Join the MV Discovery yacht for an unforgettable small-ship cruise in Alaska. At 87ft, the M/V Discovery can travel to where the larger cruise ships can't go, and with only 10 guests on board, she promises to deliver an intimate experience. Elegant yet functional. The Discovery Alaska features an open layout with ample room to relax and unwind on your cruise. There are four spacious common areas, each with picture windows to offer panoramic views of the stunning Alaskan scenery. Six well-appointed staterooms with comfortable beds, storage space, vanity/sink, and opening portholes are located on the lower deck, along with 2 shared bathrooms and showers.
Family-owned and operated since 1981 and one of Alaska's first small-ship eco cruises, the MV Discovery captain and crew know the region extremely well. Alaskan cruises are 8-days/7-nights long, and with no set schedule, flexible itineraries mean better wildlife encounters. Stop to photograph bald eagles on an iceberg, spend time with Humpback whales or go hiking in the Alaskan wilderness without worrying about sticking to a fixed schedule.

Ben and the crew were incredibly flexible and accommodating. Amazing scenery, food, wildlife. Can’t think of anything that could have been better!

- The boat, the crew and the food
A completed bucket list item checked off.
Highlights had to be the relationship with the crew which was great including the captain who was everywhere and had dinner with the passengers each evening. Again, the boat itself which was comfortable, sturdy, well appointed and a blast from the past, yet maintained as if it were new. The food was fantastic, well prepared and with a huge variety satisfying at each sitting. Plenty of activities on board and off to keep anyone busy and ready to sleep at the appointed time. ************ All stars.
