A great liveaboard with a great crew!
My trip on Ocean Hunter III was my second liveaboard and I couldn’t be happier with the crew and the guides. The food was excellent and they tried to meet every dietary restriction by making a special food for every need. The diving was also excellent and the guides and the captain were great and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend it for someone who wants to dive in Palau on a liveaboard.

Great trip. I would highly recommended.
Excellent trip. The dive sites were varied (variety of ocean life, reck, blue holes, caverns, hanging on reef hooks, lots of turtles, etc.) The staff at the Ocean Hunter 3 were very nice and helpful.

Nice diving holidays despite unfavorable weather
Compared to the Maldives, the corals here are much better preserved. Ulong Wall was like a cinema, hook up the current hook and just look: especially many reef sharks.The food on the Ocean Hunter was excellent too!

Amazing vacation!
Unbelievable diving in beautiful, clear water. The scenery was astounding every single moment I was above water. The crew was so friendly and attentive. The food - WOW!!!!! The only negative thing I could say about the trip is that I dove with heartburn every day from eating too much of the delicious food.

The best trip I've ever had
Easily the best liveaboard I’ve ever done. The crew were phenomenal, I can’t recall a single error or issue, they are either perfect or so adaptable they can fix things on the fly without anyone noticing. The diving was surreal, not a single bad or even average dive. Truly will be dreaming of these dives for the rest of my life. My room was comfortable and had everything you could need. Also was not booked to capacity so had a room to myself despite paying to share, was super happy with this bonus! The chef + chef's assistant on board, Arlee and Gerald, are magic. I have coeliac disease and 4 times a day I was made the most incredible gluten free food, a god sent for a GF diver! I have already raved to multiple people about how great it was and recommended they book themselves a spot. I have started planning my next trip to Palau with friends, the Ocean Hunter 3 will be a non-negotiable! Also the booking process was seamless, timely and informative replies with enough info but not bombarded with emails. Lastly the owner greeted us prior to boarding, she was so friendly and welcoming and talked so highly of the crew, her pride is well placed! Can’t wait to be back in a few years to do it all again.

Just perfect
First, note that diving was quite intense (5 dives per day). Although some would prefer a bit less diving and more land tours, some might love it. :) The dives were quite diverse (wrecks, open ocean, walls, reefs, drift, night, lagoons, blue holes, and even an easy cavern). It was also a really good boat for underwater photographers and the right place for learning wide-angle. The crew was also really nice and skilled. To be noted, the food was also really diverse and good. I highly recommend

Palau didn’t disappoint
This is the ultimate dive, eat, sleep, repeat experience. Lots of beautiful and varied corals. Sharks, turtles and many different fish. Reef is vibrant. Holes, tunnels and caves for variety.

Best Liveaboard ever!
Manta Rays on several dives, loads of different sharks, wreck dives, cave dive, friendly Napoleon wrasse who knew Ken the captain, great night dives with cuttlefish, grey reef sharks. Saw so many new fish species I’d never seen before like the Crocodile fish, Mandarin Fish, giant sea slug, lemon shark, bull shark, and so much more. This was my 5th liveaboard and definitely the best one yet.

Palau is amazing and Ocean Hunter 3 does a great job of maximizing your dives.
Lots of diving (up to 5 per day), including several night dives and cavern dives. Palau is amazing! Fabulous coral, manta rays, turtles, octopus, sharks, etc., better than Maldives and Red Sea IMO. Interesting WW2 wrecks. I am so glad we chose this trip and I definitely recommend it to intermediate or advanced divers as the current is strong in places.

It was a really nice trip. The food is great and the crew in general too. We had some great diving on top dive sites. It’s a bit sad, that the boat doesn’t travel around a lot and we stayed most of the time at german channel. That makes the trips with the speed boat longer and the breaks shorter. There could have been a dive guide more and sometimes more groups would be nice. But overall Palau delivered what I expected.

If you love diving you'll love this boat!
If you LOVE diving this boat is for you! I still cannot believe how many dives we got in, and they were so diverse! We got to the "good places" before (and after) day trippers, always felt we had the ocean to ourselves, even when other boats might have been at some of the dive sites. Guides were excellent, knowledgeable (Ace and Epi), and super helpful. Entire crew was awesome, knew us all by our names, treated us very well. We were not a full boat so as a solo female traveler was thrilled to get a cabin to myself. Loved it so much I will be coming back next year with my husband. Cannot wait!

So many dives - 31 dives in 7 days!. Diversity of dives - walls, wrecks, reefs, channels (hook in and watch the sharks go by), cleaning stations, etc.. The other guests - we bonded, they were the best!.

totally wonderfull!
45 dives in 10 days - was very happy at end of each dive. Mind blowing all the creatures/ reef to view. not having to carry my gear up the ladder after each dive. staff was so welcoming and friendly.

Immaculate trip to Palau
We were fortunate to have a week’s worth of perfect weather and diving conditions. The boat is well maintained and you can tell the owners at fish n fins and the staff take great care in showing guests all of Palau.

A pleasant dive experience onboard
Overall, my experience was good. I noticed that abot 40% of dives In the advance program sent to us were not done and some dives were repeated at our will. As an example, we bought peleli dive permit to dive there 3 or 4 times. But had only one dive. Also. Jelly Fish Lake and Mandarin Lake dives were discarded automatically. I can understand such changes are at the discreteion of boat captain abd dive guide team, changes at this magnitude sound bizarre to me. They should modify their program accordingly, I admit 25 dives are more than enough for 7 days. Overall, I am a satisfied customer. Though I had more luxioruos food options in different liveaboard trips, this one was for the taste, preparation, and presentation of food. Thank you guys for the excellent job.

Good food,great group of diving guests which made the trip
Overall was a little disappointed as the weather was not great and we were mainly around one spot in German channel so diving was repetitive ,that’s Mother Nature though .Chef and assistant chef were fantastic and most of the crew were great .Management and captain are a little more blunt around guests and staff so a little more work needed in customer relations would benefit the company. Office management could be better organized,ie,refunds on park fees ,not visited due to bad weather ,should be refunded on day when settling accounts and not emailing guest days later after they have left the country only to get told their refund will be $70 US dollars less to cover the bank transaction fee .

A great gourmet experience, but the dives could and should be better.
Sadly I have not been fully satisfied by this trip. The food has been by far the best ever tried on a diving boat , but the diving management has been poor. The main boat has been moved only one time and for all the week we have been always around the German Channel : were the weather conditions too bad ? It has been not explained. It has been evident from the very first dive that we should - and we could :9 guests 2 diving guides - be divided in 2 groups ：the photographers and the divers. Indeed the 2 guides has constantly tried to force everybody together, even when the pace was extra slow. And just to make everything worse in one day all the dives not only almost in the same area , but with the same profile " Maximum depth 21 meters" , why? We all know the max depth for AOW recreational is 30 mt and with the deep specialty 40 , so from what/where the constant 21 mtrs? I was so bored that I skipped some afternoon dives. At the middle of the week regarding this issues, I had a conversation with the Captain - Mr. Ken - after which he also step in the water and I admit the dives got better. DM313144
