Small boat with outdated rooms

First liveaboard experience, new to diving, everyone was very accommodating & helpful. Gaby was an amazing hostess & DM. The other DM let me where her wet suit because I was cold (no charge for a rental so nice!). I liked the video production that the other DM put together.

The crew tried their best, but we found out they were one man short, didn't have the usual cook, and 20' beginner reefs just got boring (blackbeards was doing wall dives while we were in the shallows)

The few deeper dives/wall dives we did were fun, and had lots of potential, but we only did a single (two if we were lucky) dive at any of them. We spent a lot of time at 20-30' deep sites....The blue hole would have been great, but we waited till the last day and the viz was under 15' so you couldn't see anything....we should have done this one earlier in the week when the weather was better, it could have been an epic dive in better conditions. If I was the captain, I would have used the chase boat (zodiac) to my advantage. All the divers did a lot of swimming to and from sites, which would leave us perhaps 10 - 20 min time exploring the wall, and another 30-40min finding the site/finding where the boat swung to after the dive. My Girlfriend got her advanced open water course completed, and her instructor (Manx Dave) was really awesome as a teacher, and just to hang out with between dives. He was a real hard worker. The rest of the crew was great, but we found out they were short a man, and unfortunately one guy was on his first week with the boat, and the regular chef had to take the week off. The food was still good, but not quite at the same level as other liveaboards I've been on. We did a shark dive on a wreck, but they only put a single fish in the bucket, so the action was kinda limited. I've done lots of shark dives (Tiger Beach trip with SDM, Bull Sharks in Cancun, Hammers in Bimini), and this one just didn't stack up even close to those. There was lots of coral to see, and some sites had nice swim through caverns...it just seemed like the animals that were advertised (eagle rays, saw few sharks, no big schools of fish) just were not there. This might be because we spent the majority of the trip outside the protected park area perhaps. Overall, the trip was OK, but some better planning of where to go on what days would have gone a long way. We had a ton of experienced divers aboard, and a lot of us agreed that the dives were beginner level.

offered Ad. Open Water Course for my Girlfriend, had a good instructor, and we saw a few sea turtles (only highlight animal to write home about)

Exceeding our wildest dreams!!

The night dives on the Bahamas Aggressor were the best I've been on to date. The crew went so far above and beyond in every aspect that they made the trip, and hooked us as Aggressor divers for life! The food was also sublime!! I could not say enough positive things about this company and crew.

Amazing

After the hurricane I wasn't expecting the diving to be great but our knowledgable captain made the call and headed out to Eleuthera were there was less wind and currents. Diving was great, visibility as well weather didn't cooperate but you can't book the weather. Staff was amazing food was to die for overall a trip worth every penny

Great on board service and good diving

It as a good trip. We were not very lucky with the weather and having the AC on during the cold was a bit odd. Diving was good, but again we were unlucky with the large stuff. The crew was amazing when a squall came up unexpectedly and got everyone back on board at significant risk to themselves. While I expect some divers appreciate the freedom, we vastly prefer the model where a dive master, familiar with the site, leads a group of 6-8 divers. On this boat, navigation is mostly left up to the individual diver which we find unnecessarily stressful. Having to secure our bathroom door with a bungy cord and having to store our suitcases in an already crowded cabin was also a bummer and not up to standards on other boats.

Very good Crew

The Crew was excellent, and so was their service. The Chef David prepared delicious food, and soups. We got into a Squall and had two divers in the water and the captain and crew performed in the finest professional manner, getting them safely back on board in over 50 mph winds and over 8 foot swells. Some wanted the DMs to do more leading on the dives--only because they know better than us where the critters are hiding. We didn't see nearly as much underwater life as I expected. What saved the underwater part of the trip was the large numbers of Caribbean Reef Sharks--I got great shots of them. Make sure everyone who goes in late December and in January knows to bring sweatshirts and jackets, for it was pretty cool and windy.
