Highlights
The Blue Dolphin is a brand-new boat built in 2022 and is 27.5 meters / 90 feet long, providing plenty of space for guests to enjoy their time on board. There are 4 different types of air-conditioned cabins available, including the Upper Deck Master Cabin with an ensuite bathroom, a Kingsize bed (or 2 single beds), and stunning views of the sea. The Main Deck Master Cabin is also ensuite and offers a large double bed (or 2 single beds) and direct access to the main deck. Standard Twin and Quad shared Cabins don't have ensuite facilities, but they share 4 bathrooms between them. There is a spacious dive deck so divers can kit up comfortably. The food is served in buffet style and is a mix of local and western cuisine.
The Similan Islands are home to some of the most beautiful corals and marine life in the world, making them a true haven for scuba divers and nature lovers alike. The Blue Dolphin offers 4-day trips that include stops at Similans, Koh Bon, Tachai, Richelieu, and Seachart. Visited dive sites include West of Eden, Shark Fin Reef, Boulder City, Elephant Head Rock, Turtle Rock, North Point, Three Trees, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai Pinnacle, the famous Richelieu Rock, and Boonsung Wreck.

5-star experience in the boat!
- The boat condition, such as the cabin, toilet, common area, was exactly like what is in the photo - clean, new and comfortable! - The service was impressive! There’s free transfer from/ to hotel. We’re welcomed by Steve with a free beer/ chocolate. The housekeeper would give a clean dry towel, hot face towel and warm drinks/ hydration shot after each dive. She also made our bed and replaced our shower towel every morning. - All dive staff was very friendly and professional. They took good care of every diver’s safety and ensured we still had fun. Dive sites were different from the stated itinerary because of the weather conditions. Some also took amazing underwater photographs of us. - Food was 5-star quality!!!! Probably one of the best kitchen in Thailand! There’s good mix of local Thai and western food in all 4 meals. Everyone was fed very well - Diving itself was incredible!! Beautiful colourful corals with lots of dynamics of marine lives! We saw 5-6 manta rays at Christmas Point (what a Christmas miracle!!), nurse shark, schooling of barracudas, octopuses, giant humphead parrotfish, heaps of trumpet fish, boxfish, etc. The dives and experience on the boat easily make it THE BEST liveaboard trip!!! Would highly recommend to everyone, no matter you’re beginners or experts!

Phantastic 4 days
We booked the 4 nights tours around the Similan islands, and our time on the Blue Dolphin was just perfect! The boat is newly refurbished and spacious, catering to smaller groups and taking only 4 divers per guide. Our en-suite cabin was big enough for our suitcases, with a hot shower and a good AC. The instructors Alex and Brie were wonderful, taking care of everything and making us feel safe and well informed. The crew was amazing, always wearing a big smile and feeling us more than welcome, and the food was plentiful and always just great - and we were fed 5 times a day ;-) the dives were amazing, too, plenty of fish and marine life, different sites for all levels. The equipment was in great shape, too - everything was really phantastic, we enjoyed our 4 days thoroughly and can absolutely recommend the Blue Dolphin.

Dive, eat, sleep, repeat!
This liveaboard exceeded our expectations. The crew went above and beyond to give us the best trip possible, even with some crummy weather. Pit was an awesome dive master and helped us get our advanced cert - and then we added on our nitrox cert too. One big perk of this boat is the small diving groups - my husband and I were just with Pit. The food was sooooo good and I loved the warm towel and drink after every dive. Boots and Sam ran a safe and organized boat, and then were fun to chat with after dinner. We loved our trip and highly recommend the Blue Dolphin!

A brilliant experience I will never forget by an agency I’ll always recommend.
Fantastic liveaboard experience! I was so sad when it was over. The dive guides/instructors were all brilliant, knowledgeable, patient and funny! Steve was my dive guide and really helped me with my equipment and buoyancy, and I felt so confident in the water by the end of the trip. The cooking staff were so accommodating to my vegan food requirements and made delicious alternatives for me. The other boat crew managing our tanks were professional and took our safety seriously. Highly recommend a liveaboard with Big Blue!

Great liveaboard with Blue Dolphin!
Great liveaboard experience. Rooms are comfortable. The service and staff were amazing. You definitely don’t loose weight as the food is superb!! They are detailed oriented - like when you finish a dive they have hot little towels waiting for you. They also have detail items for cameras - like special towels for cameras and air to dry them. Dives were great. Everyone on the boat has a smile and is making sure that everyone is happy. Highly recommend. We are seasoned divers and have done multiple liveaboards- and this one stood out for us.
