La Pinta, Galapagos

  • from US$ 1,042 / day

Renovated in 2017, the stylish La Pinta combines nautical themes and modern elements and offers a simultaneously chic and relaxed vibe. She has 24 cabins, which can sleep up to 48 guests per sailing. There are two cabin classes: Admiral and Cabin. Each cabin has a private bathroom, air conditioning, a safety deposit box, a desk and chair, an iPod docking station, and full length windows so you can always see the wonders outside. It’s possible to join some cabins together for groups or families. Feeling active? There’s an onboard fitness room. If you would prefer to take it easy, the hot tub and sun deck are ideal. Mingle with other guests in the Sky Bar, soak up the sights from one of three observation decks, or enjoy the vistas from the air-conditioned comfort of the indoor lounge, complete with floor-to-ceiling windows. There’s also a cosy dining room and an onboard library, and the vessel carries snorkelling equipment, kayaks, wetsuits, and a glass-bottom boat.

La Pinta offers eight-night trips that let you enjoy both the marvellous Galapagos and the colonial beauty of the UNESCO-listed Ecuadorian capital of Quito. You’ll spend two nights in Quito followed by a six-night cruise. Round-trip airfares between Quito and the Galapagos are included in the package. If you love diverse vacations where you can merge culture, history, and nature, this is perfect! You’ll visit seven islands in the Galapagos, including Isabela, Fernandina, Santa Cruz, Floreana, and Rabida. Your trip also includes a visit to the Charles Darwin Research Centre and the opportunity to take part in diverse land and water activities.
