The lovely Estrella del Mar offers simple comfort and space on small ship cruises around the Galapagos. She’s a popular choice for those seeking a budget-friendly experience. There are eight cabins, catering to a maximum of 16 guests per voyage. The basic cabins all come with air conditioning and a private bathroom, and feature bunks instead of side-by-side beds. Onboard meals are freshly prepared each day, including a mixture of local and global cuisine. The wraparound deck is the ideal place to feel the breeze through your hair and the sun on your face as you lap up the splendid vistas and chat with the other youthful guests. Sun loungers and seating are available. Alternatively, unwind in the lounge, complete with large windows, a bar, and a book collection. You can learn more about the fascinating wildlife of the Galapagos from the onboard naturalist. Make use of the snorkelling gear and wetsuits for no additional fees and be in awe of the diverse creatures that live in the warm waters.
Three different itineraries are available on the Estrella del Mar: the seven-day South and Central Islands trip, seven days exploring the land and sea of the North and Central Islands, and a ten-day trip around the West, Central, and East Islands. Each cruise promises new adventures each day, with abundant wildlife in one of the world’s most ecologically diverse places combined with scenic views, diverse terrains, and varied activities. The ten-day cruise starts in Puerto Ayora and finishes at San Cristobal, before flying back to Quito. Highlights include lava tunnels, giant Galapagos tortoises, red beaches, craters and other volcanic features, birdlife, iguanas, and more. Each itinerary includes a hotel stay in Quito at the start of the trip and flights to and from mainland Ecuador.
Step onto the Estrella del Mar and receive a warm reception from the crew members, all of whom aim to help you have a trip to treasure. Avoid disappointment and guarantee your places by calling us or booking online.

Outstanding time in Galapagos
My cabin mate and I slept under the stars on the upper deck. Excursions and activities were well timed and plentiful. The boat needs some minor attention like a towel bar in the bathroom and shelves in the cabin. Staff were friendly and attentive.

What it lacks in 'Luxury' is more than compensated with value.
Without doubt the Islands and animals. Well informed and intelligent guide.
