Highlights
The Caribbean Explorer II liveaboard offers year-round diving at Saba and St. Kitts in the Northern Caribbean. With a blend of comfort and quality, she caters to 18 guests in 9 staterooms, each with either twin or double beds, private en-suite bathrooms, individually controlled AC, and storage space. Five cabins are located on the lower deck, and 4 cabins are on the main deck. On the upper deck is a partially enclosed dining room where guests enjoy gourmet cuisine and amazing views. There is also an air-conditioned salon with an entertainment system. The sun deck has loungers for relaxing between dives. The large dive platform at the back of the main deck is equipped with individual gear lockers, a large camera table with low-pressure air hoses, recharging stations, tank racks, a bathroom, and separate freshwater rinse baths for dive equipment and cameras.
Dive itineraries aboard the Caribbean Explorer II explore some of the best dive sites in the northern Caribbean. Known for its offshore pinnacles, deep underwater seamounts, finger reefs, recent wrecks, and various coral labyrinths, Saba and St. Kitts have a lot to offer divers underwater. Diving in Saba Marine Park mixes steep vertical walls and coral labyrinths. Expect to see reef sharks, turtles, rays, and more. Protected in 1987, Saba Marine Park encompasses the waters and seabed encircling the entire Caribbean island of Saba, ensuring the park's thriving aquatic life remains healthy. Diving in St Kitts is a diversity of wrecks, ancient relics, and bustling coral reefs. Some top dive sites here include the Wreck of the River Taw, Anchors Aweigh, and Paradise Reef. Divers can see various macro life, including frogfish and sea horses, as well as sharks, turtles, and octopuses. Night dives on the reefs are immensely active, followed by hot towels and cocoa.

Great memories for a new diver.
I began the trip as a novice diver with seven training dives under my belt. By the time I left with my Iron Diver certificate and 27 additional dives, I felt more confident as the result of a crew and fellow guests who were accommodating and free with their advice and guidance. The AC failed midway through the trip, which was uncomfortable, but the crew worked hard to get it repaired with minimal disruption. Excellent, excellent experience.

- The crew were helpful and patient with a relatively new diver and I left more skilled and confident.. The food was excellent.. The crew made the best of a bad situation when the air conditioning broke down and kept us from losing any dives..

Terrific experience, fabulous crew, great value
The crew was remarkable and the entire experience ran smoothly thanks to captain Rodney and purser Amber. It was all about fun and safety. The crew ran like clockwork. The dive masters were great, always pointing out interesting things and checking that everyone was still with the group. Good communication all around. The boat interior could do with a facelift but it was excellent value given it’s one of the least expensive LBs around.

- The crew who were cheerful, helpful and always on top of things. The choice of sites especially considering the weather conditions at Saba. Extracurricular activities which were a great break from diving for several hours.

Great crew, great trip
While the pace of dives is intense, the dives themselves are mellow and fun. We didn't have great weather but the staff did their best to make trip fun for the entire group. The land tours were later in the afternoon, so it was a balance of timing to see places before they closed.

This is the best way to experience high quality diving, with concentrated diving opportunities in a onen week period.
This was my frst liveaboard experience. I was impressed with the quality of efficiency of the crew. All days were well scheduled, the dives, as well as the meals and shore activities. Cannot say enough good things about the crew, especially Amber and Robyn who made sure that the dives were well coordinated and all on board matters ran smoothly.

Great Diving! Fantastic food and crew for an unforgettable time!
Diving Saba was a unique experience. Overall the crew was extremely awesome! Captain Lauren was great with the boat and crossings. She worked hard to ensure we had quality and safe dive sites with the unpredictable Saba weather. Amber was an amazing hostess, she seemed to know what we wanted before we even asked for it. Fantastic Food and Diving just completed the package. Very well run boat and fun time! Highly recommend!

The crew and new dive friends aboard the Carribean Explorer 2 made this my favorite dive trip yet!
I loved my dive trip on the Carribean Explorer 2 !!!!!!! The whole crew went over and above my expectations to serve us !!! Robyn’s beautiful smile was a bright uplifting start to every day. WOW! Sarah ran a tight ship, and she and Lauren expertly and safely navigated us through our voyage of adventure. Divemasters Brett and John guided us through some beautiful dives, spotted some very well hidden critters, and got us safely back to the boat every time! Julien created some delicious masterpieces for every meal! Thanks for your great smile John-O ! I can’t describe the unbelievable camaraderie the staff and divers developed . My best souvenirs are a bunch of great new friends who shared a common bond on my best dive trip yet!

Enjoyable Week of Diving
Thoroughly enjoyed my week aboard the Caribbean Explorer II. First, and most importantly, the crew was fantastic. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and very professional. Their cohesiveness to address any task, question or request elevated the experience aboard the ship. I enjoyed the diving and appreciated the dive leaders understanding of the sites and navigation under water. The meals were hearty and delicious. Would highly recommend this boat and its crew for those wanting a pleasurable week diving the Caribbean.

Eat, Sleep, and Dive!!! loved it
My husband and I booked this trip less than 90 days before departure. Agency kept us up to date on what was needed to be completed for the trip. We were picked up at the airport and delivered back as promised. (extra fee but it was arranged for us and we were told about all fees prior to trip) The rooms were very tiny with not much space to put clothes (but you really dont need much when you are diving 5 times a day). Diving was good and they changed dive sites to minimize currents and increase visibility. I love to do all the dives and I liked the timing of the dives. For example the night dives were done AFTER dinner. Other places we have traveled it has been a rush to shower and get to a late dinner after night dives.

A very enjoyable week. Diving was generally good with a visability a little poor at times. However reefs were in good shape. Crew on the boat was best I’ve seen anywhere
