The Junk is a historic liveaboard that offers a unique experience, combining the charm of a traditional wooden ship with modern comforts, while taking divers on adventures around the Similan and Surin Islands. The Junk accommodates 18 divers in 6 fully air-conditioned cabins, each with an en-suite bathroom and hot shower. Choose from private, three-berth, or four-berth cabins to suit your preferences. The boat has a shaded dive deck, personal set-up areas, and the option for Nitrox diving.

This 33-meter authentic wooden sailing vessel has its claim to fame: It has been used in several films, including James Bond’s “The Man With The Golden Gun” and "Swiss Family Robinson."

Fantastic experience that lived up to all expectations both above and under water.
Highlights have to be the three dives on the Western Ridge where we saw oceanic mantas on all three occasions and the three dives on Richelieu Rock where the diversity and condition of marine and coral life is simply mind boggling. They are unforgettable life changing experiences that we’re privileged to have.

The Junk is just the most perfect boat to sail around the Andaman Sea hoping from island to island in the Similan/Surin chain whilst enjoying the most amazing diving experiences. Best Dive Trip!
I absolutely LOVED my time aboard the Junk! Great value for the money with incredible food, crew members, and facilities. Each room has an en suite bathroom with comfortable beds. There is a sun deck with very comfy seating and lots of spaces to relax. The food was the best I had throughout all of Thailand and made the diving even that much better! 100% would recommend.
