The Ghazala Explorer liveaboard in Egypt is a modern 37mtr/121ft motor yacht offering itineraries throughout the Red Sea area. It can take up to 24 guests in 12 air-conditioned, ensuite cabins, consisting of 9 twin bed and 3 double bed cabins, including suites. Ghazala Explorer has a spacious, bright indoor dining and lounge area for guests to enjoy prepared meals or relax with a drink. There is a sun deck with seating areas, bean bags, and either covered or open areas for those who prefer to be in the sunshine. A large dive deck to the rear allows storage of dive equipment and plenty of space to get ready for dives, and the rear platform makes getting on and off the tenders more accessible.

Great Red Sea adventure
Great Red Sea diving with an awesome liveaboard and its crew! Everything was well organized with nothing to complain about. The crew was very helpful at all times. Food was always delicious with plenty of variety. A special shout-out to the dive guides, very knowledgeable of the sites/currents/conditions and adjusting as needed based on the conditions at the current moment.

I look back on a fantastic week.
My 15th liveaboard and by far the best. The welcome was warm, the crew is extremely helpful and friendly. The dives are well briefed and supervised. Those who wanted to could dive unaccompanied. Always felt safe. Even though I had done this tour 4 times, they still showed other reefs. The boat was quite comfortable and neat. It is also nice that there are plenty of sunbeds in the sun so that you can warm up between dives now that it was a bit colder season. Wide range of decent towels and bathrobe when you get out of the water and stand in the wind. After the dive, the crew was ready to help you take off your wetsuit, they rinsed it for you and hung it up which is nice when you are shivering from the cold. The food was tasty and varied. There was also always a fruit basket that was replenished daily. A big plus was the coffee machine with delicious coffee that is included. That also brings me to the fact that there are no hidden costs.

Superb experience!
After 3 liveaboards in the Red Sea I have a good feeling about what's best in class and what's not. The experience with Ghazala was great in every asepect: infrastructure and service are top. Congratulations to the crew for providing such a great experience.

It was incredibly beautiful, best liveaboard I ever been
The whole trip as a package was incredibly extraordinary, it exceeded all my expectations. The crew was very friendly and helped us every minute during the trip. Dive guides were just amazing by choosing the right sites, and giving us advanced divers the freedom to enjoy the dive sites unguided. Diving was suberb, lots of colorful corals with a beautiful reef life, and nice wrecks, and my personal highlight with multiple dolphin encounters. Have been on many livaboard, this one was the best so far, therefore can only recommend it. Thanks for the whole Ghazala Team

From start to finish - Top
First of all - what can be done better? - To book two weeks on the ship. It was a great experience from start to finish. The pick up from the airport worked perfectly. On the ship I was warmly welcomed. The ship is great. The crew was always helpful and nothing was left to be desired. The food was delicious. The dive guides were all very knowledgeable and you felt very safe, even at unfamiliar dive sites. In summary, it was a very great trip and I am looking forward to the next one with Ghazala Explorer next year. Out of 100 points, I give the team, the ship and the dive guides 150 points. An Unforgettable First Liveaboard Experience
This was my first liveaboard trip, and I originally chose the Ghazalla Explorer because I saw it was the top-rated boat—and those ratings were absolutely right! The fact that most of the divers onboard were returning guests, some for the third time or more, says everything about how good this boat really is. The crew and the dive masters were incredibly friendly, extremely helpful, highly professional, and genuinely kind. The food was excellent. I had brought plenty of snacks with me just in case—I’m a bit of a picky eater, especially with sweets—but I didn’t touch anything I brought until the very end of the trip. That’s how good the meals were! The weather, the dive deck, the dive sites, and even the fellow divers were all fantastic. I’m really happy I booked this trip at the last minute, and I’m definitely coming back again—I honestly cannot wait to book again and try the north itinerary!
