The SS Mary Anne offers amazing small-ship Galapagos cruises. She is a beautiful 52m sailing ship, with over 1000m2 of canvas sails. This 3-masted schooner is one of the only ships in the Galapagos to sail with no engine support. Guests are encouraged to get involved with raising the sails for a true authentic Galapagos expedition, and the experienced crew are more than happy to share their vast knowledge about sailing in the Galapagos. Navigating by sail means a peaceful journey with no sounds of the engines, tempting whales and dolphins to swim alongside the ship.
Catering to a maximum of 16 guests, the S/S Mary Anne Galapagos offers 6 double cabins and 6 single cabins. All cabins have private bathrooms with hot water and are designed with one double lower berth and a single upper berth, and two cabins have lower berths. Because the SS Mary Anne was built for 24 guests but caters to a maximum of 16, there is plenty of space to relax on board. Guests can choose the sun deck with open-air seating or the bridge to enjoy the fresh sea air. On the main deck is the dining room, kitchen, lounge with entertainment area and library. Meals can also be served al-fresco to enjoy the stunning Galapagos views and sunsets. Enjoy international and local Ecuadorian cuisine with freshly sourced ingredients.
S/S Mary Anne offers two exciting Galapagos expedition itineraries to choose from. The 9 crew members and Galapagos Naturalist guide on board will ensure an exciting and educational cruise with fantastic wildlife encounters. On the 'Galapagos West' itinerary guests will get the chance to explore Santiago, Isabela Island, Santa Cruz, Floreana and Fernandina to have amazing encounters with Sea Lions, Penguins and amazing snorkeling. On the East itinerary, points of interest include Darwin Bay, Santa Fe, Gardner Bay and Bartolome with lava bubbles and penguins galore!
The SS Mary has no supplement on single cabins, so guests travelling alone can enjoy this once in a lifetime trip to the Galapagos and make friends that will last a lifetime. Don’t miss this exciting adventure and book online or call us today to secure your space.

Unforgettable trip on a real sale boat
Itinerary exposed us to almost all animal and plant species that the Galapagos islands can offer.

- Beautiful ship with lots of deck space and relative stability in rough seas. Friendly and knowledgeable guide. Fellow passengers
Great crew, fantastic destination, pretty decent ship
Seeing all the animals was great, Crew was very friendly and helpful, safety seemed important. Snorkeling gear good, shorty wetsuits were $25 for week and needed. October weather fair as expected, seas a bit rough. The arrival airport transfer arrangements were quite disapppointing, cobbled together on the spot after a long wait with no contact person available. There was supposed to be an excursion last day, but guide had a flight that required leaving boat at 7 AM. Food basic/bland but well prepared. Able to accommodate different diets. I had low expectations for the sailing portion and these were met. Before leaving, I noticed last minute deals for half of what I paid for trip.
