One of the best liveaboards out there
The best liveaboard I’ve been on. The cabin was really spacious with a comfortable bed. The crew did everything possible to make our trip enjoyable. Some epic dives with great food!
This is a big, modern boat with large rooms and good sized en suites. As you’d expect the diving is well organised with kit loaded onto tenders - so super easy. The food is good and there was plenty of it - I gained 2kg! All the staff were helpful and super friendly. Given the cost you might expect free wifi, 15l tanks, nitrox etc but you’re charged for everything. As a solo traveller I was surprised I wasn’t allowed to use one of the free rooms. I was told I’d have to pay a single person supplement if I wanted my own room.

Fantastic 10-day diving trip aboard White Manta in Raja Ampat. The boat is spacious and comfortable, cabins were clean, and everything was well organized. Misool to Trition Bay Trip- Just say yes!!
Loved this trip from Misoolto Trition Bay! Oceanic Mantas, Whale Sharks, Bumphead Parrotfish, Huge schools of surgeon fish, fusseiliers and anthias. Mind blowing healthy diversity of coral. Highly recommend this itinerary. Downside was the Russian couple on the trip that was trashing the coral and trying to touch everything including the manta and whale sharks.

Exception service with a very dedicated team.
If you are a diver looking for an operator with a high repeat customer following, then you seriously need to experience diving with White Manta liveaboard. On our trip to Triton Bay, at least 7 of our fellow divers were repeaters. We will also join the repeater club and are already planning our next trip on the Blue Manta later this year. The level of dive service, safety and organization compared to other operators we have experienced makes the White Manta really stand out above the rest.

Great trip on the White Manta.
This was a great trip. Nacho manages the boat in a friendly and professional manner, he and his team worked extra hard to make everyone comfortable while experiencing the best diving at Raja Ampat. The room for photography was terrific, we could live our equipment there, in our dedicated desks, ready for the next dive. I had a top floor cabin and it was super comfortable, roomy and with internal and external access. The food was fine, varied and plenty, as one would expect of good liveaboards. The White Manta is a good vessel, we had a rough overnight crossing and it coped with it very well. While it is not a new boat and certain areas may do with a refresh, everything worked well and we were very comfortable. Indeed, I preferred it to the much newer one I used in Philipines, it was more relaxed and enjoyable. We were also lucky to have a nice bunch of people on board, while this is a matter of luck, perhaps it attracts the right (to me) kind of customers. The crew was terrific, I am especially gratefull to Nacho, Ricky Our DM, and the cheerful guy who serviced our room, they offered an excellent service. Last and important point, each DM was in charge of four divers, wich compares well against other liveaboards where you could have six divers per DM. No fuss or BS, just good quality service and diving. I will be happy to return.

Trip of a Lifetime! (So far...)
First livaboard, first visit to the East. Needless to say, I reset my algorithm and I have no one but myself and this wonderful crew and boat to blame for it. I live in what is usually referred to as a great diving destination (Belize CA). I saw two solitary barracuda onfirst dive back. After being reef hooked onto the earth, floating like a balloon, and watching perhaps 100;s of thousands of barracudas floating in the current from about 3 meters over my head down into the abyss as far as I could see? Needless to say, my excitement was much lessened.

Incredible Banda Sea Crossing & Raja Ampat Liveaboard Experience
Just finished an amazing liveaboard trip across the Banda Sea and Raja Ampat—easily one of the best dive trips I’ve ever had! The dive sites were spectacular, offering everything from stunning pelagics like hammerheads or tuna to fascinating macro life. Our dive master Komang, was fantastic, guiding us to the best spots and pointing out hidden gems that truly made each dive unforgettable. The crew was outstanding—always friendly, attentive, and ready to help, which made the whole experience seamless and enjoyable. We had a spacious cabin on the main deck that was as clean and well-kept as a 4-star hotel, with plenty of room to relax after each day’s dives. Between dives, we enjoyed fresh, delicious food and a few unexpected surprises, including a surprise birthday celebration and a special gathering to celebrate one diver’s 1000th dive—moments that brought the entire group together. If you’re considering a liveaboard in this region, I can’t recommend this experience enough! Top-notch service, amazing dive spots, and a comfortable, spacious and clean boat—this trip had it all.

