Highlights
The Ariyal is a 45-meter/148-foot-long liveaboard taking 26 passengers in 13 cabins on diving adventures in the Maldives. There are three types of rooms: 7 State Cabins on the lower deck, 2 Sea View Suites on the main deck, and 4 Sea View Suites on the upper deck. All cabins feature ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning, and modern amenities. The lower deck cabins provide twin beds, and the sea view suites offer king-size beds and sofa beds. Guests can enjoy a spacious second deck equipped with a freshwater jacuzzi.
Ariyal also boasts a range of onboard facilities and activities. It includes 2 Yamaha Jetskis, paddleboards, wakeboards, water skis, and various inflatables for water sports enthusiasts. Beach BBQ setups with portable grills, speakers, and dining furniture are available for shore excursions. The boat is equipped for fishing with 24 line fishing sets. Onboard entertainment includes a 75” smart TV in the lounge, WiFi, a PlayStation 5, portable Bose speakers, and board games. The diving safari on the Ariyal was an absolute dream! From the very first moment, I felt completely welcome – the crew is warm, attentive, and truly passionate about what they do. The captain guides the ship with calm confidence and the guides are amazing – professional, caring, and full of enthusiasm for the underwater world. Every dive was a magical experience – encounters with manta rays, sharks, and vibrant coral reefs that I’ll never forget. The encounter with a whale shark will also remain unforgettable. Life on board was just as wonderful: delicious food, cozy cabins, and a warm, family-like atmosphere. It was our first liveaboard and it was a spectacular experience. Both the boat and the people have been amazing. The dive boat is spacious and very comfortable. The food was very tasty and varied. If you come in the rainy season the visibility will not be very good, but the marine life is still amazing. A highly recommended experience!

Great diving trip - would definitely book again
Great one week with a nice group of divers, competent and funny guides, mostly good to very good dives / reefs, good food and Accomodation. Saw all I wanted (whale shark, mantas, hammerhead, eagle rays, nurse sharks, and lots of turtles, nudis etc.).

The boat is great. The team was great. Dives sites were nice (we had bad weather so the visibility was not always great - but this could be due to the weather). The food was exceptional. There was always a very good salad, vegetables and fruit (next to other things like very good fish, shrimps, curries etc). We will come back for sure. There are two rooms on the main deck which are huge! We had one of them and would always book main cabin again (also huge bathrooms). The upper deck rooms are also in a reasonable size but smaller.

Fantastic trip on Ariyal. Sharmil gave the most in-depth, practical briefings I’ve had; Naphsu elevated every dive with smart routes and great spotting. Hana made ladder assists and tank handling effortless, Samuel handled luggage seamlessly. Allatay and Wishoo guided other groups—super friendly and clearly expert. Captain Nishant’s 20+ years showed in safe, precise navigation. Highly recommend.

We had an unforgettable experience at the Liveaboard Ariyal, where we celebrated the second week of our honeymoon. From the first moment, the treatment was exceptional: knowing that we were on our honeymoon, they surprised us with a cake and a bottle of prosecco. A beautiful detail!All the staff of the boat were always super attentive 24 hours a day, taking care of every detail so that we did not miss anything. The four dive guides are a real blast: Ali, Alex, Shamil and Wish, cracks! We hired a private guide, which was a great choice, but we also found that groups of five per divemaster work great; All the divers seemed very happy.The food was delicious, with snacks between meals that always came in handy. Dinner on the deserted island was simply magical.Without a doubt, we would repeat without thinking about it! A diving experience and care that exceeds expectations.
