Highlights
The Ariyal is a 45-meter/148-foot-long liveaboard taking 26 passengers in 13 cabins on diving adventures in the Maldives. There are three types of rooms: 7 State Cabins on the lower deck, 2 Sea View Suites on the main deck, and 4 Sea View Suites on the upper deck. All cabins feature ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning, and modern amenities. The lower deck cabins provide twin beds, and the sea view suites offer king-size beds and sofa beds. Guests can enjoy a spacious second deck equipped with a freshwater jacuzzi.
Ariyal also boasts a range of onboard facilities and activities. It includes 2 Yamaha Jetskis, paddleboards, wakeboards, water skis, and various inflatables for water sports enthusiasts. Beach BBQ setups with portable grills, speakers, and dining furniture are available for shore excursions. The boat is equipped for fishing with 24 line fishing sets. Onboard entertainment includes a 75” smart TV in the lounge, WiFi, a PlayStation 5, portable Bose speakers, and board games. A completely no hassles experience.
Being able to dive without a wetsuit in clean, clear water was magical. The cabins were comfortable and housekeeping fantastic. I would love to see some more towel racks in the bathroom and a fish identification guide in the saloon. The food was beautiful and fresh and SO MUCH of it. Thank you for everything.

Grateful for an unforgettable diving week on the Ariyal
The week on the Ariyal was wonderful. Nishan (captain) and his crew on board are super friendly and eager to help. After a day, they knew the guests and their preferences. The boat is modern and clean. The food is fantastic and varied. The beach BBQ gigantic and beautiful! We were well catered for and in case of problems the crew was always approachable and helped.The dive sites were just unique! The communication and organization around it is great. We knew at all times how the day would turn out. I didn't want to stop diving. There are many retreats on board, so that you could enjoy your coffee in peace and quiet in the morning without the hustle and bustle.What the Ariyal lacks is a permanent European instructor who organizes the freelancer guides and ensures quality. The team changes more or less every week, so it's a bit of a lottery as to how good the guides are. In my opinion, such a submersible cannot afford that. That's why I'm subtracting a star. The dives were sometimes a bit wild, because under water it was not clearly communicated what we would do, in case the current was different than expected or something came up. Personally, I find clear communication important in order not to deal with organizational things but to enjoy the indescribable beauty and abundance of the dive sites.

It was our first liveaboard and it was a spectacular experience. Both the boat and the people have been amazing. The dive boat is spacious and very comfortable. The food was very tasty and varied. If you come in the rainy season the visibility will not be very good, but the marine life is still amazing. A highly recommended experience!

- Captain and crew made extra effort to make the trip amazing. Any Dolphins, Animals or Baitballs the boat would stop and get close.. Chefs made food on request. Fresh caught Tuna sashimi was unbelievable and local Mashuni, chilli and fresh lime was a close second. The wine was all lovely too!. Diving and guide was excellent. Guides made a great a effort and the equipment on board was brilliant. Free 13.5L ally tanks and strong nitrox made a huge difference to the week..

Fantastic trip on Ariyal. Sharmil gave the most in-depth, practical briefings I’ve had; Naphsu elevated every dive with smart routes and great spotting. Hana made ladder assists and tank handling effortless, Samuel handled luggage seamlessly. Allatay and Wishoo guided other groups—super friendly and clearly expert. Captain Nishant’s 20+ years showed in safe, precise navigation. Highly recommend.

An unforgettable liveaboard experience with great dives, a friendly crew, and a relaxed atmosphere throughout the trip.
The atmosphere on board was relaxed and friendly, the crew made everyone feel welcome. The boat was comfortable with plenty of space to unwind between dives, and everything ran smoothly throughout the trip. It was the perfect mix of great diving, good company, and excellent service.

Great diving trip - would definitely book again
Great one week with a nice group of divers, competent and funny guides, mostly good to very good dives / reefs, good food and Accomodation. Saw all I wanted (whale shark, mantas, hammerhead, eagle rays, nurse sharks, and lots of turtles, nudis etc.).

The liveaboard on the Ariyal was just great from start to finish.The topic of security is taken extremely seriously here, you always feel in good hands and professionally looked after.The dive guides are absolutely top-notch: extremely experienced, attentive and with an excellent eye for details underwater. In addition, there is a very well coordinated diving group, which makes the dives relaxed, safe and simply brilliant.The crew is incredibly warm, helpful and perfectly organized. You immediately notice that a well-rehearsed team is at work here.The food deserves its own praise varied, fresh and simply excellent. Culinarily definitely above the average of a liveaboard.In short:Top boat, top crew, top guides, top food a safari that leaves nothing to be desired.I would book again anytime! 🐠🤿✨
