are dried again after each use. The food was varied and delicious and the staff always very friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back to this ship.

Great experience
We were satisfied and happy that we chose Mandarin Queen 9 for our first liveaboard. There were movies and games available in-between dives and at night after dives to pass time. Food was great. Free flow snacks and drinks. Alcohol was available onboard and affordable. Crew was experienced and great and always made sure we were comfortable. Dive conditions were not the best but that’s not something that can be controlled but was still good!

Unforgettable Diving Experience with Mandarin Queen 9
We had an incredible time aboard the Mandarin Queen 9, exploring the stunning dive sites of the North Andaman Sea over four days. With 15 dives in total, we were fortunate to have fantastic weather, excellent visibility, and mild currents, making each dive truly spectacular. The crew was outstanding—friendly, professional, and always ensuring our safety and comfort. Everything was well-organized, yet the schedule never felt rushed. With four dives a day, we still had plenty of time to relax and soak in the beautiful surroundings. The food was exceptional - plentiful, fresh, and delicious, with a great variety of salads, fruits, and hot dishes daily. My friend, who is vegetarian, was especially impressed by the care taken to prepare separate, equally delicious meals for her. The boat itself was spacious and well-equipped, all en-suite rooms, offering a comfortable and enjoyable stay. A special shoutout to Picnic, the manager, whose dedication and hospitality truly made our trip even more memorable. Thank you to the entire Mandarin Queen 9 team for an amazing experience—we can’t wait to return! Highly recommended for any diving enthusiast.

Excellent liveaboard.
Excellent boat. Very attentive to diver needs. Fantastic range and amount of food. Excellent dive briefings for each dive site. Diving was great but challenging currents at times and generally below 20m.

Amazing experience with my dive leader and all staff onboard
I had a great time onboard the Mandarin Queen 9. My dive leader Teuy is very experienced, has excellent communication skills and a fun personality. All staff are friendly and professional, always ready to help. Another highlight is the Thai style buffets we had onboard. There are 3 full meals a day and morning and afternoon snacks. We were very well fed during the trip.

Excellent Dive Platform
This is not a luxury boat, but its function as a dive boat is superior. A well organized dive platform, great rental gear, space to store stuff, and the crew who took care of everything is what makes a great boat. Most importantly, the boat tender that dropped divers at the dive sites was EXCELLENT. Most other boats have little zodiacs, but Mandarin's steel hull tenders did well during the storms we experienced. They are safer and more comfortable. Our dive guide Tuey was wonderful. Food was good. The chef took great care in accommodating our vegan diets. The saloon has a nice TV for movies and a separate gaming TV. Super comfortable sofas and blankets. Rooms are basic and small, but we enjoyed the large window and the TV was nice when the weather was bad.
