Highlights
The Ariyal is a 45-meter/148-foot-long liveaboard taking 26 passengers in 13 cabins on diving adventures in the Maldives. There are three types of rooms: 7 State Cabins on the lower deck, 2 Sea View Suites on the main deck, and 4 Sea View Suites on the upper deck. All cabins feature ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning, and modern amenities. The lower deck cabins provide twin beds, and the sea view suites offer king-size beds and sofa beds. Guests can enjoy a spacious second deck equipped with a freshwater jacuzzi.
Ariyal also boasts a range of onboard facilities and activities. It includes 2 Yamaha Jetskis, paddleboards, wakeboards, water skis, and various inflatables for water sports enthusiasts. Beach BBQ setups with portable grills, speakers, and dining furniture are available for shore excursions. The boat is equipped for fishing with 24 line fishing sets. Onboard entertainment includes a 75” smart TV in the lounge, WiFi, a PlayStation 5, portable Bose speakers, and board games. Must do if you’re a passionate diver and highly recommend Ariyal boat with its crew
I joined Ariyal 3rd August 2025 - I booked the trip in 2024 and what attracted me to this offer was the price and the fact that the boat was new. Everything, from the comfort of the cabin, to all 16 dives we did, the crew and the team of divers, was incredible and I couldn’t expect anything more. Tip if you will join: bring pegs for drying your gear/clothes, start interacting with people from the first moment on the boat, mark your gear/clothes with your initials, bring your water bottle. Tip for the boat: create a board with the crew’s photos and names, use the top deck more often. Thank you to the crew and our amazing team of divers for making this an unforgettable adventure!

Definitely recommend, but check the current-saisons if you want to see more actions in the water
It was a great liveaboard with some average dives (due to hardly any current and the corresponding lack of marine life) and some excellent dives. The crew is extremely friendly and helpful. I wish I had been assigned to another group that would have suited my level better, but I'll dig deeper next time.

Great diving trip - would definitely book again
Great one week with a nice group of divers, competent and funny guides, mostly good to very good dives / reefs, good food and Accomodation. Saw all I wanted (whale shark, mantas, hammerhead, eagle rays, nurse sharks, and lots of turtles, nudis etc.).

Great trip
Overall experience was great. I enjoyed my trip. Dive guides and crew members were very friendly and helpful. The boat was quite new and mostly clean. Food was fine. We were so tired from the dives anyways we just inhaled everything. The only thing was that I was under the impression that the ocean view room would have sofa bed and bathtub but that was not the case. I also wasn’t very clear on how frequently the towels got changed. I believe I only got new towels once on day 2.

First time , but will definitely go again
I had an excellent time on this liveaboard. The boat was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, making the stay relaxing and enjoyable. The dive guides were outstanding – highly professional, with clear and detailed briefings that gave confidence before every dive. Even though it was the low season, the dive sites were incredible. We were lucky to enjoy amazing sightings of sharks and manta rays, which made the experience truly unforgettable. Overall, a fantastic trip that exceeded expectations

Relaxing, Feel like Home, great people and Amazing Wildlife
Highly recommended Liveaboard Ariyal! This is my 2nd time with this Luxury and Comfy boat with friendly crew, feel more like home instead of commercial boat and soooo relaxing after diving. Diving arrangement, briefing and sites are wonderful this time, number of sharks and rays and abundant wildlife was definitely amazing even during the low season with not so wonderful visibility due to nutrition for new born wildlife, but the rich wildlife is definitely world class, so happy to see many many fish species! Dhoni boat staff are very helpful to help everyone ready get in and out of water, and always with their smiles! All Crews are friendly and room was cleaned up during first dive, mixed western and eastern food with fresh vegetables and fruits which I love, are well prepared after diving too. And so lucky to meet many friendly and experienced divers during past 2 Liveaboard at Ariyal, they sharing not only their experiences, support each other (junior diver) but also culture exchange and some even with great stories of their life!

Incredible trip on amazing new boat!
First time doing a liveaboard and the trip was just incredible. The ship is super new and just built this year, everything is fresh and clean. The food was very delicious and fresh. The dive guides we got - Teygo and Sadu were awesome. Everything felt very safe, clear and had no issues during the trip, dive guides were caring and attentive. Overall, awesome value for money, and highly recommended.

Recommend to all diver!
I had only about 10 dive logs before this liveaboard including ow and aow classes, and the trip was not considered challenging to me. Started the trip with a glass of orange juice and stepping in a spaceful main board and then a briefing for itinerary and rules and check dive. Do recommend main deck cabins which are the largest rooms and have the largest windows. Every briefing was clear with hand drawn diagrams and every dive guide took 6 divers per group and took care of everyone. Food is nice with different kinds and plenty of fresh fruits. Captain do fishing everyday clean the fishes on the board and we eat fresh fishes almost everyday. The only drawback was water comes too slow in the bathtub so we barely use it. The weather of the week was cloudy and windy but the underwater visibility was still good.
