Safe, Fun and Personable
The highlights of my trip was definitely all the amazing dives and seeing such a beautiful healthy underwater environment. I also loved visiting a couple hiking locations like Pianemo and the Jellyfish lake! Nice to mix up the diving a bit. All of the boat crew was amazing and friendly and most importantly, I never felt unsafe. Highly recommend!!

I’m recommending Amaya to all my dive friends!
This was my first Liveaboard and I was shocked at the amazing experience. The crew, Wilson, Irwan and Rendy were so quick to respond to guests needs and our dive guide, Truly is the best we’ve ever had. She helped us take photos and brought us to areas that would photograph well. A few notes for improvement: the meals were great but I think the instagram set a different expectation of food otherwise I wouldn’t have had such high expectations, the cabin and bathroom were clean but the bathrooms are starting to show wear and tear and could benefit from minor recaulking / deep scrubbing. The diving was top notch and was exactly as I imagined. All in all, I would book this again if I had another chance.

Amaya is the GOAT BOAT in Komodo
There are dozens of boats to choose from in Komodo - but Amaya stands out. The new boat is so clean, the staff is warm and welcoming - plus the diving is some of the best in the world. Would love to return in the future, its that good! On Amaya we came as strangers and left as family amongst the staff and crew. Everyone was happy! 1 million stars!!

Amazing experience. Would highly recommend! The crew are very welcoming and knowledgeable, the boat is amazing and in great shape. The food is amazing (although sometimes too much). Will definitely join the Amaya on my next Liveaboard!

Fantastic boat, crew and location (Komodo)
When we failed to see Manta's at two hopeful spots, the staff changed up our last dive so we could try again (unfortunately still not our lucky day). The food quality was fantastic and staff very accommodating. There were some nights where the boat rocking made it tough to sleep so definitely make the most of the calm patches during the day to get a nap or two in. The diving was incredible and staff knowledgeable about the area and dive sites. There were times where as a group we would have preferred to be earlier as were last/not first to hikes or dive sites but wasn't a big deal. As a vegetarian there were plenty of options although it was always the food to run out first given non vegetarians would eat both options so would bring some additional snacks just in case.

Awesome first live aboard experience
I really enjoyed this trip in Komodo. The scenery is spectacular and it was a privilege to see a Komodo dragon. The Amaya is a beautiful boat, plenty of shady spots on deck to read and relax between dives (or sun yourself if you wish). The staff were awesome - so friendly and helpful. The food was great - I can’t believe the quality and variety produced in that little galley. We had a couple of special dinners on the deck that were wonderful. The diving that I managed to do was very enjoyable (sadly a cold interfered and I missed some dives) - our dive guide Wilson was excellent and helped us keep the dives appropriate for our skill level. I would love to go back and visit Raja with the Amaya crew one day. Thank you to you all!

Seamless and incredible experience
The liveaboard experience with Amaya was unforgettable. The incredible teamwork and coordination between the crew created a very friendly, seamless and attentive environment that made me feel very taken care of, especially with the amazing food and beverage service throughout the trip. The professional dive guides were trustworthy and flexible, allowing me to have an incredible and unrestricted diving experience. The cabin and boat deck were also high-quality and very comfortable, making for amazing lounging and socialising between dives.

Excellence
Seeing the Majestic Oceanic Manta Rays at Manta Sandy. The number of dives usually 4 per day or the three treks and the final party where the crew and you have an Indonesian dance Party. Not to mention the professional Massage for a very reasonable fee for my strained neck and psciatic back and leg by Hussain. Lidya the convenor and divemaster was attentive and caring beyond measure. She even helped me with my flight and hotel accommodations on my second leg of my trip when my arrangements had changed! Highly recommend this Phinisi Ironwood boat made in Saluwesi from treees from Borneo. The workmanship was very interesting and it had an excellent relaxation and outside dining area area on the generous bow deck. The bowsprit was a romantic place to sit and watch the sunset . Reminded me of the movie Titanic when l saw this young couple sitting there and holding hands after a sumptuous meal made by Trevor and his assistant. The Captain was receptive and engaging you could sit up top in the command bridge and watch all the GPS screen and navigational running of the 147 ton 110' foot yacht! All Indonesian happy attentive crew ! The boat divers was not overcrowded like my second week in another country. Even the cameras were washed and compressed air dried! Dont miss out on this dive trip . I changed my calender three times to get onto this waitlist boat and was so glad a single opening had come up. Seven nights eight days was perfect!😍
