The Ghazala Explorer liveaboard in Egypt is a modern 37mtr/121ft motor yacht offering itineraries throughout the Red Sea area. It can take up to 24 guests in 12 air-conditioned, ensuite cabins, consisting of 9 twin bed and 3 double bed cabins, including suites. Ghazala Explorer has a spacious, bright indoor dining and lounge area for guests to enjoy prepared meals or relax with a drink. There is a sun deck with seating areas, bean bags, and either covered or open areas for those who prefer to be in the sunshine. A large dive deck to the rear allows storage of dive equipment and plenty of space to get ready for dives, and the rear platform makes getting on and off the tenders more accessible.

From start to finish - Top
First of all - what can be done better? - To book two weeks on the ship. It was a great experience from start to finish. The pick up from the airport worked perfectly. On the ship I was warmly welcomed. The ship is great. The crew was always helpful and nothing was left to be desired. The food was delicious. The dive guides were all very knowledgeable and you felt very safe, even at unfamiliar dive sites. In summary, it was a very great trip and I am looking forward to the next one with Ghazala Explorer next year. Out of 100 points, I give the team, the ship and the dive guides 150 points. An Unforgettable First Liveaboard Experience
This was my first liveaboard trip, and I originally chose the Ghazalla Explorer because I saw it was the top-rated boat—and those ratings were absolutely right! The fact that most of the divers onboard were returning guests, some for the third time or more, says everything about how good this boat really is. The crew and the dive masters were incredibly friendly, extremely helpful, highly professional, and genuinely kind. The food was excellent. I had brought plenty of snacks with me just in case—I’m a bit of a picky eater, especially with sweets—but I didn’t touch anything I brought until the very end of the trip. That’s how good the meals were! The weather, the dive deck, the dive sites, and even the fellow divers were all fantastic. I’m really happy I booked this trip at the last minute, and I’m definitely coming back again—I honestly cannot wait to book again and try the north itinerary!

After 3 liveaboards in the Red Sea I have a good feeling about what's best in class and what's not. The experience with Ghazala was great in every asepect: infrastructure and service are top. Congratulations to the crew for providing such a great experience.

Amazing boat
This was our second time with the Ghazala, and this trip was as great as the first. Great food, clean cabins, excellent dive organization. The crew was always fun, friendly and helpful, (fire) safety protocols in place and of course wonderful diving!

Experience at the top! 11/10!
I did the northern route with Ghazala. The boat is new, big and super clean. I had an upstairs cabin that was very spacious and had a fridge. Everything is well organized, the crew is dynamic and very professional. The diving instructors supervise very well whether it is with the detailed brief, or the changes of plans in case of bad weather conditions or in case of guided diving without buddy. I only used one of their regulator and bcd which were fine. There was a fart on the reg one morning, it was fixed in 2min flat. The food is varied and delicious, you are always greeted with a small glass of juice at the end of a dive. The interventions of a wreck specialist were most surprising, very appreciable. The transfers were impecable. The wifi is okay for a shared network of 25! However, I would take a local chip next time for more intenet fluidity. I had a great time without a negative to report.
