Great time
Had a great week on the Galaxy Orion. The itinerary was packed and we saw so much wildlife in our week. Loved going snorkelling everyday and getting to swim with white tip reef sharks, turtles, sealions and many fish

My family of 4 (2 adults, 13 year old, 10 year old) had a terrific 5-day cruise on the Galaxy Orion! Our naturalist guide and the entire Orion crew
My family of 4 (2 adults, 13 year old, 10 year old) had a terrific 5-day cruise on the Galaxy Orion! We stayed in 2 of the upper cabins, which were just big enough for two people. The common areas include a nice outdoor lounge at the back of the upper deck, indoor dining area and living room on the middle deck, and the excursion preparation area at the back of the middle deck. The ship has two rigid, inflatable zodiac boats to take people to/from excursions and to/from shore. Also, free internet on-board was consistent (we did emails, video chatting on WhatsApp, changes in travel plans, Disney+ in the common area). Every full-day consisted of breakfast, one to two morning excursions, lunch, one to two afternoon excursions, a 5 minute brief that previewed the next day's activities, and dinner. Overall, it was a very full day for our family (though there was always 30-60 minutes before/after meals for washing up and down time). All snorkeling equipment was provided to us (snorkels, mask, wetsuits). Our naturalist, Julio, was amazing. He accompanied us on all excursions, and was friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable. He was also our English-Spanish translator whenever we needed it. The crew were also very friendly and accommodating. In addition to their normal duties of captain, chef, engineer, helmsman, cabin, etc, they all helped us get ready for and return from excursions. There were always people there to help, and we felt very taken care of. The food was delicious. Breakfast was a buffet that included eggs, other protein (e.g. sausages, bacon, ham), starch (e.g. potatoes, yucca), and fruit. Lunch and dinner was always something different and delicious and filling ... soup, entree, and dessert. Even in the (limited) down-time, you can always enjoy the spectacular views from the ship of turquoise water, alien-seeming islands, wildlife right next to the boat (frigate birds, sea lions, sea turtles, fish), or stargazing (first time our family saw the Milky Way, since the light pollution is so low in the Galapagos). Altogether, it was an amazing trip for our whole family, and everyone enjoyed it!

Best week of our life
We had a really amazing week aboard the Galaxy. The diving was the best of our life, it is really fantastic to see a sea so full of life. We so thousands of hammerheads, humpback whales, orcas, mola mola, Marine iguana and many other. But not only the diving is good, the crew is really friendly and you can feel that there are good vibes in the boat.

Everything
The diving was incredible in the Galápagos. Whale sharks, hammerheads, white tip, black tip, Galapagos sharks, silky sharks, turtles, seahorses, rays and much more! The crew was wonderful and very helpful. They put on a little show for us at one point which was so fun. I don’t want to give the details as I want it to be a surprise for future guests. It was an unforgettable experience and I would totally recommend it.

ONE IN A LIFETIME Experience
These 8 days around the islands have been our best experience so far, pure magic. The itinerary is well designed to see very different landscape and wildlife, off track of the main human activities. For a couple days in Isabela/Fernandina we didn't spot a single other human being. The boat was very nice, tidy and clean. Sometimes the night was difficult to sleep because of the choppy sea, especially because the schedule dictated some hard navigation right after dinner. Crew and guide was fantastic, they took care of every single moment with expertise and care. A very tight schedule with 14 guests was always met on time. Food was also very good. Everyday buffet breakfast, main meals were double course plus dessert, and a tasty snack was always awaiting us on board after every single activity. The captain was also very flexibile to adjust boat movements in case of need. Maybe the vegetarian selection could be improved, as it lacked a bit of proteins and the alternatives for them were not thought with same attention.

The best week of my life!
We saw EVERYTHING! sea lions, white tip sharks, hammerhead sharks, galapagos sharks, whale sharks, eagle rays, HUMPBACK WHALES, ORCAS..... it's been a dream! The boat ride is challenging, I'm almost constantly sea sick but the crew did their best to take care of my needs, and they are amazing!! They took care of diving equipments after every dive so we get to enjoy the most out of it. Also love how chill and happy they are:) The food is amazing too, i did not expect to have good food on the boat but I was impressed! Would absolutely recommend this liveaboard to everyone!
