World-class diving experience
The one, and only one thing that Solitude One does not do well is advertising itself. The ship is Directed by Alfonso and Silvia who truly understand the business of diving vacations. You can tell by details provided with each dive experience: very detailed dive briefings with pictures, boat assignments, hot tea available after dives, hot or cold wet towels as you return to the main boat after each dive ... the list goes on. Pair that with nicely sized cabins, great food, a camera/computer room, and you have the makings of a truly 5-star diving vacation. My wife and I will highly recommend to our friends!

The boat was relaxing and the diving was excellent.
Every single dive was excellent, but for me Blue Corner, German Channel, and Ulong Channel stood above the rest. How the crew organized the whole trip made everything so easy and relaxing from our wake up call to the dive briefings to gearing up to eating. And the food was, to say the least, excellent! Every meal exceeded all my expectations.

Wonderful experience
Palau is such a special place - beautiful and varied dive sites, abundant sea life and great visibility - there wasn't one dive that I didn't love. I arrived in Koror a few days before the boat departed...in my anxiousness to get in the water, I did a few dives with a shore operator. While the dives I did from shore were very good, having more direct access to the dive sites without an hour + skiff ride each way (and the ability to do night dives) made me so glad that I spent the majority of my time on a liveaboard - and I can't imagine a better operator to have gone with. In short - if you plan to dive with Solitude One, prepare to be spoiled. The staff are all not only service-focused and experts at what they do, but overall awesome people and make you feel at home from the minute you step onboard. The food is outstanding (and you will never go hungry), the boat clean and comfortable with lots of extra space to spread out if you want time to yourself (find the hammocks on the sundeck!). Every detail is seen to - from gear being perfectly cleaned and set up for you before each dive, to a smiling face waiting for you with hot (or cold) towels when you return afterwards...this is pampering at it's best. I can't recommend Solitude One enough and look forward to diving with them again in the future!

Excellent trip - diving was great and crew was very attentive!
Parrot fish spawning several days before the new moon. Blue Corner did not disappoint. Lots of sharks. Mantas at German channel. Cleaning stations galore for all types and species of fish. Remarkably healthy reefs. Boat was spacious and well accommodated. Cruise directors paid extreme attention to detail right down to the bbq on the beach the last night. Diving was so much better from the Liveaboard than from land (I did both). Much easier, much shorter commutes to dive sites (shaving off >45 min at times), more attentive dive guides, and importantly more relaxing dives. Large diversity of dives - corners, walls/drop offs, channels, shallow and deep dives, spectacular caves/swim throughs, wrecks and even bump head parrot fish spawning before the new moon!

Bucket list experience that exceeded expectations
Their is a gamut of diving experiences- reef, wreck-ships and plane, cave and reef-hook diving. Jellyfish Lake, Chandelier Cave and Blue Hole/Corner are Palau exclusives. I always enjoy learning new things while diving - experienced reef hook diving for the first time, got to practice using my safety sausage with reel @ safety stops and developed my skills with current dives.

Amazing diving in comfort on Solitude 1
Super friendly crew, amazing service. Diving was safe and exciting, the Philippines itinerary really went beyond my expectations, the reefs were so lush and the dives were diverse, from walls to muck to the threshers. It was my second time on the solitude one and I’m looking forward to a third trip.

A top class alternative to the Palau Siren which was out of commission at this time
This was an alternative to Palau Siren which had run aground a few months earlier.and was still unavailable.Whilst very different in its layout the facilities and staff were of a very high standard. If offered a free place on one or the other I would be hard pressed to choose.

Awesome Trip to Tubbataha with Solitude One
The boat is fantastic, very spacious and offers all a diver heart is looking for. A professional crew provides first class service, pampers you and reads every wish from your eyes. We got 5 meals a day, which was delicious and also the cabin was excellent. Last but not least, the Diving was great. Conclusion: the best LiveAboard Trip we had and we sure come back for an other tour with Solitude One

Great for big fish, unfortunately few colors in the reefs.
The biggest highlights were the encounters with whale sharks, manta rays and many other shark species. Unfortunately, there are also lowlights: some divers (photographers) disregarded the highly praised rules several times (turtle scratched, soft corals destroyed with fins). Although we pointed this out to the tour leader, there was not even any information or a reminder etc.. The tour leader, however, did everything he could to keep an eye on the American tourists and didn't care much about the other guests. Except for the big fish we are disappointed by the tour.

Comprehensive approach to deliver a good and also safe experience for the guests from pickup from hotel to drop off at airport
Cathedral Cave dive, variety of dives, nice mix with welcome drink, BBQ on the beach, land excursions, sight seeing and cocktail reception towards the end. What was a nice touch was the dedicated tunes for wake up, dive briefing, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The whole organization works like clockwork.

Great diving, more gluten free selection
This was a great trip and the staff and accommodation was great but would have loved more selection with the food and dessert, after all, there is only so much pasta and fruit that one can handle. As I was a side mount diver you could do with a spare first and second stage just in case someone else's fails as mine did and so was forced to dive with a 15L slung to one side, it was very tiring. the rest of the trip was great and would do it again, also you could do with modular valves.

Great diving from a large ship
Everything went according to plan. Of a maximum of 22 divers, there were only 14 of us. We had lots of room on the anyway spacious vessel. The cruise is very well organized, the dive guides are helpful and knowledgable. There are two dive boats (called "skiffs"), your gear stays on these boats all the time, and all dives are done from these boats. The cruise was around full moon, and we were lucky to witness the red snapper spawning, as well as mantas at cleaning stations, and feeding. Many, many sharks around, even bull sharks and hammerheads. Plus a lot of turtles. On one night, there is a BBQ (already prepared by the crew beforehand) on the beach of Ulong Island (you are there less than 2 hours, which is a bit short). On the last day, there is a visit to Jellyfish lake (snorkling only). Everything is included, except alcohol ($3 can of beer, $30 bottle of wine). Remember that you have to pay additional $210 for permits/fees and $135 for Nitrox (which everybody used) on board.
