Amazing Crew

The crew and food was amazing. The guides where good about spotting different fish and creatures. I have dove many areas in the world and the diving in Raja is good. Vast amounts of coral is impressive, and lots of fish. There where lots of wobbegong sharks however Raja lacked in the critter department compared to other areas that I have been.

A great way to dive Raja Ampat.

Incredible corals, fish, manta, sharks and pygmy seahorses. Urik, the cruise director, is a one many comedy show, expert photographer, problem solver and pro diver. He really made the trip even more fun than it would have been with another director. Very professional but hilarious. I would definitely go with this boat again to another trip in the region. It's pricey but they pamper you like a dive god.

Epic Diving at World Class Dive Sites

Raja Ampat is one of those iconic places of lore among divers. The diving here routinely exceeds expectations and honestly cannot be described in words or pictures. The aggressor crew knows this and does an excellent job keeping you well-fed and prepared so that you can eat, sleep, and dive all day every day for the entire trip. The layout of the boat is well-designed to cater to photographers and streamline the pre- and post-dive process. The food on board is surprisingly good and the dive guides know exactly where to go on each dive to keep everyone happy. The crew on board is awesome and works very hard to make your vacation memorable. The boat is a bit old and is showing some wear and tear but is well-maintained by the crew for a boat her age.

First Time in Raja Ampat

This was my first time to Raja Ampat. I am glad I went with the Aggressor. A purpose built boat designed by divers for divers. The extended trip is so well worth it given its distance and how many sites are there. The crew and local guides were excellent. The social spaces are roomy and there was never a time where things felt cramped. So good I'm going again for round 2.

Awesome trip with the most friendly and helpful crew ever

Very good experience. Only negative point was the food, advertize the option to have local food actively. Would have preferred local food over "western" but did not know that there's an option to get local food.

Excellent crew, comfy boat

It was my 50th and they made the day so special with singing to me all day, a lovely cake in the evening and the crew coming to sing with all their instruments. Super special The diving was great even though the weather wasn't so great, I believe it's better to go to Raja from November onwards, the vis gets better and you get sunshine. Still great diving though and the guides were super spotters. Definitely worth doing this liveaboard.

We had a great ten days of diving

The first few days we dived in beautiful sunshine in areas that were teeming with things to see. Diving in challenging currents to see the mantas. Friendly banter between staff, directors and guests. Plentiful and varied food choices.

Marvelous diving experience

This is my first liveaboard trip, so in comparison to my previous resort experiences, the Pros are: 1. We get to see so much more, 3 large whale sharks, eagle ray, sting ray and a lot more; 2. We are so close to the dive spots, no more tiring speed boat transportation that ruin your stomach; 3. You get to stay with a group of experienced divers for a week, we had a lot of discussion on various topics among people from China, USA, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, Ireland and France, really opened your view on the world; 4. The dive guides and crews are very responsible and kind, they go into water to check the spot before every dive, well organized schedule and safety checks that ensures maximum safety and enjoyment under water; Top notch service and always listen and try to solve every problem you encounter. In general, me and my friend is discussing where will we go for the next liveaboard, once you go, you never miss the dive resorts.

Beautiful diving with an incredible Aggressor team

What a trip! Wonderful fellow divers, great underwater action (even if I did miss the Marlin...) and a highly entertaining crew. Congratulations to the team at the Raja Aggressor for putting smiles on our faces, delicious food on our plates and plenty of gas in our tanks! I would return in a heartbeat.

Great diving, great crew and dive guides, great service and good food, but boat a bit outdated.

Blue Marlin and manta cleaning station, pristine underwater world, minimal pollution (plastic, etc.), absence of other dive boats. The crew (from cleaner to engineer to cook, waitresses and dive guides) was fantastic, all well organised by the Agressor tour director and very attentive, friendly and helpful . The group was well mixed, all nice people, no disturbing characters. Food was good with wine for dinner and good educational sessions and entertainment. One lowlight: boat seemed a bit passed its best. And we asked liveaboard. com for upper deck cabin away from engine room (we booked when the boat was still basically empty): this was apparently not past on to the Agressor people: we got lower deck next to engines! Very noisy and disturbing.

Too notch diving, crew and food!

Seeing creatures never seen before including 3 species of Pygmy Seahorses, Wobbegongs and Crocodile Fish. The Raja Ampat archipelago is unbelievable beautiful - both above and below the water.

Amazing crew and great dive plans!!

To be able to dive a site at the best time and conditions!! As a diver, I believe this trumps anything! I had a few mishaps during the trip and was helped and supported by the CD and crew on the boat. This is a boat to be trusted.

34 dives in 9 days off NW New Guinea

Itinerary limited to N of Raja Ampat due to SE winds. Manta season starts in Oct with NE tradewinds, but we did see mantas, turtles, sharks, and abundant macro life. Challenging currents at times, requiring reef hooks. Visibility 15 to 25 m. Temperature 26 to 28C. Night dives every night if desired. Recommended for experienced divers.

Best liveaboard that I've been onto. Period.

Obviously the dive sites are what I came for. It delivered. Missed the pygmy whaleshark though. BUT. The service of the crew and the entire embience was not what I expected. It blew my mind the moment I step onto the ship. It was luxurious. Pep had been really on top of every single single. Safety, customer experience, comfort, dive briefings. All very confrtably taken care of by him. Our 2 dive guides Jemmy and Agus had been extremely fun to be with under water. Always trying to find hard to spot sea critters and creatures for the group. How they spot the pygmy seahorses are beyond me. They were extremely stressed out when the walking sharks were hidding. It was hilarious. Kadek and Lulu, our personal butlers with us for every needs required. Serving up delicious beers after our last dives. Charly and Ody, making sure our tenders are alway smooth and not rocky. Making sure the divers have their gears proper. Kormang and Yolli, the source of our 5 star meals, every meal!! Last but not least, to Ervanto the captain, Everd, Yuli and Daryanto, for maintaining a great vessel and our journey a safe and joyful one. The rooms are much better than I expected. Compared to what I saw on the website. The food was the best Iv'e ever had on any liveaboard. The service? Did I mention the crew? They made a huge differentiator to the experience and journey. Kudos to the crew. They love what they do. Lastly, I would like to add that the cost compared to the experience is definitely worth it. I am so glad that I chose the aggressor out of the many vessels that I have choice to. Will definitely be back on aggressor the next time. Meanwhile, the coronavirus....... will plan after this thing blows over. It was the perfect Raja Ampat trip for me. Stay safe.

Great diving with an absolutely awesome crew

Early in the season for Mantas but still had some great interactions. Great to see an area where the reefs are actually getting better rather than degrading. Pelagius are starting to make a comeback now the area is protected. Most diverse marine life of anywhere we’ve ever dived before. Food was fantastic and the crew were the best I’ve ever had on a live aboard. Made my Wife’s birthday extra special with not only a lovely cake but a full on live music performance by the very talented crew. Would highly recommend.
