The large dive platform at the back of the main deck is equipped with individual gear lockers, a large camera table with low-pressure air hoses, recharging stations, tank racks, a bathroom, and separate freshwater rinse baths for dive equipment and cameras.
Dive itineraries aboard the Caribbean Explorer II explore some of the best dive sites in the northern Caribbean. Known for its offshore pinnacles, deep underwater seamounts, finger reefs, recent wrecks, and various coral labyrinths, Saba and St. Kitts have a lot to offer divers underwater. Diving in Saba Marine Park mixes steep vertical walls and coral labyrinths. Expect to see reef sharks, turtles, rays, and more. Protected in 1987, Saba Marine Park encompasses the waters and seabed encircling the entire Caribbean island of Saba, ensuring the park's thriving aquatic life remains healthy. Diving in St Kitts is a diversity of wrecks, ancient relics, and bustling coral reefs. Some top dive sites here include the Wreck of the River Taw, Anchors Aweigh, and Paradise Reef. Divers can see various macro life, including frogfish and sea horses, as well as sharks, turtles, and octopuses. Night dives on the reefs are immensely active, followed by hot towels and cocoa.

Yes Carribean-but different! Pristine!
My friend and I try to experience different diving locations. This was our first time in St Kitts and Saba. The dive sites were very nice with healthy reefs. The boat was comfortable and well maintained (with the exception of a broken ice machine mid-trip...no fault of the crew). The crew was truly one of the best we have experienced, which has put this boat as one of the best dive trips in our price range. Thanks!

Great crew, great trip
While the pace of dives is intense, the dives themselves are mellow and fun. We didn't have great weather but the staff did their best to make trip fun for the entire group. The land tours were later in the afternoon, so it was a balance of timing to see places before they closed.

The crew and new dive friends aboard the Carribean Explorer 2 made this my favorite dive trip yet!
I loved my dive trip on the Carribean Explorer 2 !!!!!!! The whole crew went over and above my expectations to serve us !!! Robyn’s beautiful smile was a bright uplifting start to every day. WOW! Sarah ran a tight ship, and she and Lauren expertly and safely navigated us through our voyage of adventure. Divemasters Brett and John guided us through some beautiful dives, spotted some very well hidden critters, and got us safely back to the boat every time! Julien created some delicious masterpieces for every meal! Thanks for your great smile John-O ! I can’t describe the unbelievable camaraderie the staff and divers developed . My best souvenirs are a bunch of great new friends who shared a common bond on my best dive trip yet!

Great adventure on board of CE II, comfortable stay and plenty of diving
We managed 25 dives during our time on board. I felt very safe and our dive masters were very knowledgeable about marine life as well as dive sites.Plenty of good food and beverages of every kind available. Overall good value, considering amount of dives available, boat quality and service provided. Thanks to captain Ian,Brett,Kathy,Jenny,Terry and chef Jim for good times on board of CE II. Hope to make this trip again Radek

Great crew, great sites, and all the dives you can handle.
As a photographer the DMs were great at helping find the local critters. Good dive plans and site selections (diamond rock and twilight were amazing but all the sites were fantastic). Night dives every night!

Terrific experience, fabulous crew, great value
The crew was remarkable and the entire experience ran smoothly thanks to captain Rodney and purser Amber. It was all about fun and safety. The crew ran like clockwork. The dive masters were great, always pointing out interesting things and checking that everyone was still with the group. Good communication all around. The boat interior could do with a facelift but it was excellent value given it’s one of the least expensive LBs around.

- The crew who were cheerful, helpful and always on top of things. The choice of sites especially considering the weather conditions at Saba. Extracurricular activities which were a great break from diving for several hours.

St Kitts to Saba during hurricane Erin-way to go Captain Rodney!
This crew went above and beyond to create a great trip under some challenging conditions. The trip started when hurricane Erin was just coming through St Kitts. The crew did everything possible to make us comfortable as we boarded the first day (big waves and LOTS of boat movement moored to the dock). The conditions were still poor the next day and we were unable leave port or dive but with some smart planning and a quick pivot by Captain Rodney, we were able to have a land tour. The next five days of diving were tricky with currents, low visibility, and some rough seas but the captain did everything possible to get us in the water and chose the best dive sites for us under the circumstances to ensure a great trip...and it was! We had some wonderful dives; lots of fish and beautiful healthy corrals and sponges. Demian and Robyn were great dive guides-enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and always there to lend a hand. Robyn was also the ship's purser and helped with everything (absolutely loved her energy, her attention to the guests, and getting things done). The food was excellent and the chef kept the meals interesting and delicious (although a roasted duck met it's demise in a shattered dish because of the rough seas). The boat was in good shape but a little dated (thus the 4-stars) but comfortable and met all our needs. I will definitely be back to do this route again!
