The Gros Plan catamaran departs from Nosy Be, Madagascar, for sensational diving in the Indian Ocean. Itineraries are 6 days long and explore either the southern Radames archipelago or the northern Mitsio islands. Divers can get up close with leopard sharks, turtles, whale sharks, whales, Spanish dancers, stunning coral reefs, swim-throughs, and wrecks. Complete Diving and Discovery Experience in Nosy Be
An excellent option for sailing and diving in the Gulf of Nosy Be (Madagascar). Very friendly and professional staff, excellent and very varied cuisine and good dives (special mention to the night dives).August is possibly not the best season to see large sharks (we saw some of them), but the landscape and underwater diversity are great.

Totally worth it!
We had a great time aboard Gros Plan. The food was delicious, ever single time. The trip in general was really nice and also the trips to the islands and the fishermen were amazing. Diving was also great but not spectacular. We didn’t spot many pelagic animals, but a lot of macro. I think that introducing a 3rd dive per day would be a great idea. With „only“ two dives you are done diving by lunch most of the time.

Great company for a diving experience
The trip was really nice. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the diving was good. The staff was very friendly. We had great weather and went to beautiful islands. I would also like to note that the company is fully Malagassi owned and operated.

Liveaboard on a catamaran
A varied tour with about 2 dives per day, possibility of snorkeling and shore excursions on deserted islands. Especially the maximum occupancy of 8 people and the small crew of 4 people ensures a family atmosphere. It is an advantage to have a good knowledge of French.

Super friendly crew and enjoyable catamaran
We really enjoyed our trip! The crew was awesome! Always with a smile and good mood! :) the catamaran is really comfortable and also the visits of the small villages were very intersting. Also we did see whales ans dolphins on the cruise, which was a highlight!

Good experience on gros plan
We had good time on board. Islands visits were great. Reef has seriously been damaged. Diving should be with nitrox.

Perfect mix between diving and discovering the islands and the culture of Madagascar
We had a wonderful time on the Gros Plan. We were very lucky to have humpback whales and dolphins the first day. The crew was just as excited as we were and very respectful of the animals keeping a distance. The diving was great and we were also lucky with 2 humpback whales passing by during 1 dive. We also had leopard sharks and wonderful corals, gorgonias and a wreck. Unfortunately, Caroline wasn’t able to dive because she was sick but the crew was very lovely to always find a spot where she could snorkel instead of diving. She had a small shark, turtles, a mobula and many colorful fish. The crew was always very helpful and friendly. The food was incredible especially the freshly caught fish. Only the communication was a bit complicated as we only speak English. The dive briefing in English was good but for the rest of the time we often asked the other French speaking guests to translate. So we would recommend the tour for people who speak a fair amount of French. The cabin was good we had everything we needed, the bed is a bit small but still fine for two people. There are a few storage places for clothes and other things. Often in the afternoon we went onto islands or the mainland to explore fishing villages and the culture of the Malagasy people which was absolutely wonderful. They are very welcoming and happy to share the way they live, play soccer, how schools look and much more. We very much loved the visit to Nosy Antsoha island where we saw many makis (monkeys) and got to take lovely pictures. All in all we had a great liveaboard and would choose Gros Plan/ Ocean Dreams again!

Just a paradise
Wonderful experience. The Cruise was Amazing always ready for all our request and the chef was super. Incredibile Mitzio Islands are not already well known 'cause they are a paradise. Thanks to Julie of Oceanes Dreams to get out Dreams come true
