The MV Lapat is a liveaboard that caters to a maximum of 16 guests, offering an intimate and personalized diving experience in Thailand’s Andaman Sea. There are 2 cabin types available: 2 Master cabins with en-suite bathrooms and 6 air-conditioned twin cabins with shared facilities. All bathrooms are stocked with eco-friendly toiletries, and hot water showers are available in the Master cabins.
The boat includes an indoor salon with a TV and entertainment system, a shaded outdoor dining area, and a large sundeck with comfortable mattresses and partial shade, perfect for relaxing between dives. Meals are freshly prepared and served buffet-style, offering a delicious mix of Thai and Western cuisine. Guests also enjoy freshly brewed coffee on board, a favorite among divers. Whether lounging or dining, MV Lapat provides a comfortable and social setting for divers to unwind.
Trips aboard MV Lapat range from 3- to 4-night itineraries exploring world-renowned dive sites including the Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, Richelieu Rock, and the Surin Islands. Expect up to 15 dives on the longer itinerary, with opportunities for sunrise, sunset, or night dives. The experienced crew, with over 30 years in the Andaman Sea, ensures safe and exciting dive adventures. Hotel transfers are included, and non-overnight day divers may join for select dives..

Too many divers on the boat
Under water was great! Dive guide was wonderful but the boat is older and tired. There were way too many day trip divers on board which meant that it took 2 hours to get everyone in and out of the water as groups went in stages.

Opened up a new way of diving
Meeting lots of different people from numerous countries and of course the diving. Diving on Richelieu rock was incredible. The boat was brilliant not too big. The staff and the food were exceptional ;)
