Highlights
Raja-Ampat Aggressor is a high-quality vessel with amazing sailing capabilities and comfort features. She is a modern, 30m vessel purposely built for diving. She was expressly designed to sail safely, comfortably, and efficiently.
Raja-Ampat Aggressor features a revolutionary whale deck, the lower section of the dive deck, where the dinghies are stored when the vessel is sailing and allows very easy access to the water for the divers. Raja-Ampat Aggressor accommodates 16 passengers in 8 ensuite cabins, with individually controlled air-conditioning and plenty of storage space.
You can relax in the spacious salon or on the sun deck and enjoy comfortable dining and seating arrangements. Raja-Ampat Aggressor also has a fully equipped entertainment center. The vessel is powered by three 420Hp diesel engines, driving three propellers for extra safety. Eat. Sleep. Dive. Repeat.
Eat. Sleep. Dive. Repeat. 🤿 I had the most wonderful time on the Raja Ampat Aggressor. The crew made it clear from day one that our comfort and enjoyment were their top priority. Every single person on this boat showed up with warmth, skill, and genuine care. The Boat and Cabins 🛏️ Cabins were clean, comfortable, and well air conditioned with no temperature cap. The showers were functional, though a small shelf for extra toiletries would be a nice addition. Overall it felt like a cozy home base between dives. The Food 🍽️ Chef Milke and Sous Chef Darwis knocked it out of the park. Vegan options were available and genuinely delicious, which as someone with dietary restrictions is never a given. The fruit cake was iconic. And the sauce bin deserves its own fan club. A pre-selection dinner menu, even a simple airplane-style option, would be a great future addition for guests with dietary needs. The Diving 🤿 Dive instructors Marfel, Jan, and James were phenomenal. Eagle-eyed does not begin to cover it. They spotted critters I would have completely swum past. Jan went above and beyond helping me troubleshoot persistent mask fogging issues, which made a huge difference underwater. Rental gear was in great shape with no issues. Cruise Director Pep kept things fun throughout with jokes and card tricks that made surface intervals just as enjoyable as the dives. Pep was great at describing what species we might encounter and where to look, though visual aids with fish pictures and typical habitats would be a great briefing addition. Pictures of hazardous species would also be handy for newer divers. The Crew 💛 After every dive, crew members including Agil, Charles, and Rudy were right there with warm towels and a little shoulder rub. That small ritual became something I genuinely looked forward to. Tree and Ing offered full massages up on the sun deck, and the guests who booked one absolutely loved it. When I was feeling seasick the crew noticed and took care of me without me having to ask. On my birthday they surprised me with a song and I genuinely cried. This crew is just so sweet. One of my favorite moments was learning the traditional way to call Manta Rays. That kind of cultural sharing makes a trip like this so much more than just a dive vacation.

Great Trip and Highly recommended.
The staff were very accommodating regarding food requests and always helpful. The cabin was spacious. Food was excellent especially the snacks after diving. Some of the dive guides were great, others were specific to macro photography even though you may not be interested in it. They were accommodating with the dive groups when asked if we can dive with non photographers. Dive sites were great especially the night dives which you don't want to miss. Lots of area where you can hang your gear in the sun before the next dives. The energy drinks were great which kept us hydrated.

Another great trip on Aggressor!
This was one of my all-time favorite live-aboards. I cannot say enough about how great the crew was. The cruise director, Pep, was outstanding. Such a fun person, yet we really learned a lot as well from his experience and tips. Seeing animals like walking sharks and woobegong sharks, only in Raja. Was just wonderful.
