Highlights
Nusantara liveaboard is a 20 m-long (65-feet-long) traditional Indonesian vessel offering divers and guests a unique experience to Komodo while keeping things simple and easy. Taking up to 12 passengers, Nusantara accommodates guests in a dorm cabin sleeping 8 with all beds having privacy curtains, fans, and power sockets available. A further 4 mattresses allow guests to sleep on deck under the stars, enjoying cool night breezes. There are also 2 shared bathrooms onboard. Nusantara has a spacious dive deck area to gear up and enter the water for diving. On the top deck is a large sun deck with bean bags, perfect for relaxing between dives or simply enjoying the surroundings.
Offering different trips between 2-4 nights throughout Komodo, Nusantara offers simple, quick, and easy dive trips to get divers to famous dive spots in Komodo, where they can get between 9-15 dives per trip. Visiting well-known dive sites such as Manta Point, Batu Bolong, or muck diving at Wainilu.

Amazing, once in a lifetime experience.
The knowledge of my instructor made a big difference, gave me small dive tips to make any of my future dives more enjoyable. Good understanding of where to look for animals underwater to provide us with the best experience possible. Food was amazing and always on time. Staff very friendly and pleasent to get to know over the days. All the other travelers also made this experience a once in a lifetime. Thank you so much for everything!

First live-aboard was a blast
This was my first time in strong currents and the crew helped me feel safe and secure. I ended up enjoying it more than expected. The number and variety of fish congregating in the currents was absolutely amazing to watch!

Unbelievable diving experience
I spent 4 days and 3 nights on board the Nusantara with Mikumbu Diving and the whole experience was perfect from start to finish. The boat and crew were all excellent, and my dive guide Hans, was brilliant. All the dives were really well briefed, I loved the little dive site drawings on the white board, and felt safe on all the dives. The land based trips for the Komodo dragons and a sunset walk were also really great additions. The food was class, really above my expectations of what was possible to prepare on a little boat, and various dietary requirements for people on board were all catered for well. The sleeping cabin is on the cosy side, but after a day of diving its perfectly possible to sleep well, there are portholes to let fresh, cooler air in. There's a nice spot on top with bean bags to chill out on, or an area below for some shade. The equipment was all pretty new and in very good condition. And the dive sites are world class!

Best part of our trip to Indonesia
This was my first liveabord and absolutely blew my expectations out of the water. The ship was comfortable, the crew was outstanding, and the food was some of the best food I've had on the trip. Other than that the dive sites were fantastic. We had Illham as a guide and he knew the areas so well and was fantastic about pointing things out. Komodo Island was very cool too. If I was ever lucky enough to come back to Bajo I would book with the same crew!
