Amazing diving, great crew, but a few too many of the small details overlooked
The trip was great, you will enjoy it if you go, and the diving is world class. Everything after that is just the small details that you expect when you pay for a luxury livaboard, but in this case was missing. The boat has a one guide to 8 diver policy, which is fine for the dives at Wolf and Darwin, but created some problems on other dives on the trip. Also, one of my personal annoyances, the guides carry a camera for most of the dives, taking video which they will then try to sell you later on. There are very few instances where I think guide should have a camera and split focus on taking videos and guiding, but this is especially true with such a high guide to diver ratio. The crew was all very helpful, there just always seemed to be one person short to make sure everything was getting done. We also had to choose between diving with the marine iguanas and canceling a dive, or getting all the scheduled dives and potentially not seeing one. This is something that should be factored more in the schedule, so we do not have to make these types of decisions. If you are thinking of going to the Galapagos you need to do a livaboard to see the best sites, but the park mandates schedules, so you get a pretty similar schedule no matter what boat you take. I would do this trip again with the Aggressor, but for the diving, not for the value that I thought I was getting from this boat.

This trip was awesome.
Watching the awesome pelagic schools at Darwin and Wolf Islands; diving with sea lions, marine iguanas, massive schools of fish (many varieties); viewing a great variety of rays, in abundant quantities; seeing a Mola-Mola twice! at its cleaning station; seeing penguins, flightless cormorants, blue-footed boobies, large pelicans, various frigates; seeing THREE Mola-Mola's swimming by our boat; seeing several manta rays jumping completely out of the water!; having sea lions "buzz" us several times playfully and acrobatically swimming around when we least expect it.

The best diving ever!
Diving in Wolf and Darwin, hammerhead sharks, octopus, sea lions, salimas, marine iguanas, countless other fish and the highlight was the mola mola. The boat was really comfortable, crew was very helpful and nice, we had a great group and used the jacuzzi every evening!

My favorite liveboard yet!
There are several liveaboards in the Galapagos but the Agressor III is the best one. The boat had max 16 guest so the experience is very intimate and personal. A few highlights, large organized dive deck, hot tub, cook to order breakfast, comfy beds, knowledgeable guides, and organized diving plan that was not over bearing. The visibility was not great on several dives but I managed to see everything I hoped to including 6 whale sharks!

Fantastic Diving
YOU NEED ADVANCED DIVER, nitrox highly recommended, also 25+ dives recommended. Liveaboard.com says open water and no dives, this is NOT true. Water was warm for the time of year. A TON of wildlife - sharks, rays, the list goes on. Fantastic crew. Mattresses could use rotated. No XXL wetsuits on the ship.

Everything And more!
The trip was amazing. I went at the end of August 2021 and saw EVERYTHING you could: whaleshark, iguanas, dolphins, hammerheads, sea lions and seals, mola mola, sea horses, etc. basically everything that is on the list of things to see in the Galapagos we saw. The guides And boat crew were fantastic. Galapagos liveanoards seem pretty labor intensive and they did an amazing job. You could tel the crew all got along with each other and really had fun with their job. The guides as well. It’s always more enjoyable diving with guides that are noticeably excited to dive even after 15-30 years of diving! All dives were 55 min or longer (except the last dive and that was a group decision due to water temperature). The vegetarian options were also extremely well done. They accommodated both vegans and vegetarians impeccably. There were tons of food options. I will say that this liveaboard is much pricier than others which makes it a bit of a turn off to book again. On the cold dives (last 2 days = between 15-17 degree C) I wore a 5 mm long, 3 mm long, a 3 mm vest w/ hood and 2 mm pants and was STILL COLD. I would recommend wearing a 7 mm and 3 mm for those dives. The rest were About 27 degree C .

Probably the only place in the world where you can see such a variety of sea life in one place.
Dive guides were able to locate and spot the sea life almost before it was visible to divers. No kidding. He would bang is tank and a whale shark would appear into view. He would bang on his tank and a group of devil rays would come into view. Happened multiple times on different dives.

We saw all the typical animals you except to see when diving in the Galapagos - hammerheads, mantas, and marine iguanas. But we were absolutely thrilled to have had the chance to dive with penguins, several whale sharks, and orcas. We went over Christmas and it was the best Christmas ever! Loved the trip. Would definitely recommend it.

Amazing Galapagos Experience
The diving was amazing - so many of my bucket list creatures - whale sharks, hammerheads, silky's, galapagos, marine iguanas, sea lions, too many turtles to mention, and even an orca passing through after a dive. The crew was incredibly knowledgable and caring, and clearly enjoyed working with each other. It was a first class experience!

The Galapagos are a unique experience!
Two points for improvement (why do you only ask for the BEST things and not for improvements?): First At least 1/3 of the divers had very, very limited diving experience. One of the instructors had to dedicate all his time to 5 divers to guarantee at least some safety. At the beginning this lead to a "competition" between the divers to get in the experienced group, which did not help building a good athmosphere. After a while it was decided that the groups could not be equal in number anymore and the experienced divers could go together in one group (which was too many, but better than dive with the beginners). In the application 50 dives was requested as minimum. I strongly recommend to strictly commit to this minimum! Galapagos is not a diving site for beginners! Second: The itinerary I received contains a few mistakes: 30 dives is not correct (it is a little more than half of it), there was only 1 night dive, there was no visit to The Twins nor Scalesia Forest (which I did not go to before the diving, because I thought we would do it anyway),

Unique and wonderful experience
Our family had a great time on this trip. Abundant big sea life and great guiding made for an unforgettable experience. Walter and Reuben kept the divers safe. Food was great. The A/C in out room cut out half way through the week so a back up fan would have been nice. Minor issue. So much fun.

Amazing liveaboard experience
The highlight of the trip was able to see multiple whale sharks during our dives at Darwin and Wolf Island, and that is all due to the experience of our dive master - Water, who spot the whale sharks miles away. We were also able to see other marine life that are unique in Galapagos during that trip. The dive boat is also excellent, clean and maintained well by the friendly crew onboard. I would highly recommend Galapagos Aggressor 3 to anyone who want to have a dive vacation at Galapagos.

Amazing trip!
First of all, I have never seen so much safety on a boat. We did an evacuation drill, and every diver was equipped with a surface marker flag/SMB, an air-driven horn and a rescue GPS. The watertemperature is different between divespots. In one week (end oktober) we had a range from 15 til 24 degrees Celcius. I went on the trip with high expectations, but the diving topped all the expectations! Very big whalesharks (on 5 dives!), playing sealions, seahorses, lots of sharks, big schools of hammerheadsharks, feeding marine iguana's, mola mola, dolphins, different sorts of rays.
