The Bugis has spacious social areas featuring panoramic views. The main deck provides a 30m2 shaded dining area where guests can relax and enjoy meals. On the upper deck, a semi-covered 45m2 space with a bar and open area invites you to practice yoga, sunbathe, unwind, or even party at night. The Bugis serves fresh and locally sourced food. A wonderful experience. A unique boat. Loving and attentive crew. Snorkeling, as many fish as seen in an aquarium, plus turtles and manta rays.

- Tommy the cruise director. Fun drinks and snacks every time we came back to the boat. Seeing so few other boats, usually we had the whole place to ourselves.

Totally enjoyable, lovely Boat, Nice small group of lovely people.
Lots of wonderful snorkeling and we got to walk with the Komodo Dragons. How cool is that. Only possible improvement would be hotter water for the showers and better water pressure.

If you want to snorkel Raja Ampat you have to book the Bugis. A truly memorable trip.
From the moment we were greeted on board the boat by the staff singing to us we felt right at home. The staff could not do enough for us. Our cruise director, Tommy was amazing. Our snorkelling trips were next level and his knowledge of his home environment was great. Our chef and executive chef cooked up a storm with so much yummy food and lots of smiles. The captain always made us feel at home and happy for you to pop into the wheel house to have a chat and provide information. Raja Ampat is a once in a life must do destination and it was incredible. In our older age we no longer do much diving and it was a true pleasure to find a liveaboard that catered for people who just wanted to snorkel. Our visits to villages and opportunity to take the kayaks out for a paddle was a huge bonus. I cannot recommend the Bugis enough. It was such good value for money. Thanks to the staff on board, this trip will go down as one of the best holidays I have ever done (and I’ve travelled a lot). Thanks

Bugis delivered a wonderful adventure.
Bugis is a lovely wooden boat with personality plus. No aircon was fine for us, but some could struggle. Ace staff led by Tommy meant all our needs were met straightforwardly . Joko from Java was a food magician! Risky is a true Indonesian gentleman, always at hand to assist and serve. Snorkeling excellent overall and red bird of paradise trip very demanding but satisfying. (we are almost 70). My wife, who I persuaded to come on something that is not really her ideal holiday, had a super time and loved it. We were fortunate that the mixed nationality group used largely english to communicate and melded well together and everybody made an effort to get along. I am already looking at booking a second trip with this company who offer some interesting and different itineraries in Indonesia.

Trip of a Lifetime, don't miss it!
I loved/loved/loved this trip! I loved being on the Bugis -- a new and comfy boat, i liked that it's small, so only 7 of us and 7 crew. The schedule was terrific, 3-4 snorkels per day, plus other excursions. Its soooo beautiful - i loved living on the boat, traveling from island to island. Plus Tommy is a terrific cruise director! We were fed well and often, including yummy afternoon treats and fabulous desserts! And i loved how the crew sang to us on arriving and for International Women's Day, and our final night -- and how they together cheered us on everytime we left for snorkeling and arrived again back to the boat -- anything we needed, they were glad to help us. Plus loved the kayaking. So much to love about this trip!