I can't say enough good things about this liveaboard! I had the absolute best experience from beginning to end. The boat is beautiful, comfortable, and well taken care of. The crew was so lovely, they always had a genuine smile on their faces and were always happy to help with anything. The food was seriously amazing, and the dive sites were so beautiful and allowed us to have the most amazing wildlife encounters and enjoy breathtaking views!! The whole thing worked like a very well oiled machine, and I really enjoyed every minute of it!!

Yes, the diving is great but this boat really sets itself apart with its excellent service, delicious and plentiful food, and clean and comfy accommodations. The rooms are big, including the shower and bathroom. The beds are comfy. There’s plenty of space to lounge and socialize or just be solo. The crew is just impeccable. They help you with everything!!! All you have to do is jump in the water. We will surely miss them all. I recommend this boat 110%, without hesitation! You will love it!

Wonderful Experience on White Manta
I had a great experience on the White Manta liveaboard. Everything was very well organized from start to finish, and the whole trip ran smoothly. The crew was friendly, professional, and always helpful, making everyone feel welcome throughout the trip. The dive guides were knowledgeable and did a great job finding amazing marine life. The boat was clean and comfortable, the cabins were well maintained, and there was plenty of space to relax between dives. We experienced 2 storms. This itinerary may be better during a different time of the year. However, the pristine diving in Una Una and Batu Gong were exceptional. The dive site "fish-o-mania" had over an estimated 1 million fish--remarkable! The dive masters assisted with those that needed help with current diving--which was appreciated! Staff was friendly and very helpful with anything we needed.

Decent and relaxing boat with a very professional and efficient crew.
Having been on over 2 dozen liveaboards over the years I really feel that the WM was good value for your money. Very stable boat, nice and wide beam at close to 10 meters, lots of room for comfort. As wide as most catamarans she is most definately comfortable. However for a six year old boat she is a bit worn and shows the wrinkle of a hard working boat. The route was kind of lackluster and was mostly muck diving. Turtles and balls of jacks here and there, and of all dives (29 in total) only one manta was spotted. Highlight for pelagics was the largest school of decent sized Baracudas that I have ever seen in 35 + years of diving. There was a school of approximately 5000 + Baracuda moving together as a school. Diving was well planned and orchestrated with a very professional crew. Dive guides were good and knowledgeable and most dives were a little over an hour. This sailing was not a popular route as it was sort of a transit route to get ready for Raja Ampat season and was sailing with less than half it max for guest with just a dozen guest on board. However, happily most were hardy divers and at least 8 to 10 divers for every dive including night dives. Muck diving was also rewarding with many Nudis spotted and my very first Blue Ringed Octopus!! All in all trip was nice casual trip with a decent operator. The WM had a very decent chef who planned very nice dinners for all, and would accommodate for picky eaters such as myself. The only setback was that only one of the two engines on the WM was running (starboard engine had software issues and was not operating) which caused a truly slow and arduous journey that did influence our diving route and ability to get there. Otherwise like I said it was a well run boat that was well run by a professional crew that made all diving operations run smoothly and seamlessly. I would recommend this boat and operator not for flash, but more for value and comfort.

Totally enjoyed diving with the White Manta crew. Dive masters very good and we were a small group of 3 with our own dive master. They timed the dives well so it did t feel crowded underwater. Managed to visit the best sites at raja ampat . I was so impressed I booked another trip with them fir next year !

White Manta Ambon trip - no hammerheads sadly, but amazing service from cruise director Lea, crew and dive guides.
I enjoyed my time on White Manta! Sadly we did not see the schooling hammerheads which was quite disappointing. but the rest of the diving was nice. There was impeccable service from the crew. We also had a great group on our boat altogether and all of us became friends which made the experience very rich. I would like to come back to dive with white manta!

Great experience, despite only so so weather. Nice tour around Similans and Richelieu, and especially given reasonable price a good option. Cabin and sanitary comfort is not mega high, but totally sufficient for a dive trip. Ship was very clean and comfortable at all times thanks to energetic crew.
